nice outdoor pool and access directly to the beach. air con in lobby was amazing because it was so hot outside
prices of drinks and food at pool is extremely expensive. for the prices you would expect better standard of serving. for example 16/18 dollars for a cocktail in a plastic glass with no garnish.

Upkeep was not in good condition

The location is perfect
The hotel needs more renovation. The wall-to-wall carpet must be prohibited someday. They clean the rooms after the 3rd day of staying, which means that if you spend 3 days there, you will never see your room being cleaned. The staff seems to be fed up with everything, most of them are not willing to help or they pretend they help. Low quality of breakfast and either no services or expensive services. Never felt the hospitality as I expected.

Location, swimming pool and lobby of the hotel was amazing🙂
Extra deposit money 100$ per night. Old hotel equipment. Owners nvested in equipment 20 year ago but renovation of the rooms would be good. We were there 4 persons in one room but we got towels just only for 2 persons???? After complaint in reception desks we got 3 towels for 4 persons??? Why? Dont know. Horrible

The location was perfect!
Only one face cloth in the room. Guest services never answer the phone the whole time we were there. They pulled extra money from my card and gave me the run around before they fixed it.

It was close to the beach and lot of shops and eateries around
The room was extremely small and congested. They didn't provide even water to drink, even after asking for it. Everything is overly priced and not worth. Washroom so small that a you can move without hitting the walls.

The location was close to the beach, pool and shopping
Go anywhere but to South Beach Miami. Especially do NOT stay at the Shelborne. Their security is a joke, you are charged $50 a day to park and their valets are thru a 3rd party. Their breakfast does not come standard, you have to pay $25 per day for frozen waffles and dry bacon. You are automatically charged 20% tip anywhere in south beach and the Shelborne doesn't even tell you that so I was double tipping the first few days. The pool opens later in the day and closes before dusk. There is tons of construction going on inside and next door to the hotel and it's constant noise. I booked a 2 wks stay and honestly would of been better off staying home. This was the most horrible vacation I've ever been on. The amount of money I spent there I could have spent 25% less anywhere else and received better quality. The rooms are small and outdated but their main hotel area is updated. The beach chairs are free to use at the beach but have to pay $25 per day for a beach umbrella.and their beach beds are $150 per day. Trash.

Good pool area, beach front.
Terrible elevator (it takes 5 min waiting to go up)
The staff was very RUDE when we arrive as they had an issue with our reservation. We got into a different room that we paid for and the staff didnt try to resolve it .

Small run-down rooms, a small shower room, it is difficult to move, there is no usb device to charge phones, a very poor breakfast, the behavior of a staff member at the reception named Mohammed was disgraceful

The location was pretty convenient, right in south beach, easy access to the beach and close to many bars and restaurants
It's been my worst experience in any hotel so far.
Everyone other than housekeeping and the bellboy made sure we feel not welcome at the hotel. Pool staff was the worst, zero customer care training and managers didn't really seem to care when we complained about their staff attitude.
From the very first day we just wanted our stay to come to an end. We are never staying here again.

We absolutely loved our view on the 11th floor! Ocean front with balcony absolutely amazing, beautiful and worth the price. Private beach with less croud!!!
Only thing was the bed. It's was comfy but needed to be a little more comfy but other than that the room was perfect and amazing!!!!! Also some of the staff were not so friendly but most of them were very helpful and nice!

We loved the breakfast, pool, the DJ, bar and coffee from the coffee store.
We often had to ask for the water that was included, and the gym only had water 1 of the 4 days we went gher

Initially they booked us in a tiny room with a balcony that was over the kitchen fans (noisy). They moved us to a more spacious southeastern room with a great view and less noise.
Noise of kitchen fans.
