Good location with a nice view recently remodeled still cheap
The floor was dirty it doesn’t look dirty cause it’s dark floor but it you try to wipe it with paper towel or so you will find out it haven’t been cleaned properly, the promoting that they have a pool when it’s not actually open or has any water I made a reservation for a room with bathtub but they give me one with a shower, I think it recently been remodeled which is nice but yet cheap they don’t even have hair dryer or an iron if you looking for a place to spend the night it’s an okay place other than that it’s over priced and not worth it

Was over priced for this older hotel.

Price, View and Location
The whole facility, was dingy and dated. Non smoking room smelled like smoking room. Booked room was changed from king suite to double queen and cable TV was snowny.

Nothing, everything was good.

non smoking room still smelled like a really fresh ash tray

Absolutely loved this place!!! Never had a chance to discover it before, but now - gosh, this is gonna be my place to stay everytime I visit my relative in Alameda. The location is actually so beautiful, the rooms are right by the water on the marina. It was quite to sleep at night, very relazing, friendly & helpful staff. I loved the idea that they can offer you a half day stay as well, check with the clerk at the front desk - if you happen to oversleep, or need to spare time before plane or anything similar, I was told you could pay for a half day or sort of deal, speak to a rep downstairs. Great place, loved it!

the credit cards were used for unauthorized purchases the following day. the clerk the evening before was given my wife’s card on accident. he then asked for a card under my name. the following day, there was a $700 charge on the account for ticketmaster on my wife’s card which is never used. the business and propoerty manager should look into this seriously as it could happen to other guests checking in.

beautiful view and beautiful bedroom
nothing at all everything was to liking

Well appointed disabled room.. which was quiet.
WiFi continues to be a problem. No marina view for disabled folks. Having some 1/2 and 1/2 available in the rooms for coffee would be an improvement and no more risk than the coffee packets.. Tea would be nice, too and is commonly available elsewhere.
Prices have gone up without needed improved service, like internet, and without restoring prior services like simple to go breakfasts.

Used to this old property, and its shortcomings, lack of modern conveniences, doors that keep out the weather, train noises from across the channel, drunks getting back aboard their boats, drained pool, hike up the stairs, crew cox'n yelling "Stroke" on a Saturday morning. Happy with the new walk-in shower and the new t.v. View is hard to beat from our second floor balcony. Someday a developers bulldozers will tear it down and build something sleek and shiny. If I'm still alive... I'll miss the joint.
Stayed there many times. Like an old dog with fleas I'll still scratch its ears. Don't plan on charging your devices. Don't plan on WI-fi. No free breakfast or housekeeping due to Covid.

Plenty of light.
No service at all.

Location has an incredible view
No breakfast due to COVID-19, pool was permanently drained and is no longer available. This was a major disappointment, as it was one of the main amenities we were looking for, and one of the reasons we choose this hotel. The listing should be updated to reflect that there is no pool.

Great location by the marinas and well-appointed room. The bed was comfy and a nice strong shower.
Despite advertising its availability, the property has not had Wi-Fi in the rooms "for months", according to the staff. One of the housekeepers quit during our 4-night stay, so we had no cleaning services at all. The coffee maker didn't work, although we were able to get around that. Overall, this hotel has great potential but needs some investment in facilities and staff.

The location is awesome!! The view of the bay was perfect!! The room was clean and comfortable and quiet!
I did read some negative reviews… and I would agree with some of them that the property could use some TLC… Some fresh paint maybe some new carpet in the hallways…. Are they milking the COVID 19 restrictions to keep the pool and breakfast closed🤔 And the intermittent Internet that doesn’t work at all 🤔 we stayed 3 days…. My home internet would have been fixed before 3 days… just saying.

Location
The WiFi was down. I was offered a room rate reduction to $99/night and I emailed both the hotel and booking.com about it and have yet to see any action about this. Also guests are allowed to smoke on the balconies. This is terrible. Pot smoke and cigarette smoke permeated my room, even with the balcony door closed.

Privacy, good showr room.

Location the water because I come to town for Dr visits it would be great a little cheaper. It's out of my pocket I do stay alot

I liked the view of the bay and Sail boats
The pool was closed and no breakfast in the morning. The patio deck area was always covered in pine needles and spider webs
