Beautiful facility with great artwork on the walls. The staff was very easy to reach when needed. Great view of the cove as well. There was a nice seating area outside. Overall a nice place to stay. We will try it again in the peak season.
For the price, I was kind of expecting more. We stayed in St. John's at 4 star hotels that were significantly cheaper per night. There was no hot water in just the shower. Hot water everywhere else. So we had to turn the cold water on the faucet and full heat on the shower to take a somewhat warmer but still very frigid shower. By the time we were settled in the room to discover this, it was 930pm and I didn't want to bother the owner so late. We did inform an employee about this in the morning.
The WiFi is very odd. I could connect but only via Facebook? It was different for sure.
We did travel in the off season, so the restaurant was closed but everywhere we traveled of our St. John's it was like that as well.
We couldn't find a lighter for the fire pit outside.

The suite was beautiful and the hosts extremely welcoming. The restaurant at The Edge was worth the journey - great traditional fish and chips.
Sliding door to the bathroom was too heavy, didn’t stay closed.

The food and they give you a breakfast bundle if you leave early. You can't drink the water there and they only supply two small bottles.
Rooms were hot, no a/c or fans.
Town is isolated and the only dining in the area is at the inn.

The food was not very high quality and there are no other choices for 30 miles or so. There was no indoor lounge or coffee available before 8 AM
The location and room design and comfort was great. We used the outdoor firepit before dinner and it was a nice space to visit and meet other vacationers. It is a great location to access Mistaken Point

Very friendly staff, excellent dinner options and delicious. We had a special surprise as the hotel held a music show of winners of a songwriting contest where three winners performed. The dining room was full of townspeople and tourists. A very fun and surprising evening.

Carol Anne checked in on us before arrival, and even after as well! The hotel was extremely clean and and close to a grocery store/variety store-
Nothing to complain about! Great host and beautiful spot.

I loved my stay at the Edge of Avalon Inn. The staff were absolutely wonderful. Big shoutout to John who allowed me to use the dining area to participate in a zoom interview. The room was renovated and clean. The restaurant in the Inn is lovely with an incredible view of the town/ocean. The food was also very good. There isn't much going on in the town, so the Inn is the only bar/restaurant in the area. On a plus side, the grocery store is located right beside the Inn. I would recommend to anyone travelling the Irish Loop.
The restaurant closes early, which is expected during off season. No other dislikes of the Inn. It was a wonderful stay.

Great place to stay if you’re doing the Irish loop!

Located in a beautiful spot in Trepassey overlooking a peninsula, it's convenient for those who would like to be close to the Mistaken Point heritage site or just want somewhere to stay along the Irish loop. We thought the bed was super comfortable and the room was huge and clean. We also enjoyed our dinner albeit it being pricey.
Their rates are quite expensive for an inn in a small town. Yes, the room was great but the complimentary breakfast basket consisting of a muffin and a few other Costco items and fruit was rather disappointing. At their rate, I was hoping for a sit in breakfast which would certainly add to the experience.

Beautiful location, excellent staff. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.
The only issue we had was that there are no ceiling fans or air conditioning in the rooms.
