I would stay here again

Never stayed in a Motel 6 before. I was a little concerned because the price seemed too good to be true. But it was good. Nothing fancy, a bit outdated but clean and comfortable.

I thought it a little odd that no Kleenex was in the room and that you had to ask for it at the front desk.

Overall.. a nice stay. Very peaceful

What breakfast?

The remote for the tv didn’t work so well. There were several little ants on the bathroom floor.

Very good

Decent place to spend a night on a road trip. Don't expect much from Motel 6 in the middle of nowhere, and you'll be fine. Hot shower, clean sheets and towels.

second floor, quiet

"private parking" should have a gate, and some means of protecting vehicles from people outside the motel; but there was non. The parking was free but not "private." The airconditioning was slow and noisy; it was 80 in the room when I walked in, and it the air conditioning four hours to cool the room down to 69.

Family Fun Time

Friendly staff and clean rooms. Room size was great and met all of my needs. This is my second stay at this hotel.

There was nothing I did not like about the property or the staff.

Solid Building Protected Travellers in Storm

Staff was great. Place was pretty clean. Best of all, a storm came through with very high winds and the building was solid. I was grateful for that.

Not much really...they have smoking on some of the first floor, but I stayed on the top floor and was not bothered by it.

Exceptional for the price!

For the price, this was an exceptional property. SUPER CLEAN, accommodating, the restaurant on site was excellent, and ALL of the staff was phenomenal! The owner made you feel like you were at home and very friendly. If you're looking for an inexpensive, CLEAN, safe, accommodating, friendly place that offers all the basic amenities, this is it. The property across the street wanted $100 more a night and the only thing additional you got was breakfast. I would stay here again and highly recommend to anyone stopping through. Great job Keith and staff!!!

For what we got for the price, there isn't anything we didn't like. Would stay again and recommend to anyone.

Would not stay there again.

Bare minimum in a room, nothing extra! No Kleenex, no extra blanket. Bed was uncomfortable. Window was unlocked. We were right by desk and could hear everything going on at front desk. My sister wanted cream for coffee in the morning and person at desk couldn’t get any because she couldn’t wake up her boss. I know we got a good rate but still those things should not happen.

The bedsheets were a bit thin, so it was a bit cold for the night.

Clean room at a great price.

Room was updated and clean. attached Bar and Grill had good food and terrific service.

Property was being upgraded so many extras were missing: microwave, refrigerator, breakfast.

Motel 6 Avoca is a nice, clean place to stay while travelling in western Iowa.

We received a wonderful welcome by Tina! Travelling with a basset hound, it was great to meet a dog person. She is the best! The hotel is not the Hilton, but it is a very good option for travelers on I80. The room was comfortable and clean. It was hot outside, so a quiet air conditioning system was welcome! We got a quick look at the nearby town, Avoca. It looks real nice.

The hotel could spruce up the landscaping a bit. It would have been nice to walk Wyatt on some grass, but the reader should not be discouraged from staying with Tina at the Motel 6 in Avoca.

clean, updated . There is a restaurant attached to the back with family friendly food and reasonable prices. this is probably the best motel 6 I have ever stayed at.
