Absolutely amazing place to stay Cheri and Bill were they best hosts by far.

Center of town and within walking distance. Absolutely beautiful place!

Had a great time in Deadwood and surrounding areas. Enjoyed all bars, casinos, food, entertainment, etc etc. Great pizza

great location, parking was snug but appreciate it was close proximity to hotel

I didn’t like that the peanuts at Stan & Ollie’s was so good and greatly appreciated

The decor was really cool. The casino was nice. The staff was very nice and very helpful, especially the lady that cleaned the rooms. She gave us so much information. Very sweet lady. Location was great, walking distance to downtown.

I can't think of anything that I didn't like.

The owner and Staff were down-right family friendly, I thought I was a cousin within hours.

Elevator working would have been nice, 3rd floor a lot for us old farts.

Disappointing. We go to Deadwood often but will probably not stay here again.

Easy parking. Great location. The bed was comfortable and the a.c. worked well. The staff was nice.

I understand there waa remodeling BUT, our first night they shut the elevator down at 6:00 pm. I do not know why. This is a very old building with very steep stairs we had to climb and we are not young people. The room was very small, the pizza restaurant in the hotel did not open.

Great staff makes you comfortable and makes you feel welcome. Hotel was fine - location & clean

Iron Horse is quaint but completely adequate. The rooms are clean, the hotel security is great, the location is central to all the action in Deadwood. The staff - especially owner, Troy, and front desk staff Cheri and Shonda and Chris- were wonderful. Really, if you needed something they saw that it happened. Very pleasant crew. The rates are comparable with a "quaint" old hotel (in other words, they don't rob you) but just because you didn't pay the highest rate in town doesn't mean you didn't get the best service. And best service and comfort it was! Thanks guys - see you next year!

Quaint, old fashioned throwback to last century.

Nice location, all attractions within walking distance. Owner, Troy, and staff pleasure to work/converse with.

Figuring out how to use ceiling fan with air conditioning and why half of the electric plates were not accessible. And rushing on day of checkout to leave because power in building being shut for upgrading/renovation. To no fault of Troy, little staff forced restaurant and bar to be closed on the two nights we stayed.

It was exactly the experience we wanted. Very historic facilities help you feel immersed.

It was within walking distance of main street. So close enough to go back and forth but far enough away to stay away from the crowds if you wanted.

Superb

Staff where fantastic and could not do enough. Very central which helped. The bar downstairs was also great and the staff made you feel like locals the min you walk in.
