The pool is such a big feature of this property. It was heated to 80 degrees during our stay. Hot chocolate was available poolside. Hotel & rooms were clean and modern.
The room service was appallingly terrible. It arrived in plastic containers, in an bag and cold. I could NOT believe this from a Marriott. Room service was essentially takeout. Also, valet is ridiculously expensive $45. They park your car offsite and it takes about 15 min + to retrieve it each time you need it. Real hassle for us. The pool required a wristband that had to be worn daily. A hassle if you just wanted to jump into the hot tub at night.

Karen Washington was super nice at the front desk and she was training another young lady. The young man at Sundries was super nice. Room đ beautiful. Pool so breathtaking. The staff for breakfast was so great. Food super good. EXCELLENT đđž. I can't think of his name. A young bell boy who's working to be a truck driver was a very AWESOME young man. WE HAD AN AMAZING TIME

The view of the pool is nice. Not worth the price as spending twice as much as the other rooms doesnât garner you anything extra.

cleaning of the room was done well, breakfast was GREAT and the service was exceptional at the morning restaurant, and we LOVE the pool with the lazy river!
in the morining, 8am, the cleaning staff wanted to clean the room. we rushed to leave the room and when we came back at 2pm, the room was not cleaned even after we notified the staff that we are leaving the room for a room cleaning. This only happened once but the cleaning staff seamed mad that we did not move out faster. I felt confused by the staff who seemed pushy about cleaning the room but did not clean the room.

The location was very nice and loved my room! Everyone was nice and very friendly.
Water pressure was very low for the shower. The air condition didnât seem to work at night so it was cold in the morning but very hot at night.

Location and amenities are by far the strongest aspects of this property. Great venues surrounding the area and nice restaurants and pool area on site.
There were several details that were overlooked during my stay. A few things; my room service was delayed for nearly an hour and a half, my parking card was deactivated prior to my departure and I was stuck in the parking garage close to 10 minutes waiting for a resolution.

The staff ; Kai specifically was phenomenal. She took lots of pride in her work and went the extra mile on customer service and kindness and thoughtfulness.
I think there should be at minimum complimentary coffee, and tea (not the bad coffee in the rooms), with the Keurig.

Hotel staff were very nice.
Difficult to get WiFi, had to become a member before being allowed to use WiFi at the property. Was an annoying and unnecessary hurdle. Coffee machine very odd. No mini bar. Room service offerings were poor.

They donât tell you the parking cost, the garage says 38.00 the Hotel Charges 50.00 plus nearly 50.00 in taxes plus a resort style fee which they donât disclose. They had no lotions in the room and they offered pillow spray sample which was empty or used the room faced a street and the beds are small⌠it was a hassle to check in and find the room was a scavenger hunt. It just wasnât worth the money paid

We had to pay for parking $45 a day and later after paying the front desk charged $25 additional add extra for taxes Total parking of one day was $80.
No explaining why it went up!
There was more but sadly we wonât return.

Customer service and valet was great! Room was clean, and comfortable!
Really the only thing I didnât like was the water bottle in the room wasnât free. I paid almost 700 bucks for one night and if I were to drink the water it was going to be 8 bucks.. I mean come on

They couldnât take my money from my card. I had to book through Expedia and pay it. Then booking.com still took my money.

We spent most of our time in the pools the liner on the pools was lifting making it difficult to maneuver at times and also borderline unsafe. The hotel rooms are just okay nothing about them stands out and makes them unique to the mariott Marquis with the price I honestly did expect a little more creativity out the room.
There are many areas that could be better we also waited 30-45 minutes for a luggage cart to our room in addition to the complaints above.

The staff was friendly and it was clean. Love the lazy pool. We also loved the breakfast restaurant, staff was friendly and the food was great.
The some of restaurant staff at the bar was rude and we just left and went to our room without ordering due the the rudeness. Put a damper on the night.
