Great location and the breakfast was great with lots of choice - cereals, waffles, cold meats and cheese, breads and cakes.
4.3
We liked the location since all the pick-up point on all our activities and airport transfers is in Bus 12 which is just outside the hotel. It was very convenient for us since we had 4am and 6am pick up time. And also, since our pick up time is so early, we requested if we could have breakfast to go and they prepared it ahead of time. That was one of the highlights of our stay. We liked the clothes drier inside our bathroom, sooo useful. We liked the staff also, very friendly and accommodating.
I can’t think of any.

Great location for walking around Reykjavik. The room was clean with plenty of space and storage for two people. Terrific shower quality and an exceptional breakfast spread. Check-in was also very smooth and the staff friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located in a great area, walking distance to many of the places of interest in Reykjavik. The location was ideal for tour pickup, with the bus stop right outside the hotel (nice to be able to wait inside for your tour pick up). The hotel also has an great breakfast buffet. The staff was very helpful as well. Highly recommend!
Liked everything about it!

it was quiet and the room was beautiful.
the parking wasn’t great
4.3
Good breakfast which was sufficiently managed by the personnel. Personnel was friendly and helpful. The location is somewhat out of the city center and need a bit of walk to see all highlights of Reykjavik.
The rate of the room in relation to the space of the room is somewhat out of proportion.

We enjoyed the cleanliness and comfort of the room as well as the delicious breakfast. We enjoyed the water view from our room. The walk to the Harpa building is only 20 minutes. Check out was at 12.
Regrettably, our experience was marred by the unhelpful attitude displayed by the reception staff, leading to a disappointing overall impression. Interacting with them felt as though we were walking on broken glass. We specifically chose this hotel because they advertised parking facilities. Since it was our final night in Iceland, we had hoped to enjoy a long and sleep in before embarking on our 14-hour journey back home.
However, upon our arrival, we discovered that the parking area was completely full. I approached the reception to inquire about the situation, only to be informed that parking was not guaranteed for all guests and that I would need to find street parking nearby. This meant ensuring that the parking was paid from 9 am onwards to avoid any fines, effectively ruining our plans for a leisurely sleep-in. I expressed my dissatisfaction and pointed out that they were misleading guests by falsely advertising parking as an available option. In response, I received a blunt comment stating that they advertise LIMITED PARKING (not mentioned in the hotel description) and suggesting that I should have booked a hotel farther away if I wanted a guaranteed parking spot. This comment struck me as highly unprofessional, unnecessary, and unhelpful. It forced us to wake up earlier than planned to deal with the parking situation, adding unnecessary stress to our morning. Overall, it was not a matter of paying for parking, but of convenience and fundamental courtesy. We did not experience these values here during our check in or check out.

Bright modern rooms. Very clean and comfortable beds. Black out blinds. Big bathroom, good wifi. Excellent breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff.
Not enough parking

clean and convenient location. Breakfast was great!
very few parking spaces

easy walking to Reykjavik

Clean room, pleasant and helpful staff.
My only complaint would be that the ''traditional Icelandic yoghurt'' (known as skyr), wasn't really traditional as it tasted like stracciatella!
4.3
clean, friendly staff, very good breakfast
Economy rooms are tiny (and at least our room 111 did not have the best use of space)
bathroom without working ventilator and the half shower glass wall only ensures that everything outside the shower gets wet.
4.3
Great for a one night stay. Easy to get to parking nearby and exceptionally clean. The room was small but comfortable. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and something for everyone.
The hotel is bright and airy, and the location is perfect.
Would recommend it and if back again would return.
Cups in the restaurant were small.
4.3
very helpful staff, very clean, comfy beds, great location, nice and quiet, easy bag drop, easy check in and out, nice bar/lounge area, handy car park
perhaps they could do with a bit more space around the breakfast buffet at busy times, and it was hard to avoid the news at breakfast which was not everyone’s preference as.
4.3
New, clean, well presented
No hot breakfast options, very small room, basic facilities with a very small bar area and breakfast served in the lobby area with limited space. All felt a bit travel lodge rather than nice hotel.

this hotel is very clean and the location is great. the breakfast is excellent and complete. The room is a bit small and would need a shower head. I will choose this hotel again for my next visit to Reykjavik.
we loved the balcony of our room

Stayed 2 nights here while in Reykjavik. The room was perfect, very spacious and warm. Shower was amazing. Great selection for breakfast. Staff were really helpful with giving directions to different attractions in the city.
Nothing. It was perfect for my needs

Great hotel and compared to other hotels I researched before booking, I thought it good value for money. Breakfast was fairly basic but more than ample and there was plenty of food available. The hotel and the room was very clean and modern. Reception staff were helpful, especially when trying to arrange our return back to the airport. Perhaps the best thing was just how close bus stop 12 is! With all the trips we had booked plus the airport transfers, it was really convenient to have the stop literally on the door step! All the trips we went on had the option of being collected or dropped off there. It also appeared to be the bus stop that was first on the pick up list for our tour buses (meaning we didn’t have to wait long at all in -15C for the bus to arrive during the half an hour time frame they ask you to wait). For our three trips, bus stop 12 was also the first drop off point so we didn’t have to sit on the bus going to all the other drop off points after the tours had finished. Photo I’ve included shows where the bus stop is and the front of the hotel. There are plenty of eateries near by, which you can get to on foot.
The only thing I would say, which didn’t spoil things I should add, was the room we had was a little on the small side and had no storage/wardrobe, just a hook that took five hangers. With all our winter gear we had, we had to live out of our suitcases. This set up certainly wouldn’t stop me from booking again though.
I’d also advise you take appropriate footwear in the winter! The pavement outside the hotel (like many of the pavements in the city) was covered in 3 inches of solid ice (I’ve included a photo) so was exceptionally slippery. That’s just typical of Iceland though - nothing to do with the hotel!

The location was good for the shopping street (plenty of places to eat & drink) & the bus stop 12 for pick up / drop off for tours & airport transfers was right outside The staff were very good & helpful, the bed was comfortable & breakfast choice good - there was porridge / cereals, fruit/yoghurt, toast, selection of breads/rolls, cooked meats, cheese, pastries....
The space around the bed was quite tight at the foot of the bed & on one side, so had to take it in turns getting round the bed & accessing the bathroom. There was no drawer space (cupboard), only powder cream for hot drinks which was not so nice for tea.
4.3
Very clean and nice hotel. Great location, friendly and helpfull staff. Perfect connection with the airport (with buses).
