Great location looking out towards the Glasgow Botanic Gardens and a hop, skip and a jump from shops (including supermarkets), restaurants and cafes and the Mackintosh House (a must see). Convenient and free parking. Easy check in via the Ambassador Hotel next door.
Attractive rooms with high ceilings, comfy beds and good heating. Clean, modern bathroom.
Great value for money compared to other properties in Glasgow.
There was a lot good about Embassy Apartments but unfortunately we had problems from the start.
1. Many kitchen items required washing to remove crumbs/bits of caked-on food before they could be used.
2. The kitchen lacked some really basic items for self-catering, specifically tea towel and cutting board, which I had to ask for.
3. Despite there being beds for three, there were random numbers of kitchen items and nothing matched.
4. The electric kettle was weirdly tiny, with enough for only about 2 cups of tea. I’ve never seen one like it.
5. Of the 4 wall lights, three bulbs were dead. Reception replaced these at our request.
6. The tissue box cover contained an empty tissue box.
7. The legs of the dining chairs were so rickety, they seemed about to fall off. When I turned them upside down to check, it was clear that a screwdriver would have fixed the problem. Same for the kitchen pots with handles in danger of falling off. Just needed tightening with a screwdriver.
8. The icing on the cake was the hot water running out while my daughter was in the shower, and before we had washed up our load of dishes. After an investigation by the manager, it was decided that we’d be allocated a new room the next morning (as it was late). The new room was considerably smaller, with no couch and no room for more than one person in the kitchen at once. (Weirdly though, there was a bigger kettle and a tray of coffee, tea and biscuits, although only two of the latter despite there being three people.) The upshot is that the owner agreed to my request for a partial refund for both the room downgrade and all the inconvenience, which was good. (Later, the hot water also ran out in the new room after 2 short showers!)
It was, in fact, a pretty nice place and really good value, and would have been worth more if the room lived up to the promise of it. As it was, there was no attention to detail and very poor housekeeping and maintenance which really let the place down.

Great location and very affordable. Lovely staff, clean and comfortable. Great for exploring the West End. Parking is also a bonus.

Location was perfect. Room size was good and the bed was comfortable.
Request for 2 single beds but had a double. Bathroom door too close to bed.

The room was great value for money. We’ll book again. The room was clean, well presented, with plenty of space. We were greeted by a friendly and informative concierge. The location is spot on for exploring the West End, being mere minutes from the Botanic Gardens and Byres Road.
The only negative was the breakfast. The person on shift did their best but it was largely undercooked. On a return visit we would get breakfast at one of the many local restaurants and cafes.

The area is very attractive, great location for nearby restaurants, shops Botanic Gardens etc. buildings beautiful, and very clean and smart within. Staff helpful and friendly.
Have stayed there before and will return
Everything succeeded expectation.

The location was excellent and right next to the Botanic Gardens. I could easily access buses or the subway with a small walk. There is great grocery shopping nearby with lots of options. It was easy to get to the city center on the bus. I cooked every night in the kitchen which was completely adequate and had pots and pans, etc. The bathroom was very nice. The staff were very kind and helpful. I really appreciated the electric plug with the usb outlets. That turned out to be very usefuI on this trip. My particuIar room did not have very many steps leading to it. This was a major bonus as some places have several flights to go up to get to your room. I will stay here again without question.
There was nothing I didn't like. Note that there is no freezer compartment in the fridge, just fyi for grocery shopping.

Location is great. Nice area with shops, bars, restaurants nearby. The kitchenette was equipped with everything we needed to make simple meals - microwave, fridge, stove top, oven and pots / pans and utensils.
The heater stopped working twice. Staff were able to fix it, but it was a bit of a pain. The apartments aren’t as big as the pictures; however, it was perfectly adequate. We had requested a twin but ended up having to share a double, so be prepared to get cosy!

the location was outstanding as was the staff.
the room was in the basement with no views at all. The pictures provided showed large windows. I asked for a different room but was told one wasn’t available.

Great location. Very quiet at night. Good value. Lovely big room.

The staff were very friendly, the room was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Location was great, very convenient and lovely to be so close to the river and botanic gardens.
There was a light on the small lawn outside that illuminated the building, however it shines directly onto the ground floor window, and the curtains didn’t really block it out. It was very inconvenient for trying to sleep.

great room and location.
car parking a bit difficult. would be better if reception took details of those who park there so can easily get cars moved as struggled to get out

The staff were very friendly, room was a decent size, bed was very comfortable. And there was also extra blankets if you needed them. The breakfast was excellent
I think the only negative was the light coming through the gaps in the door from the hallway. It wouldn’t stop me from booking again

The building is beautiful, room was very clean, bedding was clean and beds were so comfortable, the staff are so helpful and lovely also brilliant location in the west end and a 5 minute walk from byres road
The fridge in our room was leaking and left a foul smell, but we reported it and the staff sorted it out, other than that can’t complain
