A fuir absolument

Amazing view from the room! Really comfortable beds and everything was super clean. We only stayed one night before catching the ferry, but I wish we had stayed longer. There are a lot of animals on the property (several cats and dogs) so if you don’t like animals this won’t be the right place for you. The bus from Tagbilaran dropped us off right in front and it’s very easy to catch a tricycle from the road if you’re heading to the ferry.
Nothing.

poloha chatičky u moře, hezký výhled. Pan majitel nám zapůjčil potápěčské boty. Díky! Přímo na místě lze šnorchlovat. Ve vybavení varná konvice.
poměrně opotřebené úplně všechno

Paseo Del Mar is a perfect combination of island comfort and local vibes. The host, Jesse, grew up locally and is a wealth of information on the island, Filipino culture, and things to do near by. The staff was very friendly and helpful. my accommodations were a dream. My own little ‘house’ right on the water with waves lapping at the sea wall. Clean and cozy, I felt right at home!
Paseo has many friendly rescue cats and dogs who enhanced the feeling of being at home and on the island for me. They are very well taken care of and loved!
I also went on a dive with the Poseidon Deep Water which is on the same property, you literally walk down the sea wall onto the dive boat, can’t get anymore convenient! If you’re not into diving, you can also snorkel right in-front of the property!
Overall, Paseo Del Mar is a gem! Near to town but not touristy, comfortable and clean, and RIGHT on the water. It’s a bargain for the location. I stayed there before a work event and then returned after and will be back again in the future!

Paseo is a great place to stay if you want to be by the beach and surrounded by lovely rescue animals. The whole place has a homely feel and situated on the beach which makes it perfect for all types of travelers.
I’ve spent a week here before in early March and came back again! Jesse, the owner is lovely and helpful. If there is something you need, you can ask him to assist you. If you have an extra day or two, go diving! The corals are beautiful and I believe it’s a hidden gem of Jagna.
Highly recommended😊
Suggestions for travelers
- If you’re sensitive to sound, the place is close to the main road so it is unavoidable with some truck and car noises. Personally, this did not bother me at all.
- If you’re afraid of dogs or cats, don’t be! Paseo canine&feline residents are very friendly, harmless, and fully vaccinated! They’re a real joy to be around.

it is amazing place to stay!
Jesse, the owner, did everything for me to feel comfortable- he cooked delicious meals and went snorkelling with me! The place is full of lovely rescue dogs and cats and has great atmosphere!
There is nice swimming/ snorkelling area just step from the property, all the staff is great and cheap and tasty food to buy on site.
Room and the bathroom are clean and comfortable.
There is a quick and easy access to Jagna town and the port.
I stayed for three nights and coming back for more in few days 😊
There is absolutely nothing to dislike!

Lovely place with sweet rescued cats and dogs. The owner was very friendly and gave us good advice about the ferry to go to Camiguin and places to eat around as we arrived in the evening and their kitchen was closed.

The location is very close to Jagna center, 15PHP tricycle (each) to get there and back and everybody in the city knows where the place is. Daisy the manager is amazing and really helped us with everything we needed, and the rest of the staff was amazing as well.
Its right on the beach, and you can open your day with the beautiful view of the ocean. The food there was amazing and came with big portions! The WiFi connection was great and stable. The tap water is OK for brushing your teeth, no need to use bottled water.
If you are a dog/cat person, YOU WOULD LOVE THIS PLACE! They have 6 dogs (not stray dogs, its theirs) that are super friendly and clean (and of course vaccinated). Oh yea, they have cats too. Not a cat person myself but they were friendly as well :)
Its near the main 'highway', if you're a light sleeper it could possibly be a bit noisy for you at around 7am.
other than that, I loved every second there.

host and staff are very friendly and helpful. accommodation is near the places i wanted to visit (waterfalls and caves). town centre and port (going to Camiguin) is 5 mins away by tricycle. wifi connection and phone reception was weak inside the room i stayed in (which was perfect for me as i wanted to have less screen time) this may be one thing you need to consider if you travel for work. however, you can stay in their kitchen area with the sea view for better connection.

It is no other place like this. Warm welcomed by resident doggies and cats. Right on the beach, food was absolutely delicious, and couldn't praise the hosts more for their kind and warm hearts ❤️🤗

Very accomodating.
Not 24 hours checkin.

Beachfront airy lazy mornings, tho the beach is not for regular lazy swimming. Tide is strong and high in the mornings and waterline is too far off in the afternoons, good for sea urchin sightings under coral cover
Like all beaches close to the community, you will find that the water smells off

friendly owner and staff, really helpfull. Lovely terrace where you can sit and watch the sea. Good breakfast.
Mattress was not comfy for me. Really soft/light for me and got a backache

We've stayed here several times, and never gets old, we keep coming back! The innkeeper / owner and staff are so helpful, friendly, accommodating! Right by the sea, you always get the fresh breeze. Super convenient location, less than 5 minutes away from town where the ferry station, market, and business establishments are.
A big plus if you love dogs and cats, the place has a number of adorable, furry friends. :)
