The area is lovely! great amenities!
we stayed at room 503, on our first night it was okay. but after it was checked by house keeping, on our 2nd day. we have had bed bug bites. transferred to room 307, unfortunately there was a cockroach

Perfect conditions for rest, perfect room with the excellent bathroom, wonderful swimming pools, preparing gluten-free dishes for the child, special thanks to the chef, helpful staff.
Rental of bikes should be free of charge, especially since we were not allowed to go outside the hotel

the villa with pool was great (even though a bit too much chlorine) and the view we had was amazing. staff was very supportive and friendly (and slow). good variety of activities available.
activity equipment outdated. gym equipment sticky and badly maintained. owners were visiting and our booked activities got cancelled without letting us know in advance due to owner meetings. breakfast was very bad and only 1 glass of juice per person - everything else was at an extra cost. wine was poor quality. doesn’t match 4-star expectations. no international restaurants nearby.

The room and facilities
6.0
The room and grounds are fantastic, as is the facilities. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They would be a credit to any establishment. I couldn't praise them enough. From the guys clearing the beach of seaweed, the gardeners clearing the leaves, (a thankless task for both in stormy conditions), resturant staff that accommodate your every request with efficency and a smile. And the gym staff and Michael (very knowledgeable). Working long hours but nothing was too much trouble.
We broke a glass in the room and were charged. 250 peso for a standard tumbler!!! but accidents happen.
The fact they wanted to charge me for hot tea for breakfast... I could have had iced tea for free 🤔 I'm English, need hot breakfast tea to function 😅🤣.
Requested tea bags to our room on a wet and windy Christmas day about 10am, One and a half hours later, 3 teabags arrive for two Brits, to last the day, really!!
Coffee free, tea bags (standard) must be more valuable than rocking horse ****.
Wonderful bath and shower, insufficient hot water for either to enjoy.
Great facilities, why be so tight on such basics that are so cheap to supply??

Pool villa was excellent. Great location.

The resort was always presentable. Everything was accessible and well organised. It was the friendly, helpful staff that made our stay memorable.
It’s not that we didn’t like it but a room for improvement would be to have variety for the breakfast buffet. We stayed for 4 days and had the same breakfast everyday. Since we lived overseas for years, would have been nice to eat different local dishes.

The property is beautiful, well taken care of and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.
Be prepared for a 2 1/2 to 3 hour ride to/from the airport. We used the airport service provided by the resort and it was great - very comfortable and the driver was very nice.
We were a bit disappointed that they did not have a breakfast buffet as advertised, but we understand that we were there during the off-season and that is was just not feasible to have a buffet for the few guest that were there. The breakfast was still delicious and plentiful.
