If you visiting Cardiff , definitely try CF Eleven

The Location for Cardiff City Centre is excellent, one of the best roads in Cardiff Loads of local amenities, cafes , restaurants and Bars My hotel room was good value for money The room was same as picture on Booking.com Thank you to Jason and all the staff for making my stay so comfortable

Honestly can’t knock it , enjoyed my stay in Cardiff and had a very comfy room to return too

No staff therefore no atmosphere, but adequate bedroom

Arranged to enter property by text with the proprietor as there was no one at the property. No breakfast on offer. Didn’t see anyone gor the 3 nights! However, I believe the owner may have had a family problem as the bar downstairs was closed. Therefore very quiet which suited me as it happened. Disappointed there was no breakfast on offer. The room was big, airy, and clean. The bed was very comfortable.

No staff around at all. Felt I was the only person in the whole house. No breakfast

Loved the vibe of the hotel, especially for the price, better than an air bnb.

The staff member was very lovely. The room was great, bed super comfortable.

The bathroom fan was a bit noisy but not a big deal.

Good location for exploring Cardiff

Good location in the city, some good independant cafes (+ Coop) on roads nearby. On road parking not a problem. Large park (with parkrun) near. Bottled water in (good sized) room.

Some details in the room needed addressing, this is very room specific and they may have been put right by now (failing bathroom light, broken bathroom door catch, noisy bathroom fan- which ran on for 10 minutes).If we had been there longer we would have brought the the bathroom issues to the attention of the management.

Perishingly cold, clearly no-one checks the rooms for comfort.

I arrived back after my evening out to find the room uninhabitably cold. One of the coldest nights of the year, the radiator was stone cold, it had clearly been off for many hours. It was after midnight, there was no-one around to ask (theres no reception). I'm not someone who suffers from the cold, it takes a lot to bother me, but this was dreadful. I got into bed fully clothed, dozed fitfully until 5 then got in my car and left. Horrible. £90 badly spent.

Great bar, great food, friendly staff but very disappointing as a hotel

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Bar looks amazing. The food we had was delicious, the only thing that let it down was the room.

First, on Booking.com it said breakfast was included. When we arrived I asked when breakfast started, as we had an early start, and the barman said oh, you dont get breakfast, that is a mistake on the website and we should get it sorted out! Our room was on the ground floor (nice room, comfortable and clean) but it opened directly on to the bar area. This meant that until the bar closed we were disturbed by music (to be fair it wasnt thumping loud but did come straight through our door) and people chatting outside. The door to the bar toilets was opposite our room door, and every time someone went into or out of the toilets the door slammed shut loudly. I am a reasonably light sleeper, so I was unable to get to sleep until the bar closed which was later than I wanted. Outside our window there was a faulty sign light (neon?) which every few minutes flashed quite brightly. The windows didnt have blackout blinds so that was also quite disturbing. I didn't talk to the staff about this that evening as I understood the hotel was full, so we coudn't move room, they weren't going to close the bar early for me and they probably couldn't fix the light, so I decided not to disturb them that night but to speak in the morning. However, as we were up early there was no one to speak to so we just left. I believe they have other rooms upstairs which I suspect would be fine, but they really shouldn't let the ground floor room, it just isn't OK.

Great location, Great room & Great staff

Lovely, clean and modern room. Had everything we needed for a short stay, the bed and pillows were really comfy too. Staff were brilliant, polite and helpful

Pleasant stay with friendly staff

Cozy and friendly staff , good hot water and heating , good atmosphere in the bar . Great location for coach station.

Appliances in room a little outdated, smelt a little stuffy in the room and could hear noises from adjacent rooms and upstairs .

Loved the decor very clean and comfortable staff really friendly and helpful beautifull garden area would highly recomend the gin bar 😄 and would definitely stay again

Not that I didn't like it but they don't do breakfast but there is plenty places to eat in the city

We loved everything about the property it was clean, comfortable and the staff were amazing I just wish we had had time to stay to eat in the restaurant
