Mike was a great host with excellent communication. The space was clean and roomy. We really enjoyed our stay, the only thing I’d change is it was to short. We will be back!

This property is quaint and cute! So nice for a family to spread out. Just a short walk to the beach and lots of great restaurants just a step away. Walked to get ice cream every night!

We had a lovely stay at Mike's house. It was very clean and spacious.
A couple of things to note:
- The bathroom is off of the dining room, which is on the first floor, while the bedrooms are on the second floor. If you're someone who uses the bathroom frequently in the middle of the night, you may not like this arrangement.
- It is an old house, so the floors are not flat.
We had a nice stay at this house and would stay again.

We were just here for a couple of days and this place was perfect. Walking distance to bakeries, beaches, and lighthouses. Don't miss Scratch Bakery, Willard Beach, Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse, the Portland Head Light, or the Lobster Shack at Two Lights (we Ubered there)! Mike was a great host.

We had a wonderful stay! The check in was easy, the location was great, the beds were super comfortable, and there was a great set up in the 2nd /3rd bedroom (they are connected) for our 3 kids (ages 3, 4, and 6). We had the 3 year old on the trundle which he loved and the middle child got her "own room" which was connected to the 2nd bedroom. The setup was great. Note: we are out of the baby stage but the master bedroom has a closet large enough to fit a pack n play if that would be helpful for anyone to know :)
What a great visit! Make sure you get donuts from The Cookie Jar (apple cider was AMAZING) and an oatmeal cream pie from Rosemont Market! Also if your kids are like mine, they LOVED jumping from rock to rock all the way to the lighthouse at Spring Point Lighthouse. All of these are so close by, as is a cute little playground that we scootered to. Maine vacay was a huge success!

We loved our stay. The cottage is so comfortable. Loved the air conditioning in the bedroom and all of the space. My husband and I had a great visit with his mom in this beautiful cottage. Plenty of room to complete a puzzle on a rainy day. Walking distance to David’s, Scratch Bakery & the beach. Our host was also so nice and excellent at communicating.

Despite the hot weather we enjoyed every day of our stay.
Didn't realize there was no central air so window AC was adequate for upstairs bedrooms. Unusally hot for Maine, not the fault of the host. Very hospitable and available for all our needs. Very easy to work with. Portland hot spots very short drive. Awesome bakery and coffee within walking distance.

This was an ideal location and setup for our group! Five minutes to Portland Head Light, we loved going to Willard Beach, Scratch Bagels, and downtown Portland. The washer and dryer were really convenient and the window AC units kept it cool on 85 degree days.

We had a great time in South Portland (1st visit to Maine) and spent actually all day outdoor (beaches, ports, boat trip, hiking). Our hosts were very kind and always responded immediately. Thank you for the hospitality!
There was just one thing we would have liked to know beforehand: The cottage is on the main road.

Great location and a cute house!
This house is located in a great location! In walking distance to the beach, coffee, ice cream and food! An easy drive into Portland too. The house provided plenty of space for our family of 5 and I’d recommend it to others.

Perfect spot
This house is perfectly situated, extremely clean and very comfortable. I have stayed with friends at many different places in and around Portland over the past 20 years, and this house was by far the best all around. Most responsive property manager I have ever had as well. Looking forward to staying here again in the future!

Location, location, location!
Perfectly located between Omi's, David's 388, and DiPietro's Market. Walking distance to Willard beach, Spring Point Light House, Bug Light Park and a handful of other restaurants and bakeries. Short drive to Old Port and Fort Williams Park/Portland Head Light.
Very clean rental with plenty of living space on the first floor and two comfortable bedrooms on the second floor.
Owners are super responsive and easy to communicate with.

A welcoming and comfortable gem that is close to everything!
We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay in Portland and this property was a big reason for that. The location could not be beat. It was close to everything -- a short drive to downtown and the waterfront, close to Cape Elizabeth and lighthouses, walkable to the beach, breakfast, and ice cream, and surrounded by good restaurants. From the minute we entered, it was immediately clear that everything was comfortable and inviting -- the host thoughtfully left a nice note and recommended restaurants. The property also addressed our biggest concern given COVID-19 as everything was comfortably CLEAN and spotless, with open windows and good ventilation when we arrived.
Mike, the host, could not have been nicer. When we locked ourselves out accidentally the first night there (oops!), he arrived promptly and kindly to let us in right away (sorry Mike and thanks again!). We had a great time.

Maine vacation
I would recommend this property. The house was cute and larger than expected. It was clean and the property owner was accessible. It is a busy road, which we knew in advance. The neighborhood is quiet overall, but downtown Portland is a short drive away. The nearby beach is very nice and easy to walk to. The house has everything you need, so you don't have to bring so much from home. Went to Freeport one day, only about 25 minute drive. Plenty to do in the area if you do a little research.

Great getaway
My family had a great getaway to South Portland. The house was perfect for our family of 4. We enjoyed the coffee shop next door (Omi’s) and the short walk to the beach even in December. We would definitely come back again.

Nice!
Nice location for walking to so many great restaurants and a fantastic small grocery/bakery- Rosemont Market. Cute house with plenty of room for everyone, we were 6. Close to the road, so a bit noisy, but this is minor compared to all the pluses. Less than 10 minutes and you are in downtown Portland.

Great home for
We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the toys and games available to entertain our little ones while we were at the house. The property was clean, centrally located (we especially loved having Omi’s next door) and perfect for getting into downtown Portland or exploring south Portland. The owners were responsive and accommodating.

Great Fam Home for the Week
Great location and home, easy walk to Willard Square and Willard Beach. Omi's coffee next door was a huge bonus too, great coffee and food. Quick responses to all our questions. Didn't realize it was that close to the street but parking was in the back and side door worked out with the kids in tow.

Liked staying in south Portland vs downtown- will tent here again

Charming home in a great location!
We just came back from a week long vacation in South Portland. The home located in a great area, right next door to Omi's coffee shop, down the street from a playground, Willard Beach and the delicious Scratch Bakery. The home itself was very spacious and we were very comfortable with 4 adults and 1 child. The kitchen has all of the essentials, so we were able to mostly eat in. Dining area is big and bright, and living room has two large couches which makes lounging in the evenings very comfortable. The backyard has a fire pit, which we ended up using almost nightly. The owner, Mike, was very responsive and helpful during the booking process. We visit Portland every year and we will absolutely be back!

Great stay in South Portland
We stayed in this beautiful and well-kept house for a few nights during a New England road trip. The house was spotless, entry was a breeze, and the owner was thoughtful and responsive. Beds were super comfortable with very soft sheets, and we enjoyed an evening in hanging out on the spacious first floor. The coffee shop Omi is literally next door and serves up great coffee and breakfast, plus they sell beer and wine. The location is just a ten minute ride into downtown Portland, so this house works great if you want to be a little renoved to relax and have space (nice yard, too!). Finally it's a short walk to Willard Beach, which is a quiet and relaxing nook of water and also leads to some lighthouses and other scenic points. Great stay!

Charming cottage in South Portland
This was a great spot for our family to stay while visiting other family in the area. Loved Omi's coffee shop right next door. Cottage Street is a main road and can be noisy at night but the air conditioning worked well to soften it. Overall, it worked out great for us.
