I won’t stay again in this hotel

Location

I had high expectations for my stay at Sedona Suites Ho Chi Minh City due to its excellent location and overall positive reviews. However, my experience was overshadowed by the lack of flexibility from the hotel management regarding my reservation. I initially booked for three nights but had to cut my stay short to two nights due to unforeseen circumstances. I communicated this with the hotel and asked for an adjustment to my booking. Despite contacting Booking.com twice and them emailing the hotel to explain my situation, the hotel’s reservations manager insisted on charging me for the full three nights without any flexibility. While the location of the hotel is fantastic and most of the staff go above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable, the lack of understanding and rigid approach to my situation left me quite disappointed. Unfortunately, this lack of customer care has deterred me from staying here again. I appreciate the efforts of the staff, but management’s handling of my reservation issue was not up to the standard I expected.

Relaxing conclusion of our holiday in Vietnam.

Excellent located in Saigon Centre - Takashimaya Mall. Very convenient if you want to hop out for some shoppping or a quick bite in the Food Court. The panorama view in the Lobby (on the 28th floor) and in the rooms is stunning! Almost all the staff is attentive and friendly, except for the people at the reception desk. Our room with kitchen is very well equiped with plenty of kitchen utensils.

Since Takashimaya Mall is so popular, there is always a traffic jam around the building. Ordering a Grab taxi can take somewhat longer. The staff at the reception desk often are staring on their mobile/computer and don't even look up when guests pass by. When they do: they often don't greet.

Nobody Does it Better

The staff are outstanding, I am so glad we decided to have breakfast at the hotel, combination of both Vietnamese and western large selection of great breakfast as well as made to order egg and Asian specialities in an iconic setting looking of the river and city. Loved happy hour and had the most fantastic young lady, Vi, serve us on three occasions. Location is great, big department store next door, and the Saigon market across the street.

In general, the hotel room, location and service are very good.

Doesn't have too much choice for breakfast but quality is good.

The slipper in the room is very quite poor quality and room service never changes it.

Exceptional

The location is very strategic, connected to Takashimaya shopping centre. Lots of food and shopping places. The apartment is also equipped with cutleries, cooking equipments, and plates if you just want to stay in the room and wind down. The facilities are also excellent, swimming pool, sauna, gym, games room, and playground for the kids.

the staff was rude and not accommodating. Their AC in the room wasn’t working and the staff suggested that it will get fixed the next morning. we requested for a breakfast box due to an early morning flight which they denied and after an escalation agreed to give us sandwiches . breakfast options are very average for the price that they charge .
