Immaculate and friendly
Was no electricity in deluxe room which we booked and the garden room we was moved to the shower temperature gauge seemed broken as it was stuck on extremely hot

Location was lovely, but the hotel was difficult to find as not well signed. The room was lovely, beautifully decorated and just what we needed for a couple of nights The bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the bottles of water and the nice thick towels.
No breakfast was offered.
Communication! Trying to find the place and trying to get in to it! We tried ring the hotel to find out where it was, and got an answering service. Left a message, but received no reply. When we arrived, we rang the doorbell, but no answer. I then tried both of the mobile numbers offered for "Loulou" and "Sophie", but again went to voicemail. I left messages on both numbers asking for a call back but didn't receive any. My husband rang the doorbell again but no answer. We were about to start ringing round to find another hotel to stay in when a man called Frankie appeared, and made some excuse about the doorbell not working - but I didn't hear an apology! None of this created a very good first impression of the hotel or its owners/management. Frankie said that if we needed anything we should knock on the French windows of the house, but we tried this several times during our stay without any success. The room was very clean, but when my husband opened a bedside drawer he found several opened condom wrappers, which the cleaners should have found and removed before we arrived. The shower tray seemed to be slow to drain, and it was difficult to get the water cool enough to be comfortable for a shower.

Comfy, quiet, location - be nice in the summer
Shower nearly scalded me, couldn’t adjust away from really hot….Needs sorting out

Charming place, very clean and good value for money.
The late check-in time was a bit of a challenge, but the wonderful hostess LouLou sorted me out in the end😀

I loved the stay at the willowford. It was clean and quiet, exceeded my expectations. It’s perfect for a little overnight stay or a romantic getaway with your partner. Woburn is a beautiful place and Milton Keynes and the safari park is not very far away so lots to do and see
The only downside I have to say is that the gate for parking is closed and it’s just hassle to open and close it but that’s because I am lazy and not because it’s a bad thing lol

location and late check in availability
Wifi access always seems to be a problem, When travelling with no roaming its difficult to keep up with plans and communications.

Gorgeous room, beautifully decorated. It was all very clean and all the bedding and towels smelt lovely. Lou Lou was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here and venturing out to the pub up the road too.

Would highly recommend this little hotel. We had a garden room which looked out over the lovely garden and beyond. We were greeted by LouLou’s daughter with a glass of Prosecco while Loulou was cutting the grass 😂
Really friendly people, made us feel at home and relaxed as soon as we got there. We ordered a continental breakfast which was lovely and went to the local pub for dinner. Pub is a five minute walk away, very welcoming and lovely food.

Nestled in a tranquil rural area, the lovely location featured apartments with a picturesque view of a pretty garden. The room was comfortable and inviting, offering a perfect blend of modern amenities and rustic charm. What made the experience even more special was the owner's warm and friendly nature, always ready to accommodate guests' needs and provide helpful recommendations. A serene setting, where the beauty of the countryside and the owner's hospitality made for an unforgettable stay.

Stayed at The Willowford for 2 nights. The location is so pretty and quiet, there is a pub 5 minutes walk away.
The rooms were well equipped for everything you’d need, bed very comfortable and the laundry smelled divine.
We didn’t have breakfast, but you can order a continental breakfast upon check in.
The host Loulou is absolutely lovely and greeted us at the door.
Lovely outdoor area to enjoy (weather permitting).
We did not visit the tea room as we were visiting family a couple of miles away so ate out all the time.
Plenty of parking at the property.
Would recommend this lovely little hotel, peaceful, quiet and very comfortable.

Nothing.

The style and cleanliness of the room. We loved that the tv was hidden behind a picture. The friendly phone manner of LouLou plus communication before was excellent. The quietness of the village and house. Easy to find and plenty of car parking spaces .
Would have preferred a shower rather than just a bath.
Would have liked to be asked about breakfast when checking in. I completely missed that it wasn't included so had I of been asked about it beforehand, I would have gladly accepted and paid.

Nothing - it was all lovely

The location, the rooms face the courtyard and are very quiet and peaceful.
Breakfast was perfect and the tea room very nice and cosy.
Our host let us in at midday even check in was not until 4pm so we could get a shower and be ready for an appointment.
I would definitely come back!
If we have to point something, the bathroom quite small and with no windows

Lovely rooms and furnishings. Friendly host who answered our queries quickly. Beautiful rural setting with an excellent pub/restaurant within walking distance.
Cash was required for breakfast payment, but only told this on the morning of check out; had to do a 25 minute round-trip in to Milton Keynes to get cash. Wifi/TV connection was a little unreliable.
