Cosy and comfortable cottage in a beautiful setting. Feels like a well loved home rather than an impersonal Airbnb

Cosy. comfortable cottage, with lots of character. Really well equipped kitchen. Great location, beautiful setting.

Heating settings seemed erratic coming on before we got up and going off in the evening when we got back from a day out.

We had a wonderful and very busy two weeks exploring the area.

The location is excellent with beautiful views across the Dee Valley. The house was comfortable and well equipped, and full met our needs. The cottage served as an excellent base from which we toured the area.

Nothing to dislike.

Beautiful views, great location, quirky house

The house is big and spacious. The garden is absolutely beautiful, with lovely views. Really peaceful property. Good amenities. The locality of house is great, walking distance to a park, a little train station and walks by the river. 10 minute drive from llangollen town. The bedroom facing the garden, has amazing views and a comfy bed. The host is really lovely and easy to contact. Good value property!

The house smelt musty in some of the rooms, the bed facing the road was uncomfortable and creaked every time you moved. Unfortunately the bathroom window was left open when we arrived, so there was loads of insects in the bathroom, which made it a bit difficult as we wanted to close the window to not attract more, but also wanted them to have an exit. Although there is one stairgate provided, ideally there needs to be two as the stairs are steep. Unfortunately the bath was out of use whilst we stayed, which we hadnt been made aware of til we arrived, which would be fine in usual circumstances but our son struggles with showers so it would have been helpful to know this in advance.

Wi-Fi not accessible with provided code, Wi-Fi was working and visible to devices, .but neither the provided code nor the one on the router was accepted.

We are grateful for the wonderful time spent at the property.

The location is great; so is the garden. The house is equipped with nearly everything someone would need in a kitchen, living room and bathroom.

The only thing we didn’t like was the bed mattresses, which we found too springy and the loose bed frame in the smaller bedroom.

Lovely view from sitting room

Plenty of room for 2 people, good hot water, good TV system. Nice garden. Good bathroom.

When I checked on the towels etc I was told to bring my own toilet paper! (it was supplied, but very poor quality). Some oven ware was very dirty. Second bedroom very small, main bedroom bed was quite small, plenty of room for a bigger one. Steps down to front door not mentioned. Gas boiler was very smelly. Missing lightbulbs, and cooker hood very greasy and did not work.

Relaxing, just what the doctor ordered

The location and views were stunning. It was a good mixture of modern and traditional

Price was slightly higher than we would have liked would have skipped past on site if we didn't want something last minute
