The host was very friendly and kind to us. The cottage is lovingly furnished and offers every comfort. Only the view of the beach is limited. You can use a golf cart (not free), which is really great to go to the mini market, restaurant, beach etc.. We enjoyed our stay.

We arrived and were picked up by Anita and she did a quick tour and gave us some hints of things we should do and see. We had talked with her in advance and she arranged a boat rental for us. We also rented a golf cart from her and all of this made for an absolutely perfect vacation. We can’t wait to return

A well maintained cottage with very accommodating hosts. Anita and Theodore were very helpful picking us up at the airport, arranging a boat rental and making sure any questions were answered. Rent their gulf cart for sure to explore the island. You will be a 2 minute boat ride to Thunderball Grotto and 5 minute boat ride to pig beach. Excellent snorkeling in the area as well. The most beautiful waters I have ever seen. Highly recommend.

This cottage is clean and comfortable. The hosts are very quick to respond and provided transportation to/from airport. It is a very short walk to the Yacht Club for yummy meals. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to plan another trip to Staniel Cay!

Thankyou for having us! It was my husband and son's 1st time to experiance the exumas. So happy to have found you! Everything was better than perfect! Ive traveled to Staniel several times working as a stew on different boats, but have never stayed on the island. Boat rental was a great boston whaler! We traveled all over, but we could have stayed another day or 2! Caught and made the sweetest conch salad! Drank rum, and gin and coconut milk at little farmers cay the last day. What a beautiful place you have! We hope our son Merrick 💙 meets your son Merrick someday! Lets be pen pals!

Cozy cottage is just that.. perfect sized cottage comfortable for two people. Excellent communication, comfortable bed, the internet service for the tv works perfectly. Two beach chairs and a small cooler to take to the beach are available. The AC works very well. Looking forward to going back.

We absolutely loved our stay. First off, Staniel Cay is a small island. You could opt to walk or take a golf cart anywhere you go. The owners have an excellent option for a golf cart if that’s what you want. The house is in great shape. It’s clean and comfortable with the help of an AC unit. We had all the convinces of home so we were very impressed. Anita and Theodore are very attentive and communicative. We would highly recommend using them to anyone.
Staniel Cay:
There is not a lot of food options on Staniel Cay. The SC Yacht Club can be very busy and to eat off the dinner menu, you’ll need to make reservations. The other options on the island will require pre orders. So don’t expect to be able to walk up and order food at the drop of a hat. There is a Liquormat at the bottom of the hill from the house. You can get beer ($70 case), liquor or do your laundry. There are a few convenience stores on the island if you want to get your own food. We highly recommend booking a boat excursion. There’s several dining options just a 5 minute boat ride away. Take a day or two to relax by visiting the various beaches on the island via golf cart.
Air Travel:
Flamingo Air was the most convenient option to book where we were coming from. Just keep in mind that they run several routes and can run late. We missed our connecting flight in Nassau that caused us several hours of delay. There are plenty of other options flying into Staniel Cay.

Absolutely beautiful place! The decoration is charming. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook including sharp knives. The island is absolutely beautiful, quiet, and relaxing. Our hosts were so kind and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Hope to come back soon!

From the moment we took off from Ft Lauderdale on Makers Air, we knew we had chosen the perfect trip. Easy communication with Anita and Theodore made everything go smoothly. Golf cart is decadent ❤️ a must have, and so well kept. Cottage is so simple and comfortable. We were there 2 weeks and it met all our needs. Get a boat from Dreko! We were visiting friends on a 'round the world' sailing journey so wanted to be near Staniel Cay Yacht Club. The location was perfect, on a hill overlooking the harbor, a five minute walk from the yacht club (a great place for a meal or drink). The house itself is ideal for two - clean, comfortable and 'cottagy' in the best sense of the word. Anita and Theodore are very responsive, unobtrusive hosts. More importantly, they are kind people! We couldn't have asked for more and hope we can go back some day.

We had a very nice 3 night stay at the Cozy Cottage. A short walk down the hill to The Yacht Club and beach. We took the golf cart 2 of the days to explore Staniel Cay as we had never been there before. Theodore was at the airport waiting for us upon arrival and took us back for our return flight. The cottage was exactly what we expected. Clean, comfortable, and close to the action. We really enjoyed the hammock where we had our own happy hour. Very secluded. Highly recommend and are making plans to return for a longer stay.

Stanial Cay and the Exumas are beautiful. There were a couple of bumps in the trip but they were sorted out quickly and efficiently. If you go in the off season make sure to confirm that everything is open. It is also best if one of your party is a seaman and you can rent your own boat. We went at the end of September. The weather was perfect and hardly anyone else was there, perfect.

Anita and Theo were fantastic, ensuring that everything was in order and Anita even picked us up at the yacht club so we didn’t have to walk! Their hospitality and attention to detail made me feel truly welcomed and cared for. Do yourself a favor and get the golf cart, it’s the nicest on the island and you will need it as the cottage sits up a steep hill.
The cottage’s interior was tastefully decorated with a New England nautical flair, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, making my stay incredibly comfortable.
Leaving the cozy cottage was bittersweet, as we created memories that will stay with us forever. If you’re looking for an unforgettable island getaway, this VRBO rental is an absolute gem. My husband and I had such a great time visiting Staniel Cay and staying at Honeycomb Cottage. Anita was a pleasure to work with and was extremely responsive with any questions or requests we had before and during our stay. The cottage is perfectly suited for two; the air blows cold, the water ran well, the kitchen is well appointed; it looks just like all of the photos online. We rented Anita and Theodore’s golf cart which was much better than any of the rentals we encountered. Both the pink and the blue markets had everything we needed for the week. We rented a 17’ Boston whaler from Dreko Chamberlain which is a must do while in the Exumas. We visited new beaches every day and were able to relax in the sunshine which was just what we needed. We will definitely return to stay here in the future!

we couldnt have been happier with the little yellow house! location was perfect (walking distance to liquormat (laundry & liquor) and staniel cay yacht club. house was very well laid out and decorated. kitchen was stocked with all necessary silverware and cooking items. the hosts Anita & Theodore were amazing from picking us up & dropping us off at airport and everything inbetween.
here are a few things that I learned while on stainel cay that may be helpful:
1) buy liquor & beer from the liquormat. price is so mich better.
2) rent the golf cart with the house. it is one of the nicest on the island and when we were there every golf cart was rented.
3) take golf cart to pirate trap beach. so nice!
4) there is a lady named deal that makes conch salad at beach by yacht club. if you see her down there buy the big size for $30. it was so yummy!

This was a great place to stay. Anita and Theo were absolutely fabulous from the time they picked us up at the airport they gave amazing directions to all the different beaches as well as local restaurants they recommended. We loved the cottage as it was perfect for our weeklong getaway. We couldn’t be happier with the location, accommodations, and our hosts. We rented their golf cart making getting all around the island a breeze. Loved visiting with Ms Dorthy at they Bottom Line cafe. It was so delicious! Overall a great stay and we will return soon!

this property is on a 2 mile island that is being over developed and you are surrounded by constant construction from 8am till 3pm. The Island also is used as a dump for all the mooring boats and the Staniel Yacht club. Trash is everywhere and the burning of plastic and styrofoam is always in the air...The only thing beautiful is the water surrounding the island.

Perfect romantic getaway or base camp for a couple! This property has it dialed in…right down to the IGLOO cooler sitting on the front porch waiting to be loaded. Get the golf cart - it’s brand new and a welcomed “necessity” to get around SCYC. The beach is a 3-minute walk, but it’s down a steep hill and then back up that same steep hill. Yes, you could walk - we thought we would just walk…trust us, get the awesome golf cart! Had a wonderful couple nights at Honeycomb Cottage and SYYC. Bringing the entire famn damily next visit!
