Our second stay at Rectory Rooms. We really appreciated the tea, milk and cake left for us by the owners and were grateful for the quick response when we had a problem with the microwave.
Linton is a lovely location, ideal for exploring North Yorkshire either by car or walking.
Excellent meals available at the Fountaine Inn just over the bridge from Rectory Rooms.
Nothing, apart from the rain!!
4.0
Location, towels and soaps/handwash, big bathroom, decor, cleanliness, milk & cake etc
Only very minor suggestions: you can hear the TV from downstairs (minor), we aren’t fans of massive TV (prefer no TV!), the top window looking onto the car park needs cleaning. Sorry, but these are all very trivial. We’d definitely return.

Rooms were beautifully decorated, the bed was very comfortable, the whole place was lovely and clean. Very quiet location, but just a 25 minute walk or short drive to Grassington.
Nothing to not like.

When we arrived, there was milk in the fridge with tea and coffee available. There was also cake. Studio 2 is a lovely sized studio, comfortable bed and relaxing decor, and environment. If you struggle with stairs, choose one of the other studios as the kitchen is downstairs from the living/bedroom and bathroom.
Beautiful setting in Linton with footpaths to most places nearby. A pub opposite which we didn't go to but looked lovely and was busy - details are online. Leigh-Anne is lovely, and I am sure if there was anything we needed, we would have been happy to help.
Linton is walking distance or a short drive from Grassington and close to Skipton for shopping. There is a local Spar in Freshfield that has deli and butchers for those who want to self cater. It's at the petrol station and has a good stock including reasonably priced wine.
We struggled a bit with the microwave/oven as we hadn't used one before, however instruction booklet was found and we sorted it.

Perfect location for walking and exploring the local area.
The property had everything we needed for a short break. Beautifully decorated, and very comfortable.

The location was wonderful, not sure how I never stayed there before. The accommodation is cosy, but as we spent most of the time outdoors and returned late in the evenings, that wasn't an issue. The small cake the hosts left us was a nice touch - thank you!

Location very relaxing
Shower was awful . Temperature could not be stabilised. Too hot then too cold
4.5
The location is fantastic for walkers. Easy parking and a local pub within walking distance. Accommodation was of a high standard and had everything you needed for a short stay. Great for a group of friends wanting to explore the Countryside and nearby Grassington as there are other studios on site that could be booked.
Very good facilities. Only niggle would be regulating the shower temperature as the pressure was high. Easily sorted once you got the nack of it.
Could do with a tea towel in the kitchenette and some high level dusting required due to a few cobwebs. Nothing that particularly affected the stay.
4.5
Beautiful location, so many lovely walks and pubs! Very comfortable bed. Useful kitchenette. Large bathroom. All very warm and cosy - we spent a lot of time staying in playing board games - absolutely wonderful.
It's hard to find things. Kitchen utensils could do with slight improvement, knife was very blunt.
It was tricky to get the shower controls right.

Location, decor, amenities . It was perfect.
Parking straight outside. The kitchenette was brilliant. View of the little bridge was fab. Definitely would return.

The studio was perfect and had everything we needed. Tea/coffee and cake on arrival was a lovely touch. The most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! The studio is in a great location, only a short walk away from Grassington and a short drive into Skipton. Thank you for a great stay, we didn’t want to leave!

Great location very helpful owner made us feel very welcome
Some noise from other studios.

Location very good - a lovely village. Upstairs very comfortable and a superb shower room. Although there are some negative comments we had a lovely holiday and hope the negative comments are useful to you rather than being too critical.
Galley kitchen not easy to use - we found the stools awkward - microwave much too low for ease of use. No tea towels were supplied which is normal. Absence of salt and pepper which again is normal in properties we've stayed in. We felt a stair rail would be a big advantage - we are elderly and fit but found it awkward especially with luggage.

Lovely location, good base for exploring, bedroom and bathroom beautiful. Supplied with fresh milk and a yummy chocolate cake.
Could have done with a dishcloth and tea towel, they provided washing up liquid but nothing to wash pots or wipe surfaces with. (Disposable blue cloth would be ideal)

Beautiful location well appointed flat, everything was just right for us.
the parking was hassle free, pub opposite a real bonus, the Village of Grassington just a short walk. the Par at Threshfield excellent village store
Owner was always there when needed
We were the only people there for 6 nights out of 7, but we did notice on our last night that if fully booked it could be a little noisy

It's a nicely located self contained studio.
No instructions for heating and too much noise from apartment below I.e normal talking and studio usage you could hear everything. Water pressure when taps being used. Difficult to sleep at night if noisy.

Lovely little studio in a beautiful little village. The studio is decorated beautifully and is really cozy. it has everything you could possibly need. There is a lovely pub just a minute away and some lovely walks on the doorstep. The owner even provide tea, coffee, milk and cake for our arrival which was lovely! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for a nice getaway! Fabulous stay in a lovely village!

Location is fabulous. This is our second visit and we're looking forward to a third.

Just small details. Bulb missing from bed sidelight. Bedside unit had a drawer handle missing.
Sat nav takes you to the wrong side of the village down a narrow lane. Very poor property signage. No sign on the roadside. Very hard to see sign on building side. Impossible to see at night.
