Food was excellent. Room was small but adequate, I requested a room with a bed that had NO footboard and that is what we got. the walks around the little village are fantastic.
lots of dogs in a closed-up restaurant.

Nice Location. Friendly staff
We know dogs were welcome, but not overly keen on dogs being in the restaurant, one being sick whilst we were having breakfast.

We loved our stay, the room was lovely, the staff was incredible and relaxing next to the fire drinking champagne in the sitting room was just perfect.
It would be a lovely touch if there could be slippers in the rooms :)

What a wonderful place to stay in the Yorkshire Dales! I would recommend anyone to stay here, and only here, if considering a Yorkshire Dales trip!! The location is the PERFECT base in Malham village to do the full Malham Cove circular walks, you can use the hotel guest code-entry car park on the day (even before check in at 4pm) to park for free.
The interior and little quirky furniture and details is what made the stay at Beck Hall even more magical. The Secret Garden restaurant is full of bold colours, whimsical interior pieces and flooded with natural light set against the stream. It truly is a beautiful place to stay. We recommend Room 16, Deluxe Double room with River view.
It was the dinner at Secret Garden restaurant that was super super tasty! We enjoyed every bite. Should we ever come back to YD, we will be straight back to Beck Hall. Oh and the hotel is fully dog friendly - your furry companions can go with you anywhere in the hotel, including breakfast and dinner. Be sure to book the Secret Garden restaurant in advance before you arrive, we imagine this gets booked up quick in the Summer. You can easily do this online and book a time slot in a few minutes.

The cooked breakfast options didn't match the quality of the food we experienced at dinner. The continental options were nice up on the bar, but the breakfast especially tasted a bit like a standard Wetherspoons breakfast, but hey it filled the hole! Same with the salmon and egg bagel. It would also be good to offer nicer coffee i.e. cappuccinos at breakfast rather than just filtered.
Also (not the hotels fault) but while there are technically enough spaces for every hotel guest in the hotel guest car park, some guests park across 2 spaces (maybe accidentally as the markers are dark bricks set within gravel and aren't that obvious), which meant one night we couldn't park in there as there was no spaces. Maybe this could be resolved by painting the bricks white or even a 'Beck Hall' funky colour to make the individual spaces glaringly obvious.

Absolutely perfect location to enjoy everything the area has to offer.
It’s right beside a stream and lots of outside space. Perfectly situated.
Despite the fact that it caters for dogs, you would never know it because the place is spotless.

Cold floor on bare feet but it is minus degrees in January and I forgot my slippers lol
Twin beds pushes together to make double a little awkward as kept pushing apart

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Upon arrival they printed us off a map and showed us a local walk we could do which was great.
Location of the hotel is excellent. Super dog friendly which was great for us travelling with our pooch.
Can’t wait to return.

perfect location, dog friendly, good rooms
breakfast needed improvement seemed slightly well done as if possibly pre cooked then warmed and add to your evening menu some hearty favourites, and a greater variety

Spent a night at Beck Hall at the beginning of October with our dog and loved it. Quirky hotel with friendly staff and great restaurant. Location was perfect for lovely walks around Malham, would love to go back.

Great food, lovely setting at the side of the beck. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Potential residents should be informed that the only access to Beck House is via the narrow walkway over the beck as shown in the Beck House photograph. Staff were marvellous the lengths they went to in helping guests over this walkway.

really welcoming and friendly staff. Our room was spotless and lovely. the outdoor area is beautiful, especially the seating by the beck. I am a big foody and I cannot fault the breakfast or the evening meals. it was all to die for. we had our 10 month old pup with us who was so looked after by staff as well as all other guests being so warming and friendly. the hotel is in a brilliant and has incredible walks at the doorstep. we will definitely be coming back. thank you to all the staff and guests for making our stay so homely and helping our pup settle into the environment
almost faultless.

It is a joy to stay somewhere where our dogs are as special to the hotel as ourselves. The staff made such a fuss of them and they were welcome everywhere.
The bathroom was very narrow and the room quite small.
