Spent a week in July with 3 family groups, totalling 14 adults on Sunday night! The house was lovely, the first floor shared space - living rooms, dining rooms, kitchen are all nicely decorated and comfortable. Altough we didn't cook in, the kitchen has everything you could need. The front porch was great and had plenty of seating for everyone. Nice yard too! Easy access to the beach and all restaurants, definately walkable. Nice to have beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. Many nice touches with supplies, etc. Mary was easy to reach and very responsive to our needs, and nice too!

This house exceeded our expectations! There was plenty of room for 6 children and 7 adults. Every amenity that anyone would want was included, the kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, two dishwashers and ready for use. We were within walking distance of everything, the beach, the mall, great restaurants and shopping. It was a wonderful week !

Very well appointed.
Kitchen appliances and setup handled our family of 16. Two kitchen sinks and two dish washers made short work of cleanup.
Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and accommodating.
The short walk to the beach was welcomed by all.

I have gone to Cape May since I was 10yo and we have gone to Cape May as a family ever since. My 3 adult children were the ones who suggested going to Cape May this year for our every-other-year family vacation.
We had a wonderful time in a lovely home filled w/everything we could want/need. We had beautiful weather. My favorite part of the house was the porch where I enjoyed reading and watching people go by. My family loved being so close to the beach.
No matter where we've gone thru the yrs, Cape May has always been top on our list of the vacation locations

This property is the perfect intersection of old Victoriana outside with updated, modern comforts inside. The location is excellent as well, being steps to both the beach and the Washington Street mall. The property was perfect for a multi-generational vacation! There was room and accommodations for everyone. We loved it!

Our extended family of 13, ranging in age from 1 to 80+, rate this as our best Cape May rental ever . .. and that includes our stay in The Abbey. The location is fantastic - one block to beach and one block to the heart of downtown. Restaurants, grocery and liquor stores, retail shops, bars and clubs, etc. are all a very short walk, so you can leave your cars (up to 5) parked in the driveway and permitted area and stroll to all locations. (And if a restaurant is a bit farther, you can take advantage of the Free Ride golf carts.
The layout of this home is unusual for a Victorian, but our family found it a welcome change. The first floor layout is wide open with two large living rooms set behind a wonderful front porch and a very state of the art kitchen - with two dishwashers, a wonderful island, a wine fridge, a modern and very large refrigerator, and every up to date appliance you can imagine. The landlords leave tons of open pantry shelves for food, which is astonishing, given the number of dishes, pots, serving ware, etc., they supply. (Another very nice aspect of this home is what they supply to their vacation renters - from paper towels to toilet paper to garbage bags, to all washing and cleaning supplies to kitchen wraps to spices, all you need to do is bring the food and drink of your choosing.) The dining room seated our whole group with ease.
In terms of sleeping arrangements, the first floor includes an en suite bath in a queen bedroom. The second floor includes a huge king room with an equally huge en suite bath, and the two other second floor queen bedrooms each have bathrooms en suite, and one has an interior room with a bunk bed while the other has an additional space with a trundle bed. The third floor, which has a large shared bath, includes a very large king bedroom and another room with 4 twin beds. That floor also includes a small kitchen.
The landlord was attentive before our stay and responsive during our stay with any questions. They truly take great pride in their property, which is spotless and freshly-painted. In fact, they were so attentive that they noticed the third floor twin bed room seemed a bit warm during the changeover. While we noticed that the first night, before we could even make them aware of that, they contacted us to say they were going to send a contractor over to add a window air conditioner for that room. The air conditioning in the entire house was excellent, and we had a very hot and humid week.

We were pleasantly surprised when we were given the tour of the house. It looked exactly like the pictures on the website. The kitchen was state of the art. The bathrooms were beautiful. The beds were so comfortable. The light colors make the house appear larger than it already is. We loved the house! It felt like home.

This is a beautiful Victorian home with a modern, spacious interior. Plenty of comfortable sleeping areas and each bedroom has a full bath! Truly located right in the heart of Cape May so you can easily take advantage of the beach, shopping, restaurants and tours which is key if you are there just for a long weekend like we were.. We rented bikes and walked all weekend: the cars never left the driveway! Very impressed we will be back!!!

Extremely well laid out property that is clean, well equipped and inviting with lots of room. It is close to the beach and downtown mall as well as restaurants and Congress Hotel. The kitchen has everything one needs. WE can't think of anything missing.

The four grandchildren and their parents, and us the grandparents all had a wonderful time.
In addition to the great house we were so lucky with the weather. Many of us even went swimming in the ocean!
The house is lovely and there was room for us to all hang out together or for people to find a place to peace and quiet. We ate all our meals at the house and there was everything we needed.

We rented this for our large immediate family for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. Mary Beth was very responsive and helpful in clarifying any questions we had. The kitchen in this house is superbly appointed - the two dishwashers were a great help. The house's decor has a calming effect and the bathrooms are also very nice. We loved hanging out on the porch and in the yard. The location couldn't be better - 1.5 blocks to the beach and a block to shopping and restaurants. The grand kids ages ranged from 4 mo to 18 years and everyone had access to great things to keep them interested. We also enjoyed wandering through the neighborhood and admiring the old homes and gardens. Each of my siblings and their families traveled from CO and the south and they all were pleasantly surprised how big the house felt even with 21 guests. This home is very gracious compared to city living!I would highly recommend this gem of a rental house to anyone looking for a beach getaway. My two year old has been asking when we are going back every day for a week now. I hope it can be soon.
