Great value for money, amazing service and I would stay again.

Service from Raj was excellent, felt very welcomed and he went above and beyond to ensure my stay was a good one.

Bathroom is separate to the room.

Location good. Inside better than outside view. Little traffic noise. Host great. Lots of facilities on the inside. Decor good. Good for the price.

Thought parking was definitely available. Wasn't aware we had to phone to arrange access to the accommodation. Be good to know the bathrooms are shared. Outside could be improved to make it match the inside. More info on parking on booking sites and arranging access.

Owner went out of his way to help us enjoy our stay. Room was pleasant and good hot showers. Secure place to store bikes outside. Owner had an arrangment with cafe nearby for breakfast.

The front of Caversham was extremely shabby and not clearly signed. Took us a while to find the place

Great location, excellent value.

Despite the unassuming exterior, the room was very well decorated, clean and had all the facilities one would expect. The location is a short 5-10 minute walk to Reading Town centre and close to Caversham village also. The host was very communicative and helpful throughout. For the price, this is a very good choice indeed.

For the price, I'm not sure anything could have been better. Guests should bear in mind that there are shared bathroonm facilities.

Owner was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location was good for access to the town centre.

Bathrooms and toilets were separate from the room. On arrival, I had to park in a space that was supposed to be for permit holders while I called the owner and sorted out where I could park. It would have been good to know parking arrangements in advance.

Raj was really friendly and great customer service. Genuinely nice person. You don’t get that genuine and nice approach in travelodge or premier In. Good value for money and great location. Easy to find. Parking space available and has more a home feel rather than hotel:) Really clean and tidy

Toilet and bath not in the room and shared bathroom and toilet. However bathroom and toilets were spotless and really clean.Other than that it was great for a short stay.

My stay was nice.

The host of this house is Raj and he was very friendly and professional. Very bubbly and ready to help with anything. The house was very neat and the toilets were clean such that one wouldn’t know it’s a shared toilet.

If don't mind paying fortune for a shared bathroom then this is up the street for you

Paid a lot of money to stay here for 1 night didn't know it was a shared bathroom was not happy about this I paid for 3 people to share a room for 1 nt was £450.00 wouldn't stay again

The room was very basic and it is shared bathroom for what I paid shocking price for a hostel really .

Raj was so lovely and welcoming....made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. He messaged us with his phone number before we arrived, so if we needed to contact him directly we could.

Very nice, conveniently located accommodation.

Caversham Lodge is situatedd close to the station in Reading and the city centre, very convenient both for travelling and exploring the town. The landlord was extremely helpful and kind. The room was fully equipped.

Caversham Lodge is situated next to a larger road, but the windows are good and there is a airing system so it is possibly to air the room without leaving the window open. The steps are quite steep, people with mobility issues may have problems with them.

Great value room in an excellent location

Raj was very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful and attentive. Fantastic location only a couple of minutes' walk from the Thames. Excellent value for money. Room had a fridge and microwave as well as tea & coffee-making facilities.

Very, very pleasant and exceptional value.

I liked everything, especially the proprietor, Raj's lovely warm welcome. This is a great place to stay - lovely and fresh and clean room and care and attention paid to make sure all things were just right prior to arrival. Thank you Raj!

The price was superb value - the toilet and bath/shower facilities are shared, but not an issue as the cleanliness was exceptional.
