Good location. Near the station.
Bathroom was dirty. Pubic hair in the shower / bath. Limescale on the shower door. Not very clean.

Room was clean and good size, bed was comfy and so were the pillows
No parking or drop off facilities the hotel is in a red line zone, my colleague was on crutches and i got a pcn for dropping him at hotel, would not have booked it if i had known this

Staff were nice
It was overpriced for what it was. The bed was tiny, there was black mould all up the bath and around the tiles, it was really worn down there were markings all over the doors.

Room was very clean and relaxing. Despite being very central and next to railway station and bus stop it was so quiet with secondary glass we heard nothing. Stephan? on reception was very helpful during our stay. All the staff very pleasant.
Only complaint would have been the bar area. The seating was uncomfortable and lacked ambience- we moved out to foyer at restaurant for pre dinner drink.

The location was exceptional. We were in walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go.
The cost of the breakfast. We didn't actually try the breakfast because it was far too expensive. We got a lovely breakfast in a nearby cafe for half the price.

i like:
location ( near the train station)
wifi was good
rooms very clean
everything was good apart of rooms were a bit small

Proximity to the city center and the train station, the club room was huge, and easy access to the lifts.
Boilers were down for the duration of my 1 night stay (so no hot water), but the hotel did contact me and made me aware of the situation beforehand, so I appreciated that.

Lovely hotel, staff so kind and friendly. Food was great. Location perfect

convenient location close to town and rail way station, although on a busy intersection noise could not be heard in the room.
it’s a little dated bathroom fixtures and fittings showing some age, and in need of repair or updating.

I was upgraded to master room which was luxurious and warm on arrival. great view of Reading station and the square in front.
breakfast room and lobby was too chilly for me

Great greeting at reception, contemporary decor, quiet room despite being by the station and good room facilities
Bathroom requires some redecoration and updating.

Close to station and town centre - all walkable. Our room was quiet - special double glazing keeps all the street noise out. We love the attention to detail with all the little extras in the room like nespresso, chocs, robes, extra pillows etc. Staff were super helpful. Malmaison breakfasts cooked to order are always exceptional!
My only tip is that if you don’t want to get your hair wet in the rainforest shower, take a shower cap as none provided - the shower heads are so massive that wet hair is unavoidable. I know that sounds old very fashioned, sorry.

A wonderful oasis of quiet in the middle of Reading.
