Very comfortable stay

Beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, perfect location for station, nice outdoor area. Nice welcome refreshments and good quality toiletries. Will stay again if travelling into London.

Requested batteries for TV remote but didn’t receive them.

Great location just 2 mins from the station and a direct line to Wembley for the gig.

Perfect location for a Wembley Stadium gig without paying Wembley prices. If I go to another gig at the stadium I will use this hotel again.

Comfortable, clean and perfectly positioned for our plans

Continental Breakfast adequate but not exciting. Items on the specials board for bar meals not available although still showing the following day. Bit skimpy with loo roll!

Pay the extra for a double/twin room

The perfect location for our needs. Watching sport in London over the weekend. Good Breakfast and spotlessly clean

Singles rooms are what could be best described as bijou. I had to remove the largest lamp shade I have ever seen on a desk so that I could see the TV from the bed.

Nice renovation at the Ethorpe

We often stay at the Ethorpe, it’s comfortable, has a good restaurant with beer garden and plenty of parking. It’s also close to Gerrards Cross station and shops. The hotel was becoming very shabby but has been renovated since our last visit, a great improvement.

We stayed in mild weather in April and the radiators in the corridors were blasting out heat making the building far too hot.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Upgraded us to the bridal sweet free of charge.

Overpriced, filthy old place that might barely pass as a rundown backpackers. They should charge £15 a night, not £115.

great and we’ll be back.

it was central to where we wanted to be. good food at a reasonable price. breakfast was plentiful and tasted amazing. All the staff were so friendly, helpful and professional. And special thanks to Neil who has a great sense of humour and seemed to be everywhere doing everything.

it could do with a “coat of paint” but I understand it is having a refurbishment aug-dec 2023.

If money were being invested into the rooms to raise them to a normal level they’d be getting 5/5 🤷🏻‍♂️

The building is beautiful as are the grounds, staff are fantastic also.

The room was uncomfortable to be in, examples: Wallpaper coming off the walls in ours and the other 4 rooms our group booked. Mold in around all windows and growing through bathroom walls. This wasn’t a problem with cleaning it’s the building needing work, I know this from personal experience working in the commercial cleaning industry.

Nice room and superb breakfast.

The room was nice and had everything we needed. We were visiting family nearby. The breakfast was amazing!

The room was clean but very dated . Dripping shower head all night . Hot water coming out of cold

I had the breakfast on 1 occasion out of 4 . Due to the disgusting condition of the room . And furniture that was frankly off putting . I get that the hotel is due for an upgrade , but supplying decent chairs would be a start . I can supply a photo. The cooked breakfast was also poor .

The staff in the restaurant were very good particularly the lady that was there every evening and friendly, The food was also good. Which is why I found the breakfast so dissatisfying. Why not use the pub area for breakfast? Cleaner and better furnished .

Nice staff - dreadful facilities

I liked the staff The decor was tired The central heating was not working at all In the bathroom. We had to get a portable heater for the bedroom - one light bulb was not working. The lighting was dark. The parking worked fine. If it had not been for the fact that the staff were charming I would have really slammed this hotel for poor quality

There was a weird smell when opening the door as the windows kept shut for a long time
