it was very basic, which was expected and was only for 1 night. I did think it was a bit of a cheek that they ask for a

beautiful architectural building. close to where we needed to be. well lit hallway - essential as you need to put in door code to get in.

the bed sheets/pillowcases were stained and had dirt marks on them. wall paper peeling from wall by the window. very dated and beds were uncomfortable.

The bed was comfy

The room had a funny smell, wasn’t up to par with the price. Definitely not a suite. compared to the reception area the room was very poor quality and outdated.

Was pleasantly surprised

Clean and tastefully decorated, the staff member that booked us in was friendly and helpful, the room was bigger than expected

From the outside it looked a bit run down, but inside was ok A few things were tired looking, but overall not many. The doors on the rooms tend to slam which meant being woke about 4 am by people getting in

Reasonable stay

It was a really convenient location for us to put guests in. The property had quite bad reviews, so we didn't expect much, but our guests were perfectly happy.

Things like toilet paper could have been refilled more regularly.

Really enjoyed most of our stay

the room was bigger than we expexted, the bed was firm and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and considerate

Unfortunately our stay was spoilt by the actions of the other guests. After 2 nights of disturbed sleep because of noise in the corridors we cut our stay short and came home a day early. Also the smell of cigarettes and weed kept wafting into our room from elsewhere

Disappointing

We had two rooms the room upstairs was fine but the room downstairs at the back of the house was very dark. We felt very unsafe with the back door being in our room.

perfect for our stay - clean and tidy

perfect for what we needed for our stay - very comfy bed and excellent use of space with kitchenette in room. very clean :)

only a slight issue, shower didn’t work well - only a trickle of water came out at a time.

Ok but too expensive for what it was.

Spacious room. Bed reasonably comfortable. Overall quite clean.

The bed footer was stained. The shower was quite low pressure. The doors on the rooms should have auto closers so they don't bang. The bulb in hall outside room was out meaning you needed a torch to see the code pad. Wifi didn't work.

Room was nice very comfortable

The Hotel distance between the suit was little hassle. Had to check in at Hotel which is around half a mile away from Hotel.

Only negative is that it was a little cold, but soon sorted by friendly staff with a portable rad.

Didn't look as though it had been cleaned. Mark's on the bed sheets and hairs in the shower.

Needs up dating, like toilet that can flush again not long after being flushed, some hot chocolate as an option for drinks, and bigger tv

You get what you pay for.

The location of the room was very convenient for Smithdown Road and Greenbank Student Village. It was very cheap. Staff at the main Mountford hotel (down the road) were helpful.

The room was in a very run down old house which had certainly seen better days. It was fine for one night, but the tired decor would have made it somewhat depressing for any longer. Our room certainly needed a new bed.
