Goed hotel op fantastische locatie

Locatie top!! Op loopafstand van alles. Supermarkt naast het hotel. Prima kamer met fijne bedden en goede douche. Ontbijt was ook prima. Zwembad klein maar heerlijk (bij ons ook niet druk).

Very intimate family getaway

Excellent central location, lovely pool which was small but very intimate and never many people in there, the staff were very friendly and professional, room service was a huge plus and a nice bar that serves good food and has lots of good options for kids. Very close to Liverpool one, all major amenities within walking distance. Will be back!

Enjoyed my stay in Liverpool but not sure if I would use this hotel again.

Breakfast was ok, swimming pool good but half hour slot not long enough, staff friendly.

Air-conditioning would be good our room was so hot I had to buy a fan from shop next door, view from window was a brick wall.

Perfect location amazing staff!

Location was excellent. Central to everything in city center but not noisy. The staff were excellent and so helpful. I was there on an extremely busy weekend and when I had a minor maintenance issue they had someone to my room in less than 5 minutes to address it. They were so helpful and thoughtful.

Location was great - on main bus route from airport, close to the station and central to shops and many major attractions Room was a good size with space to work and relax

The room was cold one evening and didn't seem to respond to adjusting the temperature so I was a little cold. Seemed sorted next morning so I didn't say anything. Unable to get in the lifts/main stairs down to the pool from the rooms so this meant you needed to walk through the main reception area to get to the pool and gym which was a little inconvenient if in swim stuff or wanting to go back to room to change or shower/dry hair for example.

Being told you can book cheaper parking when already arrived and parked up. Only option was to leave car park and re enter

Overall nice hotel, staff were lovely, great location but bear in mind noise if taking younger family.

Great location, friendly staff and room was comforable.

Being in the city centre it was noisy at night time, even with windows closed we could hear the sirens. The room was rather hot when we closed the windows.

Disappointing for the price

Very close to shopping Center and Docklands. 5-10 mins walk. Our favorite part of our hotel stay was the Breakfast, which had a very large selection of food- really great for fussy kids. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Room was dirty like it hadn't been cleaned. After going back to reception they changed my room straight away with no issues. I used to come here quite often for weekend getaways with the kids. And it always felt like a luxury hotel. Haven't been back for a while, so we were quite excited to come back. To our disappointment the overall standards of the hotel have slipped quite a lot. Rusty lamps in the rooms, filthy curtains and overall very tired and drab. Not what I'd expect for the price, as its not cheap. Some of the sidewalks leading up to the hotel are taken up by tents of Homeless people, with a lot of drunks and druggies up and around especially in the evening. Not the hotels fault- but just something to be aware of when going out with children. As we had some not so great experiences.

Facilities good, disappointing that what we asked and was assured wasn’t done

Location fabulous.

I called the day before arrival to ask if my husbands 70th birthday could be noted with something in the room as a welcome happy birthday, I also mentioned he is a neck breather and although is not in a wheel chair he does struggle to walk far, I was asked if he would like accessible room but I said no I would just appreciate a room close to a lift etc. I said I would be happy to pay for his birthday to be acknowledged as this will probably be his last one and was reassured they could make sure something was done for our arrival. Not a thing, no mention of it. Put me off when myself and my child had to go to get celebratory bits. Toilet door didn’t shut, as soon as you sit down it comes open.

Too noisy

The hotel was fine and has a lovely vibe with friendly and efficient staff.

Every morning at 7 am and for a full hour a truck (s) were unloading in the street making it impossible to sleep beyond 7am. With young kids who needed their sleep this completely ruined the holiday.

Good location

The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean and new. The location is ideal. The staff was very welcoming.

We book a time slot to use the swimming pool and it was full of people literally you couldn't swim, I suspect other guest just turn up and don't book.

Great modern hotel with pool!

Modern quiet hotel very close to everything. Great breakfast and the pool was a big plus for my child! Stored our luggage on our last day so we could explore suitcase free!

Air con not great for cooling room overnight, it was too warm to sleep well

Not up to its usual standard.

Staff were great, location is good. Room was large and clean.

Bar closed at 11, turned the heat off in the bar, so I had to sit in the cold with my jacket on to finish my drink. The TV didn't work in the room. The phone didn't work in the room so I couldn't contact reception. I had to go down to reception twice to try to get the tv fixed which never got resolved. Staff did offer to move rooms but it was 11.45pm by this stage which was too late.

Excellent location. Brilliant city. Perfect for shopping and eating.

Variety of hot and cold breakfast items. Great family room. Bar fridge and kettle in bedroom. Very close to bold road restaurants. Short walk to the cathedral.

Grumpy breakfast staff.
