Good location. Large room, That's about it !
The process to get into the property was appalling. The directions emailed to me bore no reflection to reality there, and neglected to point out that there are TWO entrances to the property - an obvious main one, and then a small side basement one that was hard to notice and that I was supposed to use. I was stuck outside the property for obver 30mins, unable to contact the host (who kept hanging up when called), and thinking I'd been scammed. Once eventually inside the main building door - after Booking.com forced the host to call me - it was then completely unclear where my room/apartment was. There were multiple black entrance doors with keylocks outside, but none of them had any door numbers on (see photo). So you had to play 'guess the room' and try them all (with the risk of people being inside). My apartment turned out to be hidden from sight at the end of a corridor and round the corner in what looked like it was the laundy area for the building (see photo). Once in the room - the light in the bathroom didn't work (and it has no natural light), and for some reason they left an empty soap dispenser in there too (see photo). The bed was particularly bad - it sinks hugely in the middle. This was overall a very expensive room and worth nowhere near what I had to pay for it.

Great location in the Georgian Quarter. The building itself is over 200 years old and has this sort of "atmosphere". Shops and Bold Street (restaurants) nearby, Liverpool One in walking distance.
The front rooms are noisy, but the back ones are OK. Dirty carpets, leaky roof, rather "used" interior. But most of all, please be aware that Softon Hotel (that stands behind those apartments) will charge you 50GBP extra as a deposit but will never return it. I have already had dozens of calls, and emails, with no success, and finally had to raise a chargeback. It was my 4th staying there, and before, there were no problems so I'm not sure what exactly happened this time. You can call them, and they promise to return but never do. The same happened to my friend staying in a separate booking, so that is not accidental.

Bedroom window didn’t lock and nobody to talk with and we were on the 1st floor . No mirror in the bathroom. Didn’t feel very secure .. front door only locked sometimes and poor lock on the bedroom door.

good WiFi and close to the city center and shops
I've been to this place twice in a month - each time in a different room. The first time was not bad - I had a small room with a kitchenette, good WiFi for working, just small cons: a good knife was missing, and I couldn't open the window, otherwise, fine.
The second time, I went there with my family and we were bitten by bedbugs. Since I didn't know what it was at first, I didn't make a problem, but as I got more and more bites in a few days (about 60 just on my head, arms, and legs) and then my whole family got bitten, it got serious. My forehead was so deformed that I had to cancel a professional meeting and wear a hat for the rest of my stay. I wrote to the owners/managers and sent photos - no one responded. On the last day, I even took and sent pictures of walking bedbugs (caught the bedbugs coming back from breakfast on my legs at 3 am) - no reaction, no offer to change the room, no sorry. There was no problem with communication before I came, but this time, they just decided to keep silent about it. Also, we didn't have a table to eat a family breakfast, the carpet was very worn (scratched and dusty = not for allergy sufferers that I am not, but my wife is), and the mattresses in the beds (as someone else wrote) work like a catapult, they are soft (sore in the back in the morning) and every time I turned over at night my wife would jump up and wake up (ejecting the wife out of bed in the middle of the night is not a good marital habit). I would like to be more positive, like in my other reviews, but I can't. So I give 8 for my first stay and -10 for the second one, which subjectively averages to 2.

Its location, its size and facilities. I shall use it again. It was very good value for money. We love the Georgian properties in the city. We parked ok in the street - a plus.
No fire escape apart from the front door and no access to the window for emergency services.

A wonderful studio. Everything looked beautiful and cosy, even better than on the photos I saw in advance. The bedroom looked palace-like. There was a private kitchen and a private bathroom. Everything was we taken care of and clean

The apartment itself was nice - had everything I needed for the night and was good value for money.
Before I was given any details about how to get into the properly, I was required to pay a safety deposit. While having some sort of deposit in the form of a hold on your card is normal, this wasn't. I had to pay £50 (almost the same as the price of my stay) which came out of my account rather than just being a hold. They assured me that it would be returned a few days after my stay, but a week later I still didn't have it so I had to call to remind them. It turns out it's a manual process and if they "forget", you just don't get your deposit back. I've travelled a lot but have never experienced something so unprofessional/unethical.

Bathroom light did not work hard to navigate round and get ready. Had to move room as door code did not work. Bed not comfy as old mattress.

Location and accommodation was excellent. Perfect for a sightseeing base.
Major issue with a leak from ceiling at 3AM resulting in not being able to use the bed. Informed owner and was promised someone turning up. Went to flat above ours to find their bathroom flooded and slightyly drunk occupant try to mop up water in bathroom...Heard nothing, stayed awake to dry up as best we could before we left later that morning for an onward journey. Had to sleep in armchairs as had a 4hr drive ahead later and needed some sleep.. Left numerous messages with no reply.. very poor management/communication. Will not be using again..

I liked the fact that it was very close to the city centre and the nightlife and restaurants were just at your doorstep and I'd definitely stay there again 100% 👌
The bed only had 2 pillows and they were 2 very Tin pillows at that...but other than that i could not fault the place 😁

Everything...very impressed with the facilities. Could easily stay there for a week....facilities to cook, close to city centre...parking close by.
Was a little loud with people passing by on a Sunday night...but nothing that stopped me from sleeping.
