Nice helpful staff, convenient location and good sized comfortable room. Updated bathroom
The doors bang loudly when any guest leave their rooms. It is startling and disturbing each time.
The general decor is outdated and not attractive. The entrance way looks outdated and needs improvement in presentation

good parking and good location
the whole of the property is in dire need of refurb now!.. I stay here a lot and every room I stay in is old and marked everywhere. carpets dirty… and for the price they are asking for the rooms I expect a lot better to be honest but there is not a lot of choice in March.

Room was well presented and warm. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent.
No complaints. No where ever has drinking chocolate!! I don't drink tea or coffee . So while these are supplied in the room and bottle water I really would have liked a choice.

The staff are lovely, food is great value for money.
The bed is tiny compared to most hotels I’ve stayed at and there are various stains (some wipeable) dotted around the lodge.
The lodge can do with a little update, seems to look like something out of a 1990”s sitcom.

The staff were very helpful

Clean room and plenty of hot water. Helpful staff. Good breakfasts. Good value stay.
Heating not working properly the first night of our stay but helpful staff sorted it very quickly. TV would only get BBC1.

Very friendly staff, easy check in. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable
Room was freezing cold, no radiators, just air con unit that blew warm air. Room was so chilled from no heating that it took a whole day to warm up and once the air con stopped it was freezing again within minutes. No carpets in room so floor was freezing cold all the time. Other guests kept us up all night.

location was fantastic for me. private car park offered security and the room was great! being able to get a meal and use the bar in the evening was a real bonus and the cooked breakfast was great . the room was modern and clean with a comfortable bed and all the features you enjoy- tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water!!!
public areas were a little tired but the room quality made this unimportant
