An establishment that fully deserves a really wonderful review.

Chris and Jayne have a wonderfully kept establishment. Very clean and my room was perfect. The breakfast was plentiful, cooked to order and delivered with copious cups of fresh ground coffee and wonderful humour.

Access to all bedrooms is via the main stairway. Absolutely fine for me but sadly my wife wouldn’t be able to manage the stairs. I say this with a heavy heart because she would have loved the decor and the friendliness of the owners.

Lovely stay.

Everything you needed and more. Locally sourced food and of excellent quality. Very peaceful and quiet for a town center location. I had a single room but it was good size with a lovely shower room and comfy bed.

No problem for me, but parking bays may not accommodate a large van or camper so check ahead if you have one.

Tolles Hotel mit herausragendem Frühstück

Absolut freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Das Frühstück war ein Erlebnis., das Beste was ich je in GB hatte. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Ich komme gern wieder!!!!

Einziges kleines Manko war, die Hellhörigkeit des Zimmers.

Despite the hotel being in the centre of town my room was very quiet. It was spacious, bright, clean and very comfortable. The en-suite shower was lovely too. The owner was very welcoming and even arranged a taxi for me. Would definitely return.

We wanted somewhere clean and comfortable with a good breakfast and The Leicester more than delivered.

The Leicester was clean, comfortable and welcoming. The rooms had all the facilities that you need and the breakfast was excellent. The owners went out of their way to provide for us. It was very good value for money.

I liked everything about the Leicester, it was spotlessly clean and tidy, the owners where very friendly and helpful, location was excellent, only 5 mins from centre and 15mins from beach, also off road parking 😀

it was very welcoming, the owner was very friendly and accommodating.

Most probably the best b and b I've stayed in. The room was extremely clean and the en suite was of a high spec. Cliff was very attentive and very pleasant to chat with. Breakfast in the morning was excellent and I'll definitely be staying again. Many thanks on a great stay and love the Christmas tree

We had a lovely stay at The Leicester visiting friends. The staff were so kind and very welcoming and couldn’t have done more for us. Amazing breakfast in the morning. Thank you for everything.

The parking was a squeeze but given the location this was very understandable. The property was very warm but Cliff was great at explaining how to turn it down.

Breakfast was excellent. Cliff was a friendly, helpful host, providing hot chocolate for hospitality tray on request!

Would have liked more comfortable chair in room. Not much space, I know, but small dresser chair not adequate.

Wish we had an extra day to enjoy another breakfast

Cliff was an amazing host. He was waiting for us when we arrived, helped us with our luggage and gave us an excellent run down of restaurants nearby. Breakfast the following morning was exceptional. If we are in this neck of the woods again, we will stay here and hire Cliff to be our caddy (he’s a golf pro).

The rooms are on the smallish side, however they were well equipped with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, but every movement of your partner will be felt.

Very good

Cliff was a great host, full of local info and made us feel very welcome. Our room was clean and bright and had a nice boutique vibe. Nice comfy bed, slept like a log! There was also a great selection for breakfast. Book with confidence.

I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful property.

Upon arrival, we received a wonderful welcome from Cliff. Our room was very tastefully decorated. The extra touches were really classy, like the complimentary bottles of water, lovely biscuits and a jar of cotton pads and buds in the bathroom. The breakfast was probably the best ever.

It was perfect.
