Comfortable, clean, not over-priced, and convenient

Peace and quiet(though I think we were the only people staying?) Clean, well-maintained, convenient for shops, restaurants, etc

Personally don’t like grey decor- depressing The view from the room (though not owners fault!)

Stay was great. Room was nice. We were given one on a higher floor to start which was quiet but too many stairs w an ach

It’s very centrally located and you’re able to come & go as you please. Plus parking available!

Nothing really. There are a decent amount of stairs so be prepared to climb w bags.

Location excellent, lovely clean rooms, host very helpful, very thick fluffy towels, superior beds, we were a group of 8 ladies, we had a 3 bedapartment and 1 room, all very satisfied and we will defo be back,

The Stamford is a beautiful place to stay. We were a group of 14 family members ranging from age 18 through to 70. We all loved the rooms and apartment we hired. Everything was thought of to make our stay fabulous. We had use of a full kitchen and living room...lots of bathrooms and our beds and bedding were of excellent quality and comfortable. Tea,coffee,bottled water and lots of milk were supplied. Bex was there to greet us on arrival and kindly let us store our luggage until it was time to officially check in. She was so friendly with lots of suggestions of things to do in Southport. The location is excellent..just a short walk to the shops, bars, restaurants and pier. We would highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed. Thank you to Bex and the Team...we loved our stay xxx

The hotel was very spacious downstairs with all kitchen appliances you would need IF you wanted to do your own meals. Bedrooms were very clean and had usual nice touches

Unfortunately we had room 6 which in all honesty is more a single person room than a couples. The bed is pushed against wall. I had to literally climb over my husband to get out of bed. There is a 3ft space between the bed and the dressing area that we had to manage to get dressed. The room decor was very nice. We would stay again but not in these small rooms.

Bedroom accommodation and shower area we're very clean and tidy enjoyed the fact we had the full run of the lounge and kitchen area

we would of loved to sit in the lovely living room but felt uncomfortable with the camera being in there invading our privacy

Parking limited, 6 places, 3 blocked in. Nobody there to greet you or answer any questions. Felt very impersonal. Didn’t feel comfortable enough to use communal kitchen facilities. No breakfast available???

We loved the 3 bed apartment very comfortable and clean . Tea coffee sugar provided for the whole stay . Location brill ..close to shops and pier. Becky was very helpful ..thank you .

Excellent place to stay

Everything, cleanliness ,location ,the fact you could help yourself to tea and coffee and had a communal kitchen where you could have use of the microwave ,washing machine ,if needed

The room was small ,so I would book a larger room next time.Having said that it did have everything we needed.

Lovely property, close to centre, we had a wonderful weekend!

The communication before our arrival was excellent, the self check in was really easy and the property was secure and we got a parking space, the room was immaculate with everything we needed and a couple of nice touches with water and local chocolates. The bed was really comfy.

Southport stay at The Stamford

Loved the location. Although no direct contact with staff, card only to access property. Any queries raised were always answered promptly and very friendly and helpful staff.

Unfortunately no lift and had to climb stairs with no-one to help. Bathroom small although clean. A challenge entering and leaving the property as had to squeeze in between cars each time due to parking outside.
