Great location and best staff. We were really looked after during a challenging time and the hotel was super flexible.
Poor Wi-Fi in some rooms

The hotel has a really good location which is a few minutes from the train station and looks out to Lord Street. The hotel is very nicely decorated, excellent reception desk team and has a restaurant attached which is great if you are a solo traveller. The room was spacious with everything you would expect and a very comfy bed with plenty of pillows. The room and bathroom were very clean. The breakfast was really good and had an excellent choice of hot food, cereals, pastries etc.
I didn't like the low level lighting in the hotel corridors and in the room. I appreciate that the hotel may be trying to be eco-friendly but not useful when trying to apply make up or read. Also I didn't like the shower/bath configuration. I had to step up onto a wooden trellis and then use a grab rail to throw my leg over the side of the bath/shower. If you have reduced mobility I would ask the hotel in advance if they have an easier shower to use.

The breakfast, the room was clean, the room was turned over each day.
The double bed in room 215 was two beds pushed together so you could feel the middle of it when trying to sleep. On the first night I think I had 1 hours worth of sleep due to the bed issue mentioned above and the terrible noise of the seagulls all throughout the night. You guys need to sell ear buds at reception!!! You will make a killing.

Hotel and location are great
No instructions for the coffee machine in the room!
4.5
Location is good and communal facilities outstanding
The room and all rooms are without air conditioning
Its been out of order for some weeks the rooms are unbearably hot at this time
No mention of this when booking Or reduction in price as should be

Good location in the middle of Southport. Staff were excellent and everything perfectly clean and tidy. The restaurant attached to the hotel is also extremely good!
No parking so have to factor extra costs in for that, there were several pay & display spaces close by when I visited. I paid for a suite which was nice and perfectly comfortable but for the price paid I was expecting a slightly bigger room.

facilities in room were very sparse

staff were very helpful, food and restaurant was excellent and hotel and rooms were very clean.
bedrooms were quite dark and tinted mirror was hard to see in. no plugs besides bed for phone charging was inconvenient.

The location was excellent.
The parking arrangement wasn’t ideal.

Are bed was 2 separate beds pulled together with one bed being a little higher than the other which was a problem when u rolled over in the bed an has half the other mattress stuck in your back. Carpet had paper still on it and around the sink was dirty. Stayed here before and had no problems but didn’t enjoy this time around.

Very friendly and great location
First time up there lots to do great location and nice restaurants

Location was really good.
Nice view from my room
Lacked basic amenities like shower caps, bedroom slippers.
Room not vacuumed
Safe parking at £20 a night otherwise leave your car on the road.

Great service and rooms are spacious and clean
The corridors outside bedrooms are very gloomy. I also didn’t like being told that my room upgrade bid was £30 when the Hotel had accepted £15. We had to show proof to have this corrected.
4.5
Room good as usual, and restaurant and reception staff very good and helpful.
We have stayed at the Vincent many times before and were surprised to be informed (rather impolitely) that the 1st floor bar was reserved for a private party and were told to go to the ground floor bar, which was by this time closed.
We're used to being able to have a drink until 1am with family and friends, but were advised that wasn't the case and the bar always closed at midnight and we could only have room service drinks. This is the first time this has happened to us and the manager at reception kept telling us he'd worked there 13 years. I fail to see what this had to do with my query. He also said that the bar had closed at 12 for two years - also I believe not the case. I realise that they may have opened the ground floor bar since our last visit, but my wife and I were rather put off by the unhelpful attitude of the staff involved.

Good location, a premium hotel in Southport for many years. Nice room, and a quiet stay!
a check out time of 12, not 11 would have been great, but this is a minor point.
