The location was perfect for my needs, reception staff were very welcoming. The room was clean & had all the necessities' I required. The choice at breakfast was good with a selection of cooked, cereals, pastries, toast & fresh fruit.
My stay was far too short......I wanted to stay longer! My three night stay whizzed by, I will definitely by returning in the future.

V convenient position, reasonable price, clean and staff plesant.
What dominated our 2 night stay was the incredibly hot room. There appeared to be some sort of aircon but the window had to be open constantly because it just didn't work. Staff gave us a v small fan which helped a wee bit, but we still had to have the window open and thus the room was always noisy. As well as hot!

Das Personal war unfassbar nett, das Frühstück war sehr gut, die Lage war wunderbar.
Im ganzen Zimmer gab es nur 2 Steckdosen und die waren nicht am Bett. (Das war so was von 80th 😉)

clean, good location. Nice coffee. Nice view of the harbour.
Twin bedded room. The beds were too narrow - narrower than a standard single.
Room decor uninspiring, tiny bathroom.
3.0
Location was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hearty, too.
Having an electrical plug closer to the bed would have been appreciated. More water pressure needed and the shampoo and soap provided all had a very strange and unpleasant odour.

Too pricey,Lot cheaper outside
Cheaper breakfast

The location was great , Staff at check in were friendly,
the room was poorly maintained and laid out. The corridor we were on was unclean, and had a foul smell.

It was basic and clean. Near the train station and front desk was very friendly

Comfortable, modern, clean room. Comfy bed.
Breakfast was exceptional value for money at £12 per person. As much hot and cold buffet as you want, special shout out to the pancakes!! Reception staff very helpful, stored my luggage until mt train departure late afternoon.
Only minor but couldn't open the door on one occasion with the key card, quickly sorted at reception

Staying overnight before journey continued by ferry. Location 5 minutes from train station and 10 from ferry was excellent. It was also well placed to explore the city before collecting my case and continuing my journey. The room was spacious and well equipped and the shower was lovely.

Location plus clean rooms
The lift was out of order for the 2 days we were there
1.0
The room was fairly basic, bed, shower/toilet and a small tv. The shower was powerful. The room was clean.
The room needs a bit of pampering. The flooring had chips in it and needs replaced. The hotel was dirty and rundown, very disappointing.
4.5
The room was nice looking over the harbour, breakfast very good, and ideal location for sightseeing.
Nothing not to like.

Centrally located
Morning stag was incredibly rude. Yelled at my wife for taking a sugar packet. Room was very loud and we barely slept. Only gave us two towels, no wash cloth no hand towels. A/c didn’t work and the room was hot. Barely slept a wink all night.

Staff were wonderful, helpful and approachable. Check in was quick and easy.
First floor halls smelled of cigarettes and the walls were thin so could hear everything going on around me.

I like the hotel's central location and the view I had from the room. The young lady at the reception was very pleasant.
I have stayed in the twin room, and the beds are tiny. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable, and the single pillow on my bed was as hard as a rock. The way the parking is advertised on Booking.com is very misleading. I thought there was free parking near the property. There is a paid car park right next to the hotel, which is discounted for the guests and costs 12 pounds overnight.

Great location. Close to the city center. Room comfortable neat and clean. Fantastic staff, kind and very helpful
Everything was perfect apart from the guests on our floor partying in three different rooms. They were screaming , making noise and slamming doors most nights. For someone who has trouble sleeping like me, it was a nightmare
