Mooi rustig hotel, goed gelegen… mooi ontbijt…
Jammer genoeg was de fitness (nog) niet open…

I returned to Maya Manor Boutique Hotel after trekking and this time booked o an executive room, which was well worth it. The room was nicely furnished and the third floor, with large windows to two sides and a large bathroom with shower. The place is really quiet and the large courtyard is like an oasis in the hassle and traffic noise of Kathmandu. Still, you can walk to Thamel in 10 minutes.
The rooms are clean and tidy, but there could be more attention to detail for the price. I asked for it, though and the cleaning staff at once took care of it.

Great location near royal palace museum and garden of dreams. Quiet location up a side street. Beautiful building and interior decoration. Comfy large rooms with air con and powerful hot shower. Amazing food in restaurant and room service, and great buffet breakfast selection. Helpful friendly staff.
I had hoped for a massage after a trek but it was not possible to book in advance and the spa was not staffed during my 2 night stay. I understand this is run independently from the hotel. No other issues.

Staff were exceptionally helpful, particularly the manager at the front desk.

Great value for money. Excellent location tucked away from the main road. Spacious rooms. Complimentary airport transfers. Breakfast was decent, nothing to dislike really! A pool would be nice though:)

room and front desk staffs
poor housekeeping, extremely limited service.
I had to check out a day earlier.

The hotel is situated in the heart of Kathmandu city. It is easily accessible using both private and public transport. I had booked the free airport shuttle for the arrival. The hotel is a transformed mansion and has a traditional and modern twist to its architecture. It has a great ambience with historical images, paintings and vintage stuffs show-cased around the hall giving the sense of time in travel to the past. The staffs were hospitable with cordial gestures and were helpful throughout the stay. The room was spacious, neat and well lit with natural light from the large window. There were complementary mineral water bottles, coffees, teas and percolator to heat the water for the tea and coffee. The walk-in shower was equipped with free toiletries and fresh, clean towels. The bed was super comfortable and there was tea-table with couches for tea or coffee. The room service of the dinner was excellent with delightful Nepalese cuisine. The best Maharaja Thali I have ever had in Nepal though the yoghurt was sour and I am not fond of sour yoghurt, could have been wonderful with King Curd from Bhaktapur, just my personal preference. The breakfast was buffet once and a la carte the other day and it was nice. I would especially like to thank the Supervisor for her warm and hospitable gestures and making sure that breakfast was well served. I highly recommend the Maya Manor Boutique Hotel by KGH Group at Hattisar, Kathmandu.
Breakfast could have been better though it is not disappointing at all.

The hotel is very nice in a beautiful house and the room I had was very comfortable and vast. The hotel has a nice garden too, which is now rare in the center of Kathmandu.
The hotel should be perfect but I was in a room right next to intense noise due to constant hammering in the building right next to my room for my whole stay. The hotel staff did not pay attention to this, and they should have not booked this room during this period. I mentioned the problem when I arrived at the end of the afternoon and they just said there was no problem and that this will not happen again. It restarted the next morning at 8:30...

Mostly of the staffs are very friendly and welcome.
Exceptional welcome and service at first with security team and also restaurant team, always with a truly smile and welcome greeting.
The room was great and comfortable. Quality of food in the restaurant was great also. Overall is a beautiful hotel, however need more little touch as outside area in the garden which is such a beautiful place but you get a feeling of an "abandoned" area. Many stations not in use at all.
This was the second hotel I have stayed in Kathmandu.
HK service need improvement.
Room even after I have requested to be cleaned before noon time, was done by afternoon once I was already back from excursions.
And last day, as I had a evening checkout room was not even done, or at least the amenities replaced. Which I have requested early morning at reception before my excursion.

The location was perfect and was easy to get to the airport from. Rooms were comfortable and they were clean. Bathroom was a good standard. So the place does have good potential!
The restaurant was terrible, food being served (paneer) was off. The waitress asked how the food was before I had even tried it, then when I noted that the cheese was off, she said she had asked me how it was. After a visit to the kitchen, they agreed and apologised.
I had also noted that i had to leave at 5am the next morning, they agreed they could call me a taxi, however there was no staff member for 20 mins at the front desk to allow check out which did make it quite stressful.

Staffs were very pleasant and courteous.
It would have been nice if the hotel could make its computer work for the guests. However, the young lady at the reception went above and beyond to help fill up Covid forms for departure.

As requested our room was on a higher floor with large windows on two sides. The staff served us with a glass of warm water when we were waiting in the lobby, not only during check-in. The service was also prompt when we call to fix the Elsafe and the TV.
There was only one bathrobe in the room even though we were two of us. Power disruption on the second night for about an hour. But the staff was kind to answer our question.
