Ubicación. Es un edificio precioso
Muchas escaleras

Yha is ideally situated for a lot of famous attractions. Both myself and my sister in law thought it couldn't have served us better by it's location and friendly helpful staff.
There was nothing to dislike

Twin room. Very clean, more spacious than I expected and quite bright and airy. Sink in the main area with separate shower and loo on either side. Some storage provided (but not hanging space - I used the shower curtain rail for that). Handy bedside table & lamp and power socket, plus one chair. Bed was comfy although I did use both pillows (one per bed provided). Didn’t use any communal area so cannot comment on those. Parked free using onstreet parking immediate outside the hostel grounds.

The location close to the castle was a bonus I had not realized. I recommend promoting that.
Comm was difficult! I was reserved for one night and asked about availability for one day earlier but no response. Your registration process FAILS when hostels are presumed full but persons are told to call directly. Utter FAIL. My only real complaint.

Nice and close to attractions. Friendly staff.
The mattress was uncomfortable, could feel the springs.
The en suite showers could do with a basket to put your things in when showering. A door on the shower rather than a curtain would help make it feel more private.
Had a bit of difficulty getting in touch with the property when coming back to collect my bag as I had stored it at the hostel after checking out.

The staff were super friendly. The view from our room was lovely as was the room, shower was clean and good. Room clean . Nice table to play cards at, kitchen area where tea and coffee available and cooking facilities, would definitely stay here again
Bed for me was hard but that's personally as hubs liked it
Romanian summer school students kicked out of the lounge at 10.30 for noise, which they were not bad actually as we're playing chess with hubby and trying to get TV on!!!

Building and our view from room were wonderful. The bed was extremely comfortable.
The floor and doors were loud. In our room we could hear everyone who walked by. It woke me up a few times.

Great location, beautiful building. Comfortable enough rooms.

Everything was VERY nice. The room was nice....it would have been a bit snug if we'd had a full house of six people, but I was alone in the room. Big nice kitchen and dining room. Washer and dryer worked well and quickly. Friendly and helpful staff.
The room was little, but it is an old building.
10.0
The kitchen facilities along with a spacious dining room.
The showers were easy to use and hot.
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly with loads of information for guests at the reception.
Lots of options for either the food provided or for whether you wanted to cook your own.
The private rooms were good and a nice size for a couple.
The lounge on the first floor had a TV, board games and books to keep you occupied if you weren't going out.
The location had the bus from the Park and Ride stop outside its door and the hostel.was not far from both the train and bus station.
The views from the hostel was excellent showing the nearby hills of Stirling.
Their was plenty of shops and eateries along with bars not too far from the hostel.
The rooms were quiet and we never got disturbed by anything.
Nothing really apart from the hike up the hill but we were at the top of a hill so at least it gave us exercise 😁

Cheap, nowhere else in the area or Edinburgh or Glasgow is as cheap as this for a private twin room.
The whole place is noisy. Floors creek when you and everyone else walk on them, soundproofing in walls, doors, ceilings and floors in non existent and conversations, sneezing, water pipes and music can loudly be heard. The only time you get peace & quiet is right in the middle of the night when everyone else is asleep. Beds firm but acceptable. Opening restricters on windows leave room a little warm & airless and lacking fresh air ventilation.

loved Hamish, the manager! he gave great recommendations and were so accommodating! There are 8 parking spots for free, and we didn’t have a problem finding one. This was a lovely hostel!
there didn’t seem to be temperature control in the shower but that’s only a problem if you like cold or very very hot showers. this was my preferred shower temperature but my friends said it might be an issue for some. also it’s only a hill so walking back up after a late night might be challenging for some

Staff fabulous, location fantastic, cleanest hostel we've ever been in. The staff make this hostel the place to stay. Friendly, welcoming and helpful. Full stars to the staff.
No wardrobe or place to hang coats, noisey creaky floors.

We liked the location, it's close from everything.
the inside of the building is not charming, nothing special compared to the outside.

Staff very pleasant, room very clean , tea and coffee available in communal kitchen. ( not to be confused with breakfast)
The tiniest thing, the WiFi password was pinned up at reception however not pointed out. Other than that staff very informative.

Location ideal in historic old area. Nice lounge on 1 st floor. Kitchen good size, well equipped
Beds seemed smaller than other hostels. Shower curtain in room showers, lack of privacy.

It’s a Youth Hostel, so you get what you pay for. Basic but spotlessly clean and helpful Staff. Location is the selling point, as right in the heart of Stirling. We were a group of 6 bikers and a great overnight stop. For breakfast, we went to a local hotel, but there’s also a ‘Spoons’ just down the. Road. Perfect for a stop on our 6 day tour.
Noisy group of young German Kids that were staying there overnight also. But you unlucky and I guess they have many large groups like this staying.

Location, lounge, and kitchen we’re all good. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The noise was awful. The walls and ceilings are so thin. The floors creak with every step. It felt like the rowdy teens above us were going to fall through after midnight. We had bad luck being under this group. The wifi only worked in the common areas.

The staff was very unmotivated and also not reachable as indicated or when you called them
