Breakfast was amazing! And superfriendly host! Location was also perfect.
Notthing.

Total freundlicher Gastgeber. Bequeme Betten.

The breakfasts were generous and hot choices were served on heated plates.
The wee Scottish breakfast was substantial. The big Scottish breakfast would be a challenge but would set you up for energetic activities🙂
Maybe Eggs Benedict to savour Scottish smoked salmon would be a nice addition.
Stuart was an affable and interesting host, who provided useful insights on what to see in Stirling and Scotland in general.
There was nothing we didn’t like

Stuart was so incredibly welcoming and friendly. He is full of knowledge about the area, how to book things, and with a great story. The house is well maintained and very clean. Much nice artwork.
The location is very convenient if you have a car. If not, it can be a bit of a walk to town or attractions. On the bus line, but for anything else, you need a car.

Stuart is a friendly and helpful host and excellent cook as well. It was a nice change for us to stay in a B&B instead of our own self-catering apartment. We enjoyed the wonderful custom hot breakfasts including Stuart’s own delicious brown bread and he provided a wealth of helpful local information to enhance our stay. We’re road cyclists and he’s a cyclist too and recommended a very special ride to us that was beautiful and memorable. It’s a healthy but pleasant walk (about 1.6 km to the center of town) but there is a bus stop nearby and there is paid public parking in town closer to Stirling Castle if you have a vehicle. The Wallace National Monument is near to the Ravenswood Guest House too. Our room had a comfortable bed and en suite bathroom and Smart TV and good Wifi and I’m the hallway there was a shared refrigerator where you could store drinks and snacks or donate to take one of the provided drinks already in the refrigerator.
If you have any mobility issues, note that the rooms are one flight up from the entrance and dining room. Stuart helped us carry our luggage upstairs which was greatly appreciated.

The premises were very clean and tidy close to town. The host was brilliant helpful and accommodating.
Couldn’t open the windows for fresh air

beautiful house, great breakfast, very neat and clean room, a fridge is available on the floor for all guests, brilliant idea, Stuart is amazing he managed to satisfy every request. The location is great for visiting both the centre of Stirling and other places. Great mattresses worthy of a king, highly recommended also parking in front of the house was very handy, quiet location and close to several restaurants/pubs

Stuart kept in touch from the start until we arrived, this is very important. He was there to host, welcome and advise us, our room was ready, comfortable and very clean. He has a very simple but good system in place for keys and breakfast. The choice for breakfast was superb, we ordered a cooked breakfast for both mornings which was also superb. Very well cooked and presented and tasted lovely, nothing was a hassle. We would highly recommend this B&B you will not be disappointed.

The room was very clean, had a very comfy bed, coffee, tea and a kettle. The host Stuart welcomed us with a cup of tea and booked a table for us at a near by pub. You order breakfast by filling out a paper form with many kinds of breakfast items and preferred eating time. Everything was just lovely and went smoothly.
Everything was great.

Wow wow and wow, what an outstanding guesthouse, and Stuart is a fantastic host.
What a stunning and well-presented place to stay between the Castle and the Wallace monument.
10 out of 10 the guesthouse is absolutely beautiful, cozy, friendly, very clean & modern and also nicely decorated. Our room was cozy with beautiful modern Ensuite.
The breakfast was out of this world, you had a choice of: homemade bread & Scones (it smelt beautiful when you were baking 😉) yoghurts, fresh fruit, jams and much more to a complete Scottish breakfast; all it is cooked in the morning with a order.
Getting into town is very convenient as well. It costs around £5 to get into the town centre from Ravenswood Guest House by cab. Otherwise there are plenty of busses on the same street, which is £2.25 for a single ticket. You can also walk.
We can't recommend this place highly enough. 5 Stars isn't enough to rate this wonderful Guest House.
We must say, that Stuart is very attentive, seeming we had an early flight he made us both a packed lunch to take with us 😊
Thankyou Stuart for the great hospitality, big hugs from Germany

Stuart is such a nice warm, friendly and helpful guy. We immediately felt at home. Never got tired of our many questions for tips and directions and gave us quite a few good ones as well. Made restaurant reservations for us, made sure our chocolates were refilled in the room each day and even made a very early breakfast for us on the day we left. He goes all the way to make you feel most welcome. Breakfast is all you can imagine and his home baked brown bread is delicious! The rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious and spotless clean.
Absolutely nothing!

We were in Scotland for nearly a month and this was my favorite stay. Stuart made every effort to attend to needs which is particularly appreciated with we older travelers. The guest house is conveniently located, beautifully decorated and maintained. Stuart advised us on restaurants and scenic areas, was fun, open and kind. You just couldn't ask for a better host, cooking delicious breakfasts each day we were there, even serving us in our room when my husband wasn't feeling well enough to come to the dining table
Just the bedside lamps. I like brighter higher lamps for reading. A small thing.

Clean comfortable quiet bedroom. Excellent breakfast choices. Loved the Posh Porridge and the home baked bread. Frequent bus service right outside. Close to Castle, Wallace Monument and restaurants, bars, shops.
Can't think of anything we didn't like!

The communication was great. Very flexible and friendly. The room was relatively small but clean. We had everything we needed. Also, there was really good breakfast (various options) - delicious!
Toilet door wasn't great but didn't cause major issues. Little distance from the city but nothing to do with the BnB. Overall, it's one of the places I'll visit again.

It is like home from home.
Stuart is an excellent host.
The shower lacked a little power.

Super location for access to town and major transport routes. The accommodation was very clean, excellent breakfast choices and a range of drinks in the bedroom. My husband really appreciated the caramel wafers and Tunnock's snowballs! A fridge for use on the landing was brilliant, particularly as we prefer real milk to long life milk in sachets. Stuart was the most helpful and informative host we have ever met. A very lengthy message soon after booking describing tourist tips and restaurants nearby, a map on arrival and advice about specific shops whilst we were there.
The sink in the ensuite was a bit high for me - being vertically challenged!
