Lovely peaceful home.Enjoyed stay. Would return!

Provided own breakfast.Hosts did leave some milk and a bottle of wine which was appreciated. Lovely to have heating on which made it cosier.Thanks for that.

Nothing to dislike but on arrival felt home was in need of updating, but once settled it was fine and we enjoyed our stay.

Highly recommended and beautiful remote location!

Beautiful property, very clean and spacious. Extremely well equipped with anything you can think of from a fully equipped kitchen, spices, milk & welcome wine in the fridge. Cleaning products boards games and dvds. Very thoughtful host with an eye for detail. Came on second day to check everything was ok.

The only issue we had were the mattresses which were extremely uncomfortable.

Property needs some work

Cottage was comfortable and well accommodated. The kitchen is fully stocked of everything you need. The hosts also left some milk and a bottle of wine in the fridge which was very kind. Beds were comfortable, not lumpy like some reviews say. The area is remote but served our needs well. There's lots of villages nearby which have things like pubs and supermarkets if you need them.

The property definitely needs some attention in terms of safety and structural. We were informed on arrival that the water, which comes from a natural spring, hadn't passed it safety hygiene and as such was not to be drunk. The hosts did provide us with replacement bottled drinking water however. The ensuite bathroom had an exposed electrical wire running behind the toilet. My husband being an electrician advised the hosts of the danger, which they seemed unaware of and asked whether this was a problem, to which my husband stressed the importance of rectifying this as soon as possible. This was dealt with quickly with electrical tape, but what should be a temporary fix only. This area behind the toilet where the wire was was dirty so we assume whoever cleans it was aware of the wire and avoided doing this area. The bathroom itself also had mould in the silicone around the shower, especially in corners. The building has several structural cracks, which obviously didn't affect our stay, but are definitely worth noting.

Really lovely place to stay. Hosts were lovely and only next door if you needed their help. Great location to visit different places in the area. Will defently be booking with them again 😊.

Fabulous stay would return again.

It was in a fabulous location down a quite country road. Easy to get to the places that we wanted to visit. The hosts came and checked that everything was ok, and advised us what to do if we had any problems. They only lived next door so this was very helpful if needed.

Nothing everything was perfect within the cottage, we had facilities for cooking ect and 2 bathrooms, which was very helpful.

A perfect house for a family get together.

This house suited our family group of 5 perfectly. It was very comfortable, practical and in a wonderful location with good access to great places.

Lovely stay but a few minor issues.

The property was located in a lovely quiet area. Plenty of room for all of us (6 plus 1 baby). Bottle of wine and some milk were in the fridge on arrival. I had tried to message the owners about how to get into the property but had no response. Fortunately we were able to enter on arrival.

My family found the beds quite lumpy and uncomfortable and we found a couple of the duvets to have stains on them. The directions on Booking.com are no good. They take you to a completely different location. The only sign that told us we had found Bramble Cottage was a dustbin with the name written on it (at a distance). The owners could put a sign by the road. I think a lot of previous visitors have had the same problem.

We would return!

Perfect location for our needs. Set in the country with little around. Good size private property which had pretty much all we needed. Wonderful host who was very accommodating and we would return as it's a great base for us visiting family local to the area

The property could benefit from a little TLC, a new sofa and a toaster.

great value for money. lovely cottage, we really enjoyed our stay with extended family over Christmas… would definitely

lovely spacious but cosy cottage perfect for a family Christmas. host put up a Christmas tree which was a thoughtful festive touch. kitchen very well equipped. new carpets, comfy sofas. 3 bedrooms with comfy beds & plenty of storage & two bathrooms. perfect location in beautiful countryside & lots of local walks.
