About this house rental
Contemporary, recently renovated well equipped house in a quiet cul-de-sac in the centre of Swanage, very close to the beach. The house has been renovated to a high standard and offers 3 bedrooms, 1 King Size, 1 double and two single beds (travel cot also available). The bathroom has a separate shower and corner bath. The newly fitted kitchen includes a dishwasher and washing machine/tumble dryer, double oven, microwave and coffee machine. The Lounge/Diner has a new large sofa and two comfortable chairs with a modern WIfi enabled TV and DVD player with plenty of DVDs. There are plenty of childrens games, toys and books and equipment for the beach. WIFI is included. There is a small courtyard garden with table and chairs. The house is set over three floors. The top floor where there is one bedroom has steeper stairs so not advised for elderly guests. The first floor has two bedrooms where stairs are standard.
The house is just a few moments walk from the long sandy beach, the shops, cafes and restaurants, the Victorian Pier and the Steam Railway. Corfe Castle, Durlston Country Park, Studland Bay, Poole Harbour, Brownsea Island, The Blue Pool, Durdle Door & Lulworth Cove are only short distances away. Children are very welcome but sorry no pets.
Parking is on the road and is unrestricted but does have limited spaces. There are other unrestricted roads nearby or a car park 7 minutes walk away (£50 for the week). The advantage is we are close to everything in Swanage. We don’t tend to need the car once in Swanage. Guests appreciate how close we are to all the amenities of Swanage.

Comfortable and well equipped holiday house in a great central location in Swanage! Although the weather wasn’t the best we enjoyed a few days away including a trip on the Waverley paddle steamer along the Jurassic coast.

We had a lovely time in Swanage which was close to the beach yet quietly tucked away. It had everything we needed and was nice, clean and tidy when we arrived. The ceilings are low on the stairs so watch your head it you're tall!

The house is ideal for young families as there are 3 good sized bedrooms over 3 floors. It is so close to Swanage town and beach and very clean with everything you could possibly need for a lovely beach holiday! Slight downside for us was the fact there is no downstairs loo, and the stairs are very steep so my elderly mum struggled to get up and downstairs. Also parking is limited and is on a first come first service basis so is not always possible to park on the road, but we did manage to get one on day two and just stayed there all week as we were so close to the town!

My sister and I loved the house: comfy beds and furniture, well appointed kitchen (although we mostly ate out), tasteful decor. We loved the close proximity to the shops, amenities and beach, since we both have limited mobility. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and can imagine it would suit a family really well. (Rather steep staircases though!)

The property is very well located to the beach, town, bus and train station. The house is clean and very comfortable with so many extras like toys and beach items (buckets, spades, crabbing stuff, kites etc) which was a lovely surprise as I packed light! We had great communication from the host and all the house was full of really useful information about surrounding walks and attractions.
As a family with young children we found this the perfect place to stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again

We have had a wonderful stay in house in Swanage. Centrally located so perfect for short breaks. House was lovely, clean and well equipped. Pictures don’t quite do it justice. 3 good size bedrooms. Beds were comfy lots of storage space for clothes in bedrooms. House was well equipped especially for families with children. We would definitely like to return to the property! Host was very helpful with all key information provided and made us feel welcome. Thanks

The property was in an excellent location for both the sea and shops and pubs. It was a well equipped house, with dishwasher and modern cooking facilities. Hot showers and excellent heating. Very comfortable beds. Cosy lounge for watching tv and reading. Would definately book again.

Very practical and clean but with charm and Swanage pictures on the walls.Even two teapots in the kitchen on top of 3 cafetieres! Plus a good selection of board games and dvds in the living room. The little courtyard is a nice place to breath the sea air and unwind.

This was a lovely, well equipped property, in a quiet, private town location, 2 minutes away from the beach. Our host was very accommodating and friendly. Although there was no parking, we had no problems parking our two cars all week on nearby streets.

We had a super time staying here. It’s a well proportioned, well equipped property in the centre of Swanage. It’s tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac, and is near to shops, the beach and lots of eateries. A well presented property, well equipped for self catering and also close to everywhere: eateries, beach, pubs, cinema etc.
Parking tricky in street but you could unload and park in the nearby car park which in winter/spring is only a pound a day at time of writing. The stairs are very steep if you are not used to them and the ceiling on the stair well a little low if you are tall, but the rooms are very well proportioned, and warm in winter and the bathroom is also a nice size and warm.
If you have children then there are tons of games and loads of DVDs for kids and adults, so even if it is a rainy day, you can still have fun inside : )

This is our 2nd time staying at this property, it boasts a great location. Only a 1 minute walk into town, 2 minutes to the beach and arcade. It's a nice flat walk to the town as well so no struggling up hills. House was spotless! Cannot fault our stay! Thanks again Katie! X

House was perfect for me, my teenage children and mum. We were all comfortable. Had everything we needed, well equipped kitchen. Main bonus for us was location, right in heart of swanage but so quiet! This was perfect for my mum who can’t walk terribly far, she was close enough to shops, pubs, sea and pier. Parking was hard to find in local streets even in tail end of October so we used the long stay car park in town, about ten mins walk from house but absolutely fine.
For anyone with mobility issues the location is perfect, the stairs have quite a shallow step but are fine you just need to take a little more care.
