We liked everything about our stay at Smeaton Farm. Richard and Sarah were very welcoming hosts, the room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. We appreciated having the use of a spacious and comfortable living room where we could meet and chat with fellow guests in the evenings. We chose to have dinner at the farm one evening and it was wonderful too. Thank you to Richard and Sarah for your hospitality!
There was nothing to dislike.

Smeaton Farm was a beautiful property set in stunning countryside. The breakfast was one of the best I have had with a good range of choices. Our hosts were so friendly. We slept very well, the bed was comfortable and the location was so peaceful. Very good value for money
There wasn't anything that we did not like.

Everything! We were greeted by the owner, Richard, who was very friendly and took time to welcome us. Our room was beautiful, with stunning views from our windows. It was extremely comfortable and clean, including the en suite shower room. Sarah, Richards wife, cooked a superb breakfast. We had chosen what we would like, the eve before. It was cooked and presented to perfection, and on hot plates! (A 10/10 in my husbands eyes!) She too took the time to chat with us, making us feel extremely welcome.
There was honestly nothing we didn't like. However, a heads up for anyone wanting to stay here. There's not a lot to do that is close by. (The owners provide activities around the farm for families, including a maize maze!)The closest place for food & drink i:e pub! is about a 30min walk away, up a puff & pant inducing hill! But it's worth it.

The hosts were very welcoming, they couldn't do enough for you. The room was clean and tidy and the bed nice and big and very comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional, very well cooked and a great choice. Where the B@B was situated was excellent with great views. We will definitely be staying there again. Thank you.
There was nothing that we didn't like other then the lanes to and from the B@B, but they were part of the character. Thank you for a great stay.

Relaxing and quiet farm location. Hosts Richard and Sarah were very welcoming. Breakfast was superb every day. Very good menu options and took care of our dietary requirements really well.
Great location for the golf at St Mellion and close to some really nice pub restaurants such as the Weary Friar, Carpenters Arms and The Notter Bridge Inn.

We absolutely loved our stay.
Highlight for me (aside from the beautiful room and farm) was the eggs Benedict.
Best I’ve ever had.

Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice (order night before but not an issue). Owners of the farm extremely friendly and welcoming. Comfortable rooms. Great for the price paid.

Everything, location good, property clean and well decorated. Owners very friendly. Breakfast excellant. Also it was lovely to meet other travelers and really enjoyed our breakfast together. Would definitely go again.
Path up to front door not so easy with mobility issues

Fabulous hosts. Spotlessly clean. Anazing breakfast.

Breakfast was good. Maybe if they have baked beans, vegetarian sausages would be good. But not to complain of. Sara made the breakfast nicely.
we were a bit scared to reach the place at night because of the narrow path to the house. But in the daytime it was good.
4.7
Refreshing change. Breakfast was magnificent a refreshing change from the dreary buffet breakfast from many a hotel stay.
Nothing - it was what I expected. A farm house in Cornwall.

Excellent food. Lovely quiet location
Everything was perfect
4.7
Comfy bed, beautiful location and grounds.
Staff seemed really rude, strange dated and cheap interior, horrible breakfast and awkward horrible atmosphere from the host. The only way I can describe it it is that it feels like your staying in the farmhouse from chicken run 😂 Not made to feel welcome at all and actually felt like an inconvenience to the host for being there at some points.
4.7
Beautiful setting. Lovely food. Friendly owners
