Location was nice and close to the town centre, station and harbour. The house itself was bigger inside than it looked from the outside and was nice and spacious with a lovely rustic smell as you walk through the door.
Nothing in particular
7.0
Ideally placed for what we wanted
The stair layout for us was a bit of a problem
If you are carrying something you have to change hands because there is no rail that goes on all 4 levels

Cosy
Close to centre

The property was full of character and very comfortable. The owners were very helpful when we had a problem.
Nothing!

Fabulous cottage in a great location, so easy to get into town. walk down and take the spectacular view of St Michael’s Mount- dreamy.
great location for short drives to other beautiful Cornish places.

The house was really awesome with good ambience. We really loved the stay and it's near to access mail transport
Wifi was down and the water is leaking from the bath tub
8.0
it was a nice stay , a quiet place , clean and perfect location
just needs air con or fans in hot days

It was great to have a whole house rather than a single hotel room. The house was very comfortable, especially the bed which had good quality, cotton bedding.
Great location only a few minutes into town.
Parking is challenging. The tv worked intermittently and the iron and board need replacing.
3.0
Location good for the town and nice view from the loft window
Laminated notes posted everywhere with endless rules made it very unwelcoming. Unable to follow the property covid rules as dishwasher not working and no anti bac wipes provided.
Kitchen utensils and pans are in very poor condition. There is a locked cabinet with full length mirror on the door located directly in front of the toilet which makes you feel as though you are being observed while using the toilet.
6.0
The view from the attic bedroom.
Supplies like cleaning sprays was good.
The bathroom could have been improved at very little cost. Nasty plastic curtain round the bath that sticks to your legs yuck. Screw a shower screen to the wall for less than £30.
There was a de-humidifier in attic bedroom, I wasn't going to attempt to take the full water container down the steep stairs. The other bedroom had blinds that were broken.
Couldn't open some of the windows, not good in an obviously damp house in the time of Covid.

Plenty of room and a quirky layout. Great location to explore from.
Could be cleaner, lots of cobwebs and the kitchen floor paint sticks to your feet. Leaking from the bath panel when you shower. Dishwasher was in the process of being repaired, which made it harder with two little ones.
Parking and road width are tight.
House rule no red wine is silly, not sure I like the idea of being told what I can and can’t consume!

Great cottage in a good location , had everything we needed and comfy place to stay
As a family of young children (1 and 3) the stairs weren’t very safe one side was completely open no wall/ banister
Might be worth mentioning for young families staying there
We got round it by blocking the stairs, other then that the property was nice

Good flat, perfect for families.
There was only one bathroom and the shower didn't work for the 2 nights we were there! Imagine. There was no toiletries provided, not even a hairdryer. It says that there was carpark but the street is always full. We also had to take off the bedsheets ourselves after the stay.

Great location within easy 10 minutes walking distance into the centre of Penzance. Great beds, wifi, BT TV and all you need in the kitchen including an Italian stove top coffee maker. Comfy living room. Would stay here again - easy to get in with a key lock box and all very efficient and easy to get hold of and friendly when I called with a small problem.
Parking was very tricky (road outside is extremely narrow) so when we arrived on a Saturday afternoon I had to drive around for 20 minutes to find somewhere else to park. The backdoor was difficult to open to take out the rubbish. The road outside and area can be a little noisy in the morning if you like to lie in and the blinds don't keep much light out.

Home away from home. Bonus, gateway to Diagon Alley.
Temperamental shower and back door will too many locks.
10.0
Spacious, Clean, Cosy & close to St Michaels Mount as well as other places.
9.0
Quirky and cosy cottage, close to town centre.
If you have mobility issue's then be wary as stairs ( 3 sets) are typical of a cottage. Also, parking could be an drawback if walking is difficult.
3.0
Close proximity to town and corner shop whilst being in a quiet setting
Light for downstairs kitchen couldn’t be switched on until you got there and very dark stairwell, no private yard, constant flies in attic bedroom, very dated and ridiculous charge for our little dog considering the state of the property, bedside lights didn’t reach the sockets to plug them in and no welcome pack to name but a few!
7.0
The location was perfect, not more than 30mins to get to all the sights we wanted to go to including St Ives, Lands end, St Michael's mount and Mousehole. The rooms were bigger than expected, and the cottage looked even better in real life.
The shower curtain was a bit mouldy and the windows still let in a draft despite being closed. The parking situation wasn't ideal but I guess it's like that anywhere in Cornwall.
