Good Value for Money for a short stay in Leon

Centrally located easy pick up and drop off for our shuttles

Our room was facing the street so it was quite loud. Pool did not look like photos is actually quite small

Super friendly and helpful

The breakfast food was super yummy. Options of omelette, pancakes or nica (rice, beans, eggs). Then either tea or coffee. The staff were amazing and helped us organise activities with no stress to us. We chose volcano boarding. We also asked them to arrange a private shuttle to Granada which again they did without any issues. The owner spoken english well. The other staff have basic English but are more than happy to use google translate with you. Lastly the wifi worked well!

I probably should have expected this but there is no hot water. As it's a warm humid climate this wasn't really a problem but still something to note. The only other minor comment is that the hotel is around an 8-10min walk to the centre this is no problem in the day, but at night there are no street lights, so you have to rely on phone touches. Which again isn't terrible but the streets aren't always even and don't always have a sidewalk.

Fijn verblijf

Personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijt was lekker. Kamer was mooi. Fijne gemeenschappelijke buitenruimte. Ligt een klein stukje buiten centrum maar is prima te lopen. Verder is het wel gehorig maar wij hebben daar niet zoveel last van gehad.

A memorable stay and can't wait to return. Gracias!

Al Sole felt like a home away from home. Everyone at Al Sole were very friendly and extremely helpful. In the mornings breakfast was served outdoors where everyone gathered in the garden to enjoy the delicious food. The location was in a quiet area where I felt safe. The area is very walkable, or you can use the bike to get around which is provided by Al Sole.

Lovely place but quite far out

Lovely property. Rooms and communal areas are stunning. Pool is very nice, except they let non guests use it which gets loud and annoying. WiFi was great and bed was lovely. Bathroom was loud nice and aircon worked well

Location isnt great, this accommodation is quite far from the main town, the location is very residential and I wouldn’t feel safe at night. Kitchen is ok but the oven wouldn’t work, nearly caused a gas explosion trying to use it, had no instructions, were later told by staff that it was broken.

Saubere Unterkunft mit tollem Garten, super freundlich

Grüne Oase in der Stadt, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, guter Kaffee, sehr sauber. Zu empfehlen!

Die Zimmer wurden während des Aufenthalts nicht gereinigt.

Garden Paradise

Beautiful gardens and pool area. One morning I saw a humming bird, it was surreal. The staff went absolutely above and beyond. We messed up the dates and they arranged a taxi to take us from Leon all the way to Ometepe 3.5hrs away when we missed the last bus. The staff hung up my wet clothes on the line that I left hanging outside the room they were angels. They also had posters for two restaurants offering food delivery which was great when we were tired. Very peaceful, thoroughly enjoyed.

Only fans no aircon.

Superb

A very cute and serene setting. A quiet location in the middle of busy Leon. The ladies working were amazing and hospitable. Breakfast was fresh.

Bed was a little uncomfortable. The surrounding noise was loud in the morning.

Excelente! Hotel with pool

What a charming hotel The staff greeted us with a big smile and positive vibe The rooms are beautifully decorated and the convenient complementary breakfast is a perfect way to start the day. We can’t say enough great things about the incredibly attentive staff. We hope to return! They have a beautiful pool. The City center is 15 minutes walk , but we honestly loved it because we could explore the city and not only the touristic area. Very safe.

Good rooms, not the best experience

The rooms are super spacious and clean. The garden is very tranquil and the pool exceptionally clean and lovely. All rules and regulations were conveyed very well - so we knew where we stood. We loved the bikes!

If you are a light sleeper the local stray dogs may cause you some disruption. We had a relentless high pitched dog barking behind our wall for the entirety of our stay. We also had to leave during breakfast time for a volcano tour but were due back before checkout. We asked for some bananas as we were missing breakfast (inc in price) to which we were told no.

Exceptional..nice pool

We spent 2 nights here Aug 2023 and were very happy with everything about hotel: comfortable beds, great front desk staff, amazing breakfast . They have a nice pool perfect for the hottest hours of the day or to relax reading a book. The room was very clean with air conditioning. They have free bikes rental, thew center is 15 minutes walking.

Best choice in Granada

Must be best one in town. Good service, good rooms, breakfast very good and to choice as well. The pool is very nice and clean. Also the rest of hotel js clean.

Nothing serious. Maybe the location is not too central but they rent bikes for free (up to 4 hours) and walking is only 10 min as well (at night is no problem). So it is just an relative issue.

QUITE, CLEAN AND VERY FRIENDLY STAFF

Excelent Hotel, probably one of the best we visited during our trip for cleanliness and friendly staff. They have a beautiful small pool perfect for the hottest hours of the day. Very tasty breakfast. 15 minutes walk from the center, they also have free bikes.

a little oasis in the middle of the city! it’s so beautiful with all of the plants and pool. the staff was SO NICE. everything was clean and we liked that it’s a little outside of the city center so it’s quiet. would definitely stay there again!

Really good, a very comfortable and friendly place to stay.

Everything! Nicely decorated room, everything worked, attentive staff, good kitchen, great breakfasts (Nica or pancakes), clean & refreshing pool. No noise from the street, no complaints! Great value when you factor in breakfasts, pool + quiet & well equipped kitchen to cook for yourself.

the noise of the neighbor/resident (not guests). random yelling early morning and rooster. the roofs are thin, so easy to hear courtyard ajoining property. earplugs if wanting to sleep past 7am. not the hostels fault.

Lovely place to relax and to explore the city from!!

perfect place to explore León as well as relax.

loved everything - staff very helpful and polite, Pool the cleanest we have found in Central America, very clean kitchen (maybe lacking one more pot) Rooms are spacious, clean, fan is brilliant even without aircon. breakfast is a nice size to start the day and you have 3 options. only thing is it’s a little further out that some hostels to the square but the bonus is it’s nice and quiet. would 100% stay here again if we were to return!

I stayed 2 different times at the start and end of my trip. both were great! the property has a cute garden area with pool, lovely breakfast options and the room was clean and cozy. the staff are so friendly and helpful! they helped me get a taxi and figure out bus details to get to Managua.

Nice little guesthouse with pool

- Loved the (small) swimming pool, refreshing after a hot day in Leon - The Italian owner is amazing, very friendly - We could check in late, with the night guard - Room looks nice, big bed and spacious bathroom - Such a cute little garden

- It is really far from the center and not specifically a nice walk - Quite noisy, thin walls and loud music coming from the karaoke bar on the other side of the street untill late - The aircon kept making horrible noises - Kitchen supplies were a bit limited, so you had to be lucky with timing with other guests. But great we were allowed to use it! - Breakfast was very simple

Great guesthouse with very chilled atmosphere

Al Sole is a really great guesthouse. one of the best we have stayed at in central america. nice sized room with working ac and good wifi 90% of the time. The breakfasts are spot on and the staff were all really friendly. Having access to the kitchen and pool was also great.

We loved our stay but the only minor downside was it sadly wasn’t as quiet as we had hoped at night time. our rooms backed onto some very noisy neighbours next door who made it hard to sleep without ear plugs

Great stay just outside city center León

Al Sole Guesthouse is a quiet, well maintained and perfectly run guesthouse just outside the city center of León. They have a nice and clean pool, large rooms with or without AC. The kitchen is well equipped and the staff is nice, supportive and always in for a chat.

Al Sole is located outside of the city center. This is a benefit if you like a quiet place but can be a not comfortable if you are not in for a 15 min walk to the city center. As it is located on a direct road to the center you can always grab a (bicycle) taxi or bus.
