I decided not to stay

This is just someones house. photos below of the property No gym or pool - that is just the local leisure centre 1.2 miles away

Website very misleading Booking.com also didnt take this seriously and have refused compensation and unwilling to take this further.

It was just what I needed to wind down from a month dashing around London doing all I had to do.

I really enjoyed the 3 days there; Taz was great and we had quite a few laughs. Taz - are you holding sheets while reading this glowing report I am sending back? The Wifi was perfect and enabled me to catch up with all the matches I missed in Wimbledon so very satisfied. No, everything was brilliant, I did what I had to an Taz made sure I had everything I wanted and couldn't have been more attentive. Thanks for everything. All the best. Pam

This is NOT a hotel, it is a semi detached house in a housing estate.

Didn’t have breakfast

Very misleading description of it, it’s location and facilities. Impressive menu but you get sent out for a takeaway. Is someone on an ego trip here? No coffee in room, however you do get a pot of lollipops, bed jammed against radiator so had to get out over the end! Shades of Best Marigold Hotel spring to mind! Double check your expectations here.

The hotel was not what I expected: I thought it was a hotel, not Airbnb like. I booked a room with a private bathroom, but the reservation has changed. The hotel sent me an email but I realized that when I arrived at the property. I haven't received the email priorly. The location was a little tricky to find. Maybe it was because I went there late at night (I checked at 10pm) The price was too high even though I need to share the bathroom. If the price is a little more reasonable, I would more than welcome to visit here again if I have a chance. The staff was really nice and friendly. Even I felt a bit disappointed when I just arrived there, but I forgot about everything and turned out it was satisfactory due to the kindness of the staff.

The property is listed as a hotel with four star rating, while it is actually rather a bed & breakfast type of property, with very small rooms and shared washroom. If it were advertoised as B&B, I would be totally satisfied, but as a ****hotel, my expectations have been different.

Much better than expected!

Loved the decor, cleanliness, quality of finishes, Room directory , amenities, hospitality. Didn’t eat but menu looked appetizing- perhaps a little expensive.

Had a hard time finding house. Area dark and not wonderful looking. Owners cannot control that but better location of property would help- perhaps in Google maps or Google Earth. Better lighting approaching house. Easier access to airport shuttle.

I don't stay in there my family wouldn't we have to book another accommodation some were, it was a stressful night yet my money as not been refunded

The address was hidden it was deficult to locate the cap driver was all over the estate tried to locate the address because signs was not visible.

Waste of time

Nothing. Communication was terrible and after telling me I could arrive late, removed the ring door bell and didn't answer my knocks. I have nowhere to stay and it's 1am. Zero stars.

Everything. It's on a dodgy estate with no signage or lighting.

The mattress is 'lumpy' very uncomfortable, it is time for the owner to invest on a new mattress in the single room

Good

There was no breakfast, but I had to leave early to catch my flight. They had a menu though with many dishes they could cook for their hosts and they had drinks and champagne to help you unwind from a stressful day.

I was prepared for a more conventional bed and breakfast, like a business. This is someones flat and so it is important that people realize you are staying in a room in their flat. The host was extremely nice and accommodating and once I go over the initial shock of sleeping in someones apartment, then it was fine. It was very clean and I only need a place to sleep as my flight got canceled and was rebooked the next morning. So for that it was convenient, close to the airport, and fit my needs fine.

Lovely Christian Home

All good clean. Nice Christian home very kind and accommodating. Offered free drinks, free shampoo everything clean and tidy. Kaz accepted my takeaway when I was stuck in road works! Thanks very much. Will revisit soon

Disappointing

This property has two definitely strong sides: its owner, Taz and cleanness of the room. Taz is a very attentive, all of the time ready to help man. At any time he offered to make us tea or coffee, he was ready to give advice on any issue and explain any little thing. The room was very clean and the bad was comfortable. We got the sun side room and arrived at the time of sunset. А large Venetian wall-to-wall window flooded with sunlight made the room very cozy after a rainy four-hour drive in the car.

Overall, this booking was a biggest disappointment I encountered on booking.com. The listing stated 4* hotel with full spectrum of facilities from the restaurant on site to spa and wellness packages. I used to trust to high rating on this site and didn't check dipper. Actually, I discovered 2 floor flat rented on room base with shared bathroom. It was very disappointing! A double bed with a wardrobe for $100 is, in my opinion, too much, and taking into account what was announced for this money, it looks like a fraud. If I tried to save money and this room cost $40-50, everything would be OK. But I had to take it off, stuck in Heathrow due to the delay in the COVID test results and I wanted to turn this evening into an evening of relaxation. I was ready to pay for it. And what I got was actually just the opposite of what I was looking for.
