Unsuitable location. Not Plettenberg Bay for which we had booked.

It was OK

We had booked to stay in Plettenberg Bay. But the house was in Keurboomstrand. The address on the reservation details was 394 Main St Plettenberg Bay. Also, the photo of the house showed an open patio overlooking the sea. This was not a photo of the house we stayed in. We stayed at 69, not 80 and 69 as noted on reservation form.

Very good

The resort is kept in a spotless condition, walking distance from your own private beach and friendly staff. Unit had backup supply for WIFI (during loadshedding) and could keep everyone entertained during the rainy day.

Had an issue with the DSTV but the agent was able to assist us. We had some loadshedding and unfortunately there was no portable backup light or matches/lighter in the unit. We had a big cold front and there was no means of additional heating, so it would be advisable to bring a small heater if your staying during the wet season

Very good

Location is excellent. House was very clean and neat.

Everything was very good, but I think you can do a bit more regarding loadschedding. We sat in pitch dark the whole Friday evening. Perhaps you can change the bulbs to rechargeable loadschedding bulbs.

Spacious and calm place to stay with familiy, near spectaculair viewing deck on beach and ocean!

Great spacious place, fully stocked kitchen including wash machine. Viewing deck is nearby, have to walk for 5-10minutes. Amazing view on the beach and ocean, sadly didn't spot any dolphins, but they are frequently spotted in the morning and afternoon. In whale season you'll also find whales! Two pools at the complex, everything nice and quite. Safe and calm place to stay with your familiy.

Only downside was the small ant infestation in the toilet upstairs. Maybe some kind of new cleaning product? But they were all over the toilet! Really strange because the rest of the appartment is really neat.

All in all, we enjoyed our stay at the Dunes, and would consider returning in future.

Outside area, and private. Accessibility to Plett. Washing m/c good. Comfortable sofas and beds. Free wi/fi. Owner very helpful and amenable, and will respond to any requests and missing items. Swim pool good and relatively accessible. Area felt safe and secure.

Power outages little inconvenient. Some items were missing on arrival , but owner /mgr rectified this issue quickly. Cooker was needing cleaned and upgraded. Access to nearby beach, although only 10 mins walk, was not suitable for someone with walking difficulties.

completely would not suggest for people with small kids, location is also very far from the actual town of the lagoon so

the beach it was located on is beautiful and it has a really nice pool

The property is very far out The property was very old and in bad condition, the windows do not close The bathrooms smell The upstairs bathroom doesn’t flush properly The property is infested with ants it’s completely not child friendly as it was advertised, there are no security gates for the stairs as advertised and when asked about I was told the gate outside is for the security gate.

nice house on a child friendly terrain

they forgot to put towels in, nothing to shower with, no stuff for cleaning, no WiFi, no manual for anything, no coffee/tea, just nothing. when we contacted the owner he said yes sorry but housekeeping was really busy so they forgot. basically bad luck for you, and you already paid the full price..

Great place to stay and I would recommend it

The location was quiet but close to Plettenberg Bay

The second bathroom which was on the bedroom level, didn't have a shower, only a bath, which meant we all had to go downstairs to the shower next to the kitchen.

Misleading 4 star venue

Ad is misleading and no house has beach view. 4 stars but no shampoo, bodywash or soap in bathrooms. We overnighted and no sachet of coffee or milk available. We travel alot and most 3 star venues have at least all of the above. House was neat but we wont recommend any people there in future sorry.

Very good

The house was very clean and so beautiful. I also liked the private beach and necessities like surfing board and cooler box. It was very thoughtful.

Not having cleaning detergents in the house and the closing of the restaurant in the premises. The dry walls are not sound proofed.

Superb

This unit was well equipped, exceptionally clean and comfortable. The proximity to the beach is really good as also Plettenburg Bay. The hosts are really friendly and go out of there way to assist with any queries. I would highly recommend staying there.

Sadly there were no fans in the unit which would of made our stay - simply perfect.
