Quiet, peaceful, comfortable, wanted for nothing, rural setting, good value for money

Quiet, surrounded by open fields with lots of wildlife. Spacious, very well equipped, homely, comfortable. Host very welcoming, around during the day if you needed anything but otherwise left us alone to enjoy the property at out leisure. Lovely location if you you like the "Big" Norfolk sky and peace and quiet. Well located for everywhere in Norfolk but you will need a car. No village shop.

The cottage is actually better than the pictures lead you to believe. The bathroom is huge and has a fabulous shower. The bedrooms are spacious with proper storage space, Its really well equipped. There really is nothing to dislike. Before we arrived we were a bit concerned over the amount of emphasis in the photos and description that was placed on horses and horsey events. In fact we saw very little horse activity. It did not intrude in any way on our enjoyment as "non-horsey" people.

Probably the best cottage I have rented to date

Before arrival I was telephoned, received a short introduction and was offered more information if I tendered my email address to facilitate the sending of cottage and locality information which was most kind and helpful. On arrival after a long journey, and with only being able to give a vague indication of arrival time we were greeted personally and shown around.....Not the usual "Find a key in a box and here is the security code"! We were shown around the cottage, its facilities and equipment, some basic foodstuffs [milk, butter, sausages, bacon, cereals, bread, jams] were supplied to us lest we arrive outside of shop opening times, and two bottles of wine! Again we were told the location of local restaurants, pubs, and shops. This personal touch is so rare nowadays and most welcome. The cottage was immaculate, clean and everything worked....more rare than one would imagine! On departure day we again received the owner's cheery smile without any pressure as to time of departure. I was just turning the dishwasher on and hoovering but I was told that was not necessary! I offer holiday accommodation myself so I know the importance of per arrival information and meeting and greeting so I was cheered that some others shared my own attention to detail!
