Booked room with breakfast and half-board. Check in young lady, Stacy, was very delightful, helpful and efficient. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable with tea and coffee maker and a fan which is essential on a hot July day. The tasting menu dinner we had was exceptionally good and beautifully presently, Kudos to everyone in the kitchen ! We were very pleased that we booked half board and would certainly be going back to Ingham Swan again, soon!
Cocktails we had pre-dinner had too much ice hence a bit diluted!

The Ingham Swan is a 'restaurant with rooms' in the French manner. While nominally still a pub - there's a bar, and music playing - the main focus is the really excellent restaurant, where we ate delicious food cooked in an inventive manner from produce grown in the local area. Our room, in a converted stables, was very nicely finished with vintage mid-century modern pieces and had a very cosy feeling with a good though small bathroom. A bonus was the view of the impressive parish church, formerly a priory, right next door. Great breakfast too. The location on a bend in the road looked as if it might have been noisy, but we didn't hear a thing in the restaurant or the bedroom.
Some hanging rails for towels would come in handy.

Overall it was excellent. The variety, presentation and quality of the food was definitely the best we have had in a long time. we consider it to be reasonably priced, as were the wines. Having an option from a Menu of the Day, an A La Carte Menu of 2 or 3 courses and a Taster Menu is a Plus Point. Breakfasts with home-made bread and croissants as well as a Full English variation on anything you required were plentiful. The staff were extremely efficient, professional and above all, friendly, attending to and accommodating our every need promptly. The property, although on a corner of a road and beside a lovely Church was picturesque and not noisy. Our room was in an Annexe was away from the road. other rooms are situated in cottages.
The decor in the room was very nice and kept very clean. The room wasn’t large and we would have benefitted from a little more storage space over our three day stay but fine for one night. The bathroom was small but adequate.

Breakfast was good, location good, staff were excellent, restaurant excellent. Furnishings good.
There was no mirror in the bedroom to do hair, no dressing table to sit at with mirror. Should be two chairs for two people, only one in room. No mirror over washbasin, unhelpful when shaving or applying makeup.

I liked everything, especially the restaurant and have stayed here before. Beautiful setting with easy access to the broads .
All good but it would have been nice to have decaffeinated coffee capsules for the coffee machine in the room, there was no instant decaff available either to take to the room. My partner has a heart condition so this would have been nice for him.

Everything, the room, the meals and of course the staff.
Nothing, we regularly stay there.

Nothing…We had to alter our leaving plans and could not join our friends for breakfast the management could not provide any an alternative that we could take on our early start.. would not offer any refund on the £40 breakfast very inflexible .. speaking to our friends later in th3 day we’re horrified to learn that £2 surcharge for a latte coffee was diabolical
The room we stayed in was so small that on one side of the bed was a wall making it difficult to ease out of bed without waking my wife on her side of the bed the sloping roof making almost impossible to exit the bed without hitting your head .could be adapted as a single room but as a double totally unacceptable

What a great Gastro Pub with accomodation. Very comfy cottage bedroom with plenty of space and great bathroom.
The food was exceptional in the restaurant as were all the staff. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment. Will return and try the Taster Menu next time.
Lack of seating in the bar area if its busy. Our cottage bedroom was around the side of the building and you had to walk along the main road to it. Quite dangerous in the dark. You just have to be aware. Woud not prevent us from staying again.

lovely building, furniture, relaxing & comfortable

Loved the decor, and thatched roof. Spacious bathroom and large shower, underfloor heating. Room was clean and had a great view over the fields. The staff were friendly, and the meal at the pub was superb.
The bed was a little soft for my comfort (you can’t please everyone) and some small areas of making good hadn’t been painted yet in the room. I’d add a blackout blind or curtain to the shutters as it’s bright in the morning. These minor observations aside I would definitely stay again!

We have stayed several times before. prices have gone up which is inevitable. It is not a cheap option. Very well, aced for visiting the Broads, the coast and North/ West Norfolk. Restaurant is of a high standard.

Our whole experience was exceptional, both evening meal and breakfast where superb. All the staff where friendly and welcoming.
Our room was clean and very comfortable. If there was one thing it was the walk from the cottage to the restaurant, although short, is a little dangerous as there’s no path.
The walk from the cottage to the restaurant. Could do with a footpath.
