It was a very enjoyable little holiday for me.

Delicious and plentiful cooked breakfast although I was expecting just a continental breakfast. Location was fine for getting to the Cathedral and Museum.

The train journeys were awful. Next time I'll travel to London and get a train from there.

Very enjoyable indeed.

Breakfast was better than we were expecting because the website said it was continental but, to our joy, it was COOKED!

Some of the doors etc were slightly sticky

Great location. Far to expensive for the quality and cleanliness.

The location is brilliant. In the centre of Chichester and only a couple of minutes walk from Chichester Festival Theatre. All the staff were extremely nice and friendly.

The room was very tired. The shower was either on or off and the hose leaked. Unfortunately the restaurant/breakfast room was filthy. The floor tables and general furniture were dirty and sticky to the touch. This attracted a large amount of flies and bluebottles. We end up with flies in our drinks at Breakfast.

Three star accommodation at five star prices.

Good location. Pleasant staff. Good breakfast.

This is a bed and breakfast pub and meets the standard one would expect. But at busy times Chichester is short of hotel rooms so everywhere puts up its prices. Our stay was £168 per night for a very ordinary room was not value for money. The room was alongside a courtyard with tables where guests were noisy until closing time.

A perfect pub for a one-night stay!

We had an excellent one-night stay at the George & Dragon and thought it offered very good value for money. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was superb! A great pub, good choice of evening meals, nice beer, friendly staff and ideally situated! Who could ask for anything more?!

Rubbish

Not a lot!

Staff didn’t really know what was happening when checked in. Rooms wasn’t clean and beds was terrible. Over priced pub/hotel taking advantage of the festival being on and increasing prices!

Damp on walls and ceiling, and carpet Window had been kept open to try to get rid of the damp smell.

Disappointing level of service

The continental breakfast was as expected, I.e. cereals, toast, fruit juice, teas and coffee.

When items, like fruit juice, coffee, bread, plates and glasses ran out, they were not replaced until you found someone to ask to do so. Nobody kept an eye on what was going on. Also, we were asked if anything needed replenishing in the room and if we said no, it meant that nobody cleaned the bathroom, emptied the bin or made the bed.

Loved Chichester, it's history and no vehicle streets.

The location was great, so close to all amenities. Loved the walled garden behind the pub, with squirrels and daffodils.

Was OK but I would not choose to return

The breakfast was ok but not very imaginative compared to other B&Bs. More effort could have been made to keep returning customers Only booked it due to location

The room was quite small and dark. On the ground floor with scaffolding outside which had not been mentioned when booking

poor facilities (not serving meals at the time of the stay). pub looks very tired and rooms look to have been neglected for some time - very scruffy. would not stay again. Very poor and not worth paying any amount for.

Enjoyable stay and would stay again

Location for the theatre and town excellent. Breakfast ok requested cooked and offered to pay extra but declined. The room was better than we anticipated. We would suggest a table lamp in lounge area as the light was far too bright when my partner got up early to read. The garden area is pretty and the accessibility to the room was pleasing.

Checking in there was no flexibility. We arrived at 12.45 and told no we could not check in and no effort was made to see if the room was ready. The pub was not busy. The light in the room lounge area too bright. No teaspoon with the tea and coffee facilities. No wifi access signal was poor

Misleading Advert

Good location, bed was comfy & nice towels

Misleading saying breakfast included, it was continental breakfast, well packet croissants & toast! Was expecting cooked breakfast especially as they have a kitchen & restaurant. Room needed some tlc, mould all over bathroom ceiling & tired looking furniture
