Unique place in the Gondwana mountains

Very impresive facility in a beautiful natural setting. Excellent food selection for dinner and breakfast. The place has a unique atmosphere.

No fridge in the rooms.

We enjoyed the stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good.

Unfortunately, the mosquito protection on the windows and bed was missing. Even though the area is not considered very dangerous, protection should be standard.

Niezapomniane chwile w pięknie położonym hotelu z niesamowitymi widokami

Położenie hotelu, basen z niesamowitym widokiem, cała okolica hotelu, taras przy restauracji. Pomocna obsługa, która zwróciła mi uwagę na przebitą oponę i naprawili ją za niewielką opłatą. Menedżer hotelu bardzo miły, chętny do rozmów. Naprawdę super miejsce. Polecam krótką wspinaczkę na górę nad basenem - widok z niej nie do zapomnienia

Logements vraiment sympa, un peu loin pour les valises mais bons. Piscine utilisable et propre, froide mais bon. Super repas du soir en buffet comme le petit déj, a volonté extra. petit boutique de souvenir. randonnées à coté.

The surrounding is just breathtaking. The little houses are very comfortable and everything you need is there. Dinner was also very good, really enjoyed our stay.

Disappointing

This property is over priced for what you get. No alternate restaurants available so they over charge for everything. Don't stay there if you don't have foreign currency!

Relaxing and a wonderful nature and people experience.

In the first instance we wish to thank the staff and management for an amazing experience. Especially Charles who went out of his way to assist with his ancient cures for an upset stomach and moral support 😁. The buffet style food service is not really our preference but in this instance, given the remoteness of the property and the effort the staff put into their work, the food was very good and enjoyable.

Our vehicle could have been closer to our unit.

Overall, a pleasant stay.

Good location, Bungalows were very comfortable and quiet. Communal areas had fireplaces to keep you warm during the cold winter nights. Most of the staff were friendly.

Closer parking to the bungalows would have convenient. Wider internet coverage would make life easier for guests especially groups. Finding your way back to the bungalows at night was tricky.

The stuff, especially Charles, were very friendly, and helpful. They made everything possible, e.g. Marshmallows at the fire place... They made our day and we really enjoyed our 2 nights stay. Thank you very much....

Beautiful location, fantastic food, exceptional staff

We loved everything about this place: beautiful quiet location with fantastic views. Cosy, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean chalets. Fantastic food in a great variety, and exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. The private reserve is perfect for hiking and wildlife spotting. We wish to return one day.

Very nice accomodation close to the FishRiver Canyon.

The staff was extremely friendly, very nice talks and tips for the next travel. Especially Charles was fantastic - he explained us some routes in the south and recommendet places to visit! The food and overall location - nothing to complain. It was delicious and well served. Also the possibility to use the facilities of the nearby Canyon Lodge was nice. Thank you very much!

A wonderful stay was had by us all

Ambiance was excellent. Loved the choice of salads for dinner. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much for them.

Nice place near to Fish river Canyon

This is one of best of Gondwana's collection accomodation. Ratio price and power is amazing. Big clear room, quiet place and nice surroundings. Little cold pool, but we was were in rainy season, but very refreshing after visiting fish river canyon:)
