food good, plenty of it.
Had to clean my own room. Not stated when booking a con
I complained so they did it once.
Awful job
hair on bathroom by sink
not hoovered.
poorly made bed
cups not cleaned properly
teas not replenished
didn't clean toilet seat
did not clean sink
common parts looked like never cleaned. doors between floors so dirty.
And they charged a lot of money for this drivel.
Check in staff not helpful, just didn't care.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, perfect location on the seafront with parking available. We had a room with a sea view overlooking the bandstand and pier which was amazing. The room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was included with a good selection. The hotel had everything we needed, couldn’t fault it and will be booking again.

The only problem that we had was that the rooms did not have any air conditioning. The fans provided were not strong enough as it was a warm evening. The rooms were ok. However the beds, furniture were crumbling. Breakfast was ok: nothing special.
Need new beds. The ones we had in our rooms were nearing the end of their lifetime. Rooms need air-conditioning (the mini tower fans were not up to scratch).

Gorgeous building. Single room was a good size. I got a sea view which I did not expect.
Fabulous fridge in the room - it proved to be a life saver in the heat.
They dealt with my complaint quickly, offered me another room, which I declined.
I got my refund in 2 days.
My time on their bar balcony with a Gin & Tonic watching the red arrows still made my visit.
Install air conditioning and I would revisit.
Unfortunately the room was too hot - unable to sleep, really uncomfortable. Booked out in the morning. Unable to stay another night.
Was offered a small fan - useless - should have been in the room on arrival.
Evening meal was a buffet - which should have been on the details. Kept waiting half an hour before they opened and by then the food was dry over cooked and unappealing. Such a shame.
Big hotel - gorgeous but tired. Needs cracked, broken walls, ceilings and flooring fixed.

Great location. We were there during the Air Show. Had a fab room 114 with enormous balcony. Enormous room and bathroom. The bathroom was wonderful. All new and clean.
The last night we were in 110 on fourth floor a corner balcony. Only one window would open. Very comfortable.
The breakfast wasn’t bad. But please cook sausages more as they’re anaemic. Everything else was good. Great scrambled eggs and fried eggs. Great coffees and juices. We enjoyed the breakfast but no black pudding 🥲…
Loved the hotel leaving candy rock and pens out for the guests during the air show..
Had sandwiches n fries which were delicious. Shame there’s no housekeeping. We were in a superior room and expected water. We didn’t get any but on asking at reception they gave us two bottles but only once. Would have been a nice touch. We were paying quite a lot being during the air show. It’s very difficult phoning reception from home. No one bothers to answer. I was told I could book the car park. Then I was told by email I couldn’t. I was worried as I’m disabled. They said we could park outside but they didn’t tell us the roads would be closed due to air show. We worried all the way but when we arrived I had a space booked in car park at £8 a day which was great. Don’t think the dinner was worth the money. There are tons of restaurants around that are much better and more friendly.
The reception staff were very helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. I was very impressed.
Whilst the bedrooms were good 114 was a little dusty. Both the balconies and thresholds were very dirty with Bird Poo. Don’t know why they don’t jet wash it ..
First night we went into dining room 7.40. We were greeted by a miserable waiter who told us we had ten mins to eat. Food wasn’t bad it was a buffet. But not much there. He did get me some ice cream though as I don’t eat cake.
Don’t like the refurbishment as it’s lost its Olde’ Worldiness which I loved…
Lift could do with a good clean. Restaurant closes at 8 pm. Bar has restricted opening times.

Property was too hot
Too hot could not sleep

Watch put for seagulls coming into your room and syealing your food and in my case my watch!
Perhaps there should be some seagull prevention on the windows ...no air con so you need the window open!

Location
Reception not very welcoming, the room was so hot with no air con , the bed was so uncomfortable and only two pillows ,

The Seaview was excellent. The room was extremely clean but would I call it superior? Oh executive? I found the room very plain basic but was a lovely size.
The inside of the lift was disgraceful needs a complete refurbish on arrival. We was a little bit early but explained we were quite happy to have a meal or a drink and we was told our room wouldn’t be ready till 3 o’clock and there was nowhere to eat or drink the bar wouldn’t be open until 6 o’clock, clearly in the middle of August on a Saturday definitely not good enough

the hotel was in a good location
room smelled of cigarettes and when reported wasn't rectified. asked to speak to a manager and was told they finish at 3pm and no deputy manager,
we have paid £30 for evening meal but it's only a buffet and found out that it's only £12.50. i emailed hotel to raise these issues and not had a reply

Great location car park at back £8 a night. Reception staff very helpful. Clean warm comfortable room. Great for the price.

Amazing room i stayed in & very beautiful view overlooking the sea/beach.

Breakfast and the location were only good things about this hotel
Cleanliness 1/10. I don't think rooms are cleaned properly. I could see and feel dust everywhere. The mirrors, doors, desk, bedside ... everywhere. Towels were crisp but the duvet cover felt used 😭 Also the reception staffs need to be trained to smile a little.

was all good

Die Lage
Ausblick auf Hinterhof, kein Sonnenstrahl im Zimmer, Vorhänge zu kurz, um nachts vom Licht abzuschirmen, alte, nicht zeitgemäße Ausstattung .
Frühstück ärmlich.

Splendid location- great sea views

Sea view and close to tennis venue
Choice of alternative milk options at breakfast, ie oat, almond and coconut. I am allergic to soy.

I had dinner and breakfast and everything was excellent. The location was perfect because it was very near the beach.
I didn't know I had to check out at 10 am. I thought because I did the check in at 4pm the check out was at the same time.

Its splendour
Needs a bit more TLC in room. Bit tired look but still lovely rooms.

We’ve been there probably 7 to 8 times & feel very comfortable there & also where it is situated.
Being it was a bank holiday, you can’t get in your room till 4 which is totally understandable, there where quite a few of us that arrived earlier & you can’t get a tea or a coffee. If it’s due to staff they could have a machine.

Excellent choice and plenty of it .
Rooms were not serviced at all !

No information given about meals I would have loved meals information but non shared to us
The room had no fresh air drainage smell throughout

Despite being off season and the hotel suffering from storm damage the staff were very capable.

Good lovely fab
I liked it all

Everything was fine
No disabled bars around the toilet. The beds were quite hard because the mattresses are old. The front door was damaged and we had to drag cases right round the back.we are disabled.
3.1
The sea view
Everything. The service was poor. The receptionist didn’t have a clue what she was doing. The room was filthy dirty. Food and drink spillages not wiped up. Dirt and hairs around the sink and bath. The whole room had not been cleared of dust and cobwebs. Black all round the window sills and dead flys. And the table was all broken off in the edge, making it very sharp and dangerous
3.1
We booked a standard room but when we opened the door there were biscuit wrappers and crumbs all over the floor, we went to reception and explained what we had seen they said if the cleaners don’t shut the windows properly the pigeons get in and rip the biscuit wrappers and eat the biscuits.
The receptionist was very apologetic and upgraded our room to a sea view and we gave us complimentary breakfast.
The view was to die for and there was so much choice for breakfast.
3.1
Great location, comfortable beds, helpful staff. Can get daily on street parking permit for £2.
Unbearable room temperature due to no A/C and poor standalone fan, window opens just a crack.
3.1
Spacious room, plenty of storage and a beautiful sea view with big windows.
Bathroom was standard and good selection of channels on the tv. Was a mini fridge for your own use.
The beds were two singles pushed together… I’m a fidget 🤷🏻♀️😂 so this was uncomfortable during the middle of the night when you’d feel yourself in the dip. The single bed itself was comfortable though.
3.1
The room has a balcony. It was room 0413 and you could see the sea from the bed.
There was no room service
