Good location in a quiet neighborhood, bedroom clean, bathroom & shower in the room, feels like you are in a hotel

The noise from the generator / fan outside my window was loud but earplugs cut out most of the sound which was fine.
Recommend earplugs.

The location and building are amazing !
The hostel is already a place to experience and to enjoy (decoration and spaces) Free coffee all day and great organisation to be autonomous : food storage, cooking, laundry etc.
Thanks to the team, I will come back !

The location was close to my conference center
The bed was totally small and not good
4.3
Lots of space and different common rooms to sit, big kitchen.
Ping pong table and pool table need repairs and full equipment. Is was not possible to play properly.

The staff are wonderful! Every staff members I encountered was so lovely and helpful. It’s in a great location, right on Kelvingrove park. Good facilities and common areas.
Nothing I particularly disliked. My only suggestion would be that it would be nice to have privacy curtains on the beds. Having the toilet and shower in the dorm room made it a little tricky to be quiet getting ready in the morning but that’s just dorm life I guess!

The building is beautiful and the location is quite nice, and convenient. There's parking outside. Some staff were rather kind to accommodate me on a lower level as I am pregnant, and climbing the staircase would have been too exhausting.
The shower water pressure was extremely low, so if you wish to wash your hair forget it.

I came to Glasgow to visit my daughter who is at University so the location was perfect.
I was very pleasantly surprised with the hostel accommodation and facilities it had.
I booked a bed in a female dorm and the room was simple but comfortable.
All the staff I met were very helpful & courteous especially Rachel, Martin & Shane, the duty supervisor.
Nothing.
Everything was excllent

No fan in the toilet so it smells bad

The room was clean and well-furnished. The facilities available in the hostel were extensive, with a hidden TV room, lounge and comfortable kitchen. After arriving in Glasgow later than planned, Joel in reception was very welcoming at reception, easy to chat to and great at giving advice on good places for dinner and sightseeing on a cold December evening. Leah was very helpful in giving me a good recommendation for breakfast when I was checking out.
Nothing of note, but one night is not enough to enjoy what is a beautiful place to stay in the wonderful West End. When I come back to Glasgow, I know where to come to!

Fantastic location, beautiful building and amazing staff. Games room with pool table was a nice addition. Breakfast was as advertised, minimalistic but suitable for the price we paid
The room (number 116) was cold, not sure if this is the case in other parts of the hostel

Beautiful but sprawling building in a beautiful location. Lovely lounge with view. High enough above Kelvin park to have great views but out of the way to get to.
Tea and coffee at front door. Self catering kitchen downstairs open 24hr.
Comfy bed.
Stairs and uneven floors in corridors Plus 10 minute uphill walk from bus stop so not easy access.
Noisy radiator had to be turned off during night.

Lack of charging points

A great building, the staff were really great.

People working there where great and really friendly, I forgot to book breakfast but they fixed that on the spot for me which was nice.
Beds where a bit too small for tall people but it was good enough.

This is a lovely old building across from a beautiful park.
The building is not close to food establishments and shopping. It is perched on a hill, which gives you a great view of the city, but not so convenient for running out for something to eat or even taking public transportation to another part of the city. It might not be bad for young, energetic folks, but for older folks, the hike up and down the hill can get tiresome. Definitely not a location for anyone with mobility issues.

The staff were fantastic. Really friendly and helpful.
The lounge was lovely, and the free tea and coffee is a lovely touch.
The hostel is sizist. It provides miniature beds that are totally unsuitable for anyone over 5'6"
They are unnecessarily narrow - 70cm, and have ends on. I'm 6' tall and couldn't turn without risking rolling out. I ended up putting the mattress on the floor.
Really not acceptable - or judging by the space, necessary!

Should be cautious about spiders which were very big and live in the room
