Cosy, quiet, relaxing stay at dairy cottage. Suzanne was a great host and went out of her way to help us with directions etc.
There was nothing we didn’t like.

Dairy cottage is like a home from home but so much more.
Own parking space. Beautiful private seating area outside with a fig tree. Fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast basket, G&T in the fridge with chocolates, milk, butter and OJ, freshly picked apples and plums from the orchard. Real homely feeling throughout the cottage. Every room is clean beyond your dreams! Even toiletries in the shower room such as tooth paste and face mask.
Hubby and I completely relaxed into our 4-night stay. It was so peaceful. Less than 5 min drive to the local pub. Host could not have been friendlier, welcoming or hospitable. On a last evening, she popped round with freshly made, warm apple crumble and custard. We were sad to leave!
We visited Holt (about 40 mins drive) for a bite to eat and great independent shops. Sheringham (beach walk and coastal town about 1.15 hrs away).
We struggled with getting good wifi on the right day / night but the host quickly reset and rectified the issue.

Full english breakfast in a hamper to cook as required. Eggs were from the host's chickens who wandered the property. The location was very quiet. There was plenty to do within an easy drive either for quiet and tranquil entertainment and for dining.
My wife was happy with the bed but I'm a little fussy. The shower was miniscule but the building being a barn conversion did not immediately lend itself to anything bigger. There was no ice available for the welcome gin and tonic. An ice tray would have been a benefit.

Warm, pleasant and helpful greeting, compact accommodation but very quiet, well kept, clean, comfortable and with attention to detail. Very good selection of food left for breakfast. Very much appreciated.

Nothing it was perfect.

Attractive cottage in secluded location. Spotlessly clean and well equipped throughout. Large garden space also included. Owner, Suzanne, is attentive and very friendly. An ideal home away from home to enjoy for itself and as a base for exploring the surrounding area. Recommended.

The Breakfast provisions were excellent, more than we expected. We were welcomed with cake and more was provided. We had everything that we would have had at home!
There really wasn't anything we didn't like.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The check in was handled really well and reflected what I would expect, as a healthcare professional, with regard to the pandemic. The room was large and comfortable, with lovely views over the garden. The breakfast was delicious with an excellent variety of options. Both hosts were friendly and welcoming. There were some lovely touches with treats being provided daily. We loved the suitcase that contained the tea, coffee, biscuits and crisps. It was great to have fresh milk always available rather than the usual UHT others provide. I am glad to see that miniature toiletries were not freely available, as this helps to reduce single use plastics. This is the best place we have stayed in for years. Thank you.
Everything was excellent.

Quiet secluded location with access to wonderful open space including a private garden. Exceptional hosts who looked after us very well. Excellent breakfast hamper. Excellent COVID-19 safeguards.

If you want a break in rural Norfolk, stay at Dairy Cottage, it’s a lovely location set in beautiful gardens. The host Suzanne was brilliant, she gave us advice on where to visit around the surrounding areas. A basket of provisions and a bottle of wine were in the cottage on arrival, also dog biscuits for our dog Lottie, which was a lovely touch.

Everything was fantastic. The cottage is cute as a button and well equipped with everything needed. Suzanne was an exceptional host, down to special treats for our dog and welcome delights. Super location for exploring near and far, lots to see and do. Perfect patio garden with gate to enjoy breakfast and evening drinks. The guests garden with boules, ring toss game and various seating is a huge bonus, with lovely meadow for walking the dog. All in all a little slice of paradise!
Nothing not to like!!

From the initial welcome to the delicious breakfasts and little treats left for us, our stay exceeded expectations and we would highly recommend. We were even provided with afternoon cream tea on one day, which was lovely.

The luxury hamper provided for breakfast was exceptional. Excellent selection of food and excellent quality.
The attention to detail inside the accommodation was second to none! The owners have thought of everything!

Everything was perfect with this cottage. We couldn’t fault anything. Suzanne the owner goes above and beyond in looking after you and nothing was too much trouble. Everything you could think of is supplied for your breakfast. Also there is a lovely little hamper filled with goodies. The cottage was spotlessly clean, cosy and had excellent wifi. We would definitely return.
Nothing.

We loved everything. The Dairy Cottage is small but perfectly formed. The attention to detail is spot on, the hamper each morning instead of breakfast at the house was a sure fire hit- including the outstanding eggs laid by the properties bantam chickens . A peaceful , private get away in the middle of beautiful Norfolk countryside.
Everything was perfect .

Visited during Virus outbreak. Breakfast items supplied (even though it has a good kitchen including Dishwasher!). These food items were incredibly varied and ample - even salmon as well as the more usual - a real plus! (We opted to cook our own because of the Covit-19 outbreak). The best breakfasts we've ever come across! Varied gluten and dairy free was also well catered for, for my wife. Lovely and quiet. Very approachable and helpful host who was reassuringly careful about virus protection. Our dog needed to be kept on lead when outside as there are pet chickens (fresh eggs, plus apples & plums there). The dog was able to ball-chase at a nearby "Country Park" and also at the nearby two villages which have lovely open spaces and walks. Can sit outside pub at Old Buckenham on the green with its ponds and benches. We drove to the seaside at Wells by the Sea which was very crowded on Bank Holiday weekend so we avoided the outdoor cafe because of Covit-19 and had some beautiful walks on the beach and in the woods. Lovely visit to the nearer Gooderstone Water Gardens. As with so many properties, the bathroom fan was very noisy so used iPhone torch to avoid waking partner during the night by activating the fan with the lightswitch. There is a pleasant, private small courtyard with both bistro seating and more comfortable chairs which affords both shade and sun. Plus a very large garden with table and chairs and field area available for guests. The view from the cottage windows on the other side is to a large cottage garden, delightfully planted. Excellent wi-fi. Very very clean. Thanks Suzanne!
Nothing, except could perhaps have a small battery-lit light for night-time bathroom visits to avoid waking partner with light-activated fan. Maybe a shelf over the towel rail? And possibly on the wall between fridge freezer and cooker.

Wow, what can I say? I booked the cottage for myself and my 7 year old daughter after reading reviews about the peacefulness and cleanliness of the site. On arrival we had a wonderful warm welcome by Suzanne, who made sure everything was just right for our stay. The cottage was spotless, and well kitted out with everything we needed. We were more and more impressed with each day that went by. Breakfast was delivered every morning, always perfectly cooked and with extra little treats like bottles of juice, fruit and chocolate. Also each morning my daughter was left a treasure hunt to do around the gardens and fields, returning to the cottage each evening having completed the hunt, to find rewards left outside the door. She was made to feel so special, and it was lovely seeing her eager to get out for our morning walk to find whatever had been hidden. Suzanne's attention to detail was second to none, right down to little notes left on the car wishing my daughter a lovely day. The chickens roaming the grounds were adorable, and the guest garden was kitted out with plenty of things to do. Our favourite was playing jenga in the evening whilst the sun set.
In terms of area, there is plenty to do if you don't mind a drive. We visited Bewilderwood easily from the cottage, as well as Norwich city and Bressingham Steam Railway. Overall, I'd highly recommend this place, particularly if you enjoy peace and quiet!
