Very spacious and comfortable
Could do with more lighting over kitchen area.
Requires a curtain over patio door. Could do with a grab rail in toilet area.. just what we thought.

The owners were friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and spacious. Comfortable bed.
The price. For£130 per night we expected a lot more, it was more of an air b&b than a hotel or b&b. Breakfast wasn't what we consider a continental. It was a piece of cheese and a slice of ham, a Greek yoghurt and a bowl of cereal and a scone or crumpet. No croissant!
Shower was a bit small.

The view on the balcony of our room was beautiful especially at night with the stars out and the bed was very comfortable. Perfect place to stay for visits to Brighton or just long walks along the cliffs and sea! Even in crazy winds.
This B&B is different to most and you know what I think it is a good thing. Both owners were very helpful when asked anything at all.
The lack of clear details about what the B&B is like. According to a friend it is a very old style way of doing a B&B because it is in the owners home which I have never experienced before.
For me I felt like we lacked the privacy we would get from the stereotypical hotel style B&B. But I tell you honestly it was a really lovely stay, totally different to what I know, welcoming, relaxed and very homely. I would visit again!
It just takes a little getting used to. Perfect for short stays. At first I felt a little uncomfortable but after the first night and getting to know the owners we relaxed much more.

very clean and comfortable, the hosts were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was continental and substantial, with a full English at an extra cost. The full english is enormous and delicious!

It quotes free parking.but you need a visitor's parking permit.so could of got a parking ticket.also no mention of having to go upstairs.as my husband is disabled.also as we were told by Rob that the breakfast was £7 then Jackie said room only breakfast is £13.50. who pay that for breakfast.we were only there for an hour as my husband had a phone call to say family illness could we go back asap.

The hosts were delightful, very friendly and helpful, the bedroom was nicely heated and breakfast was very good, we will definitely stay here again when we next visit Brighton
The ensuite was cold a heated towel rail would be a big improvement

Lovely family owners. Kind and very friendly. High quality bedding. Lovely balcony with a sea view. More than spotless. But mostly how the owners made it a special stay. I have food intolerances so they made me a special breakfast that I could eat. Fantastic surprise. They really went out of their way. We will definitely be back.
Nothing. Can't fault a thing.

The region is delightful for walks and views.

The area is quiet, free on street parking in a quiet residential area, great location to the sea cliffs, super breakfasts, friendly hosts.
We are tall people & a bed with a foot board is more uncomfortable than without one.

The room was lovely, and we could see the sea from our balcony. Breakfast was great and different each day, which was a lovely detail. Rob and Jackie were so friendly, kind and welcoming.
6.0
The room was very clean, ,the bed was comfortable, it was good to have tea and coffee making facilities.
The room was quite small, and the roof sloped at one end, , so we did sometimes knock our heads on the ceiling at that end of the room, and we aren't tall. . The Venetian blind in the bathroom had a slat missing so that affected the privacy, as the neighbours were close. Would have preferred small individual toiletries and not ones that others had used previously. The floating shelf on one side of the bed, where you would put your drink was unstable. We didn't see any smoke alarms, and there was no sign of any fire safety notice in our room in case of a fire.

Everything was nice about our stay. The host was very pleasant and welcoming
We did'nt find any faults with our accomodation

The hosts were very friendly and a lovely couple. The accommodation is close to the sea and cliffs and provides a lovely walk towards Rottingdean and Brighton.
The room on the first floor was nice and kept quite cool during the hot weather.
The property states breakfast is included but there was a £7 charge for a cooked breakfast. This should have been made clear at the time of booking I think.
The standard uncooked breakfast was a little odd (shreddies, porridge and cornflakes over the three days) as well as ham, cheese and toast.
The accommodation was absolutely fine but it describes it as a B&B in Rottingdean...it isn't, it is near Peacehaven. If you have a car and intend to drive around this is fine but using the bus means you are out of the city boundary and it does cost a bit more.
