Nic
Blisko do Univerytetu to jedyny plus.

The location is outside of the city center, but OK as shops, restaurants etc. are around. The interior is simple, and the room is not really cozy, but it is sufficient to stay for 1-2 nights.
The room (including bathroom) seems to not have been renovated for a rather long time. A couple of things have been fixed/fixated with glue and tape.

Location is not bad (a bit of a walk from city centre, but easily accessible with subway. Really close to Kelvingrove).
Staff was friendly and helpful as possible.
The facility is crumbling, everything squeaks, a lot of stuff broken and/or falling apart.
No extra lock in the inside of the room - made me feel very unsafe.

Nothing to like about this place at all
Everything I booked in for 7 nights but left after one night and booked into another hotel, the place was an absolute dump and it stunk of dampness and lots of other things I really feel like I've been conned and felt really disgusted by the place

Sun, the owner of the place, is a nice, amiable, and lovely personality. She was a great host. The facility was a comfortable place to stay. My friend, his wife, and I enjoyed our stay.

Glasgow House is a quiet, no frills, hassle free establishment in a converted Georgian Townhouse in the heart of the West End of Glasgow, within walking distance of many, many places to visit, relax, eat and simply enjoy. the staff are efficient and unobtrusive, the rooms clean and comfortable and though free on street parking is a five minute walk away, it’s well worth the very reasonable cost of staying in such an outstanding location.
I’m on older gentleman and I loved it.

A bed for the night, exactly as you'd expect. The lady that checked me in took everything very seriously (in the best way possible), it all felt very safe and professional given the price and facility. Perfect!
I wish I'd stayed longer. Maybe a bedside lamp would be nice if I'm really nitpicking, but I didn't expect or require one for the purposes of the visit.

Clean, spacy and well-equipped rooms, friendly staff, quiet.
The hotel is not always so good at responding to emails.

Location is very good, near the university of Glasgow. Staff is nice.
The bed is a little uncomfortable, especially the quilt.

The room was nice, clean, and warm.
The bathroom maybe a bit small, but no big deal.

Location
Room was freezing have stayed here under previous owners 2 month's ago and the same room had no extra heater windows so bad curtains move in wind.
Asked 4 days for an extra heater as thermometer showed that room was never warmer than 17 degrees. And after main heating off room was a cold 12 degrees.
This is surly not legal.
I may consult citizens advice regarding the above mentioned issues

Absolutely nothing went well- My stay was an unqualified disaster
What a Horrible place this was to stay. I was booked for 3 nights but I decided to stay only for 1 night then change to a better hotel.
Its finer points
· The bathroom was quite frankly disgusting- I don’t think it had been cleaned for a month and was quite unsanitary
· The Kettle in the room was not working (although a staff member provided another kettle).
· The Heater in the room was not working (Hotel said that the heater had a timer that starts automatically at 5am but the heater in my room was not working at all! The Hotels response was to do nothing and just ask me to wait and wait. A Gentleman from the Hotel came a few times to my room to check (to be honest this was a bit annoying as they came several times without solving anything. The bedroom was actually so cold that I bought a hot bottle water in a shop near the hotel I – cannot believe in this day and age I stayed in a hotel with a hot bottle water
· The TV did not work the entire duration of my visit
· They finally offered me to change to another room after I had finished checking out while I was waiting for a taxi to pick up me.
· In here I paid what as a customer need to paid but I didn't get what is in the description about this hotel. I paid check in early; I accept no refund for the 2 nights left. The woman staff in the reception screamed and yelled at me without any reason after I told her that I didn’t like her attitude.
· Some of the taxi drivers told me to be careful staying at this hotel is not safe if we are a tourist and having cash money.
As a tourist in this Fine City- I can honestly say this is absolutely the worst hotel I have ever visited- If it were possible to mark it out of 10 I would offer a minus 1 score- there are so many better hotels in the City and this one should be avoided at all costs

This guest house deserves better reviews in all honesty. It’s clean, quite modern (albeit simple) and has everything you’d really need for a few days. I was here for 3 nights and I enjoyed my stay a lot more than a previous Glasgow guest house I was in. The shower is a real highlight, it’s a really nice power shower and it always had hot water. The bed was also quite comfy.
Check in was a bit odd as reception was rarely staffed and I walked into the receptionist having a smoke outside. Other than that she was pleasant. My room was lovely but it was right at the front door and faced onto the street. This meant that I had to keep the curtains shut all day and I could hear everyone walking in and out of the guest house. It didn’t feel very safe and I don’t think they should really sell this room. It’s also on a VERY noisy street full of students

Smells bad when I entered the room. And the carpets are so dirty and toilets walls are not properly cleaned.
3.1
a quirky and interesting room with all that I needed.
I had to book another night at the last minute due to a train strike on 1st October which costs me a lot more (because it was last minute) I did write an email to this effect to the property and tried to phone a few times but with no response. Maybe just be more efficient in returning calls/emails please.

Number 8 is a cozy room and everything in it was a good use of space (and there isn't much of that!) Perfect for a single back-packer and the tea was refreshing too. Comfortable bed and slept soundly with little disturbance outside (which is remarkable seeing there is a busy pub right outside!) Number 11 family room: Again excellent usage of space, humble but comforting decor. Artistically positioned bathroom. Liked it very much. Will return.

Friendly Receptionist. Comfortable bed. Ensuite. Location was fine - supermarkets and shops within short walking distance.
