Pretty area and buildings
No warm jacuzzi, car park and hotel.full if work vans ajd workmen on course, I have no problem with workmen AT ALL..just don't want a hotel full of them when I've gone for a relaxing spa time away. I might just as well gone to a travel lodge. Disabled facilities are dire. Lack of signage for reception. Not worth the money I'm afraid. Disappointing.

Easy parking/ lovely characterful building / our room was an excellent size, with good facilities and on the ground floor which I don’t get very often elsewhere. The breakfast was also delicious and lovely views from the windows onto the lawns and lake.
Nothing!

We liked the location of the hotel in relation to the event we were attending (Goodwood Revival).
We've stayed at The Lythe Hill for the last 3 years and really enjoyed it, however since it's been taken over by IHG the rooms are very plain and resemble a Holiday Inn or Premier Inn room. We paid £290 per night for a Queens Suite, but it was very plain, not set out at all well, and in our opinion, not worth the price! To add insult to injury we were charged a service charge for a self service breakfast!

Great spa facilities - lovely room with traditional features
Drink/ food prices but expensive

It was stunning, the perfect stay for my fiancés birthday.

Really quirky. Lots of places to sit and chill. Staff were excellent. First class service from everyone. Nothing was too much trouble.
It was a shame the main restaurant was not open. Pizzeria was brilliant though 😊
7.0
Great location for our needs on what is a sprawling hotel site.
Staff pleasant and attentive.
Breakfast catered for every desire possible, I was flummoxed as to where to start eating, so much wonderful choice.
Very comfortable bed and lovely shower room. Our room was well furnished and cleaned promptly.
Our room (3) bore no resemblance to the pictures advertising it which was misleading in my opinion. Only one side of the bed was easily accessible as that end of the room was so small. Room 3 was on the ground floor next to a noisy staircase and banging doors. Whilst a request, I had asked for a quiet room.

Understated elegance. Beautiful setting, fabulous pizzaria.Superb pool area, sauna , steam.Great price.
Showers in changing rooms need attention.. simple jobs actually that will make the difference.Sauna slats need replacing as they had become bent and soft.
8.0
Easy check in, cleanliness of the passage ways and rooms, staff very friendly. Rooms very quiet, and comfy bed with plenty of pillows. Breakfast was plentiful and whatever you wanted cooked was cooked to order, none of this eggs and bacon under a heat lamp. So recommend to include breakfast.
Lots of steps along the corridor which can be a bit too much for someone with walking difficulties. Toilet flush was a temperamental but no bad enough to report it.

The Tudor original building was amazing. Lovely helpful staff and very comfortable room.
My only ! complaint is in the pool area, it was a very overcast day so quite dark in the pool. Needs more lighting around the pool to read a book and pool needs to be lit. Everything else was GREAT.

Room was lovely. Restaurant staff were very nice.

Room was very comfy
The food in the restaurant needs healthier options

Very comfortable rooms, with lots of lovely little touches, such as the Christmas tree biscuits. Nice teas and hot chocolate.
Friendly staff
To be really picky perhaps they could of had yoghurt at breakfast, otherwise good

Lovely setting and grounds
Very noisy room above a wedding party which went on until 2300. Rooms have thin walls and other guest tv was very loud at 0600 on a Sunday morning. Toilet was not flushing and engineer in the room for 45 minutes to fix it when we just wanted to relax.

Breakfast was very god with excellent staff
Reception staff were also excellent
Room was a good size and well located
Swimming pool was excellent as well
The complex was well laid out

The property was very clean and rooms very spacious
I found the management at the bar very rude. The wine I bought didn’t taste right and I said to the bar manager about this and there was no apology. I just got “ well it should be fine as we open a new bottle daily” she came across very rude and I heard her a few times be rude to the staff behind the bar which I didn’t find acceptable when there is paying customers sitting 2 ft away. It made my experience less enjoyable and I was made to feel like I had done something wrong when I was a paying customer.

Location and restaurant menu
Poor spa facilities with noisy extended children's swimming session at the end of a working day

The food was excellent 👌🏼
The spa was unnecessarily dark and the pool was pretty cold…

Nice setting, comfy, nice room.
Confusing arrangements before we came - took a while to sort out.

nothing except reception staff tried to help a bit
My fault entirely by booking a wrong date for the next day. Reception advised I could manage my booking for another date. This as subsequently declined and an unhelpful telephone call ensued. Admittedly my error on the date but very unsympathetic and unhelpful telephone call. I will not be returning.

The room we had was very spacious, clean with lovely treats (refilled each day). The breakfast was fantastic and the staff gave takeaway boxes which went the extra mile. The facilities on the ground was great. I went with my mum and she can’t stop raving about the beautifully manicured grounds and lovely experience. We will be back!

We paid £107 for our stay and that included a lovely breakfast. This meant that it was only a little more than a budget hotel nearby by the time you added breakfast. The grounds were nice, the room was modern and well put together and the stay came with the obvious added bonus of a swimming pool and spa so much better from that perspective!
The pool temperature was colder than you expect/hope for a hotel/spa pool and the showers were cold as there was a problem with the boiler, which we weren’t told about. It was only when I reported the problem that they said someone had been called out to fix it.

The restaurant was excellent. More like a motel than a hotel.
Swimming pool cold and jacuzzi not working.

Beautiful grounds
Friendly staff.
Did not want a room in the 1500’s building. They moved us to modern section.
Need washcloths!

we came to this venue for a wedding. the rooms were amazing and the scenery was just spectacular ❤️

Location, pool, reception staff, gym.
The location is ideal for visiting various national trust places nearby.
Pool was warm and inviting and not busy.
Reception staff moved us on request and provided cutlery promptly. Checkout took seconds.
Gym had enough to keep me going (free weights, cardio, matrix multi gym etc).
Value for money, especially The Tudor restaurant breakfast.
This is more minor: the breakfast staff were new on the job.
Guy in suit offered to make tea, the other staff didn't. Didn't know menu choices. They were nice enough but training on the job is unprofessional for us as customers. Expected this to be better and I am sure it will be given more time.
More serious - the value for money for breakfast was laughable.
£8 for the "avacado on toast" was one thin slice of sourdough at best.
The Eggs Florentine featured far too much butter which greatly detracted from the dish.
The Eggs Benedict claimed to include prosciutto ham - it tasted of and looked like the cheapest a local supermarket had.
Our room was fine except for the random unexplained fan noise every so often.

NOTHING WE HAD TO GO HOME!
ACCESS *IMPOSSIBLE FOR DISABLED. I was promised a refund, but nearly one week later no refund.
I booked asking for a ground floor room told yes, as I am partially disabled. On arrival my wife collected a key.
The slope up the car park is steep. Then a slope to the room, I could only manage half way as out of breath.
Offered another room, drove to that, front door step 10 inches high. receptionist was good and I should have been told about the slope. Bar & restaurant access, no way steps. I think I need my refund as this hotel is NOT DISABLED FRIENDLY!

Beautiful hotel and room. Pool was great and we had no problem getting loungers both days. Request for a quiet room was worth it as we were put in a quiet zone and it was silent at night, even with a wedding taking place.
Menu at the Tudor Restaurant was limited but the food we had was delicious. Breakfast choice also felt limited but again the food was tasty.

I had a very comfortable stay, I needed to recharge after a stressful time at work. I loved the location in a peaceful countryside, amazing breakfasts and relaxing spa.
I didn't know that massages at the spa have to be booked waaay in advance. One day before is not enough.
8.0
Peaceful, relaxing, had great facilities and staff were excellent.
Room was not cleaned/replenished until
late afternoon on day 3 of our stay so bins were full, we had no tea and coffee or toilet rolls by then!

Location, staffs, cleanness, spa
Woken up very early morning with banging noise from rubbish collecting( room 208) 😫
8.0
Great location, nice leisure complex, with sunbathing terrace, lovely room , finely appointed throughout good value for the quality.
Not much , didn’t eat there as pizzeria was closed (only open weekends) so went into the town as I fancied pizza!
8.0
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
Loved the biscuits in the room!
Good location for Deliveroo/ just eat if you don’t fancy what’s on the menu at the hotel.
Lovely location for a wedding
The wedding organisers made the bride very stressed and ruined the experience of the morning. We understand that people have a time limit and other places to be but I don’t think it was handled very well.
Food and drinks are very pricey.

The views the lay out it is beautiful rooms comfortable and nice and modern
The whole place lacked in staff members would be so much better if you had staff to run it and maybe happy staff who want to actually be there !! It really lets the hotel down.
